“Food quality-wise, i can tell how this reataurant has been surviving for really a long time. Since my little sons cannot eat spicy food, I tried to find non-spicy food and ordered. Lamb skew: i am picky with lamb and this dish was really good. No strong smell, not too chewy, properly seasoned. Kungpao chicken: not spicy version i think. Sauce flavor is just properly sweet, chicken is tender, nuts are also properly cooked. Radish and beef soup: this would be very healthy. Ox tail might be cooked inside for a long time(asian way) and i can taste the deep flavor. Potato slice dish(forgot the name): although it was not my sons' favorite, i think it is tasty enough. Nothing really special to describe. Price: 4 dishes total 91$ including 18% tips. INCLUDING TIPS........ can you not show me a screen with minimum 18% tip while it is a takeout order....? Customized 0 tip right in front of staff when they are looking at me is really tricky.“
“Decided to treat myself to a milk tea after a run and looked up local boba shops in the area and came across Moo Tea. I got a regular milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice and it was good! The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. I came at around 4 PM on a Sunday and the store was empty so the service was undeniably quick. There's a kiosk to order from so you can take your time and look through the menu. Overall, a good experience and would come back!“
“If you have never done hotpot before, make sure you come with someone who knows. They are not good at explaining or helping out.I would recommend to come with 4 people at least, this way you can order to share more things (meat, fish, vegetables, whatever you like).I had the gold broth (chicken soup broth) and their original broth (spicy level 1). It felt very spicy to me but I usually like mild. So it makes sense.“
“I loveee this tea place! It is tea forward, and has so many options. I try something new each time I am here. The toppings have great texture. My favorite combo so far is the golden phoenix oolong with oat milk, osthmanthus jelly, and lavender cream foam. It has been on my list since last year and so happy I finally was able to try it this year, so much that I've been 3 times and it is only March , LOL. Parking is covered lot, so yay it's easy. If you love tea sweets, come give them a try, I know I'll be back!“
“You never go wrong eating at The Hat! Whether you're a burger or sandwich lover..you'll find something delicious to enjoy. If you love French fries..and who doesn't...The Hat has a variety of fries cooked to order... some to consider: pastrami fries, chili fries, chili-cheese fries, gravy-covered fries, and more.. plus any other toppings you can think of.. like onion, tomato, pickles... and it goes on and on. Enjoy!“
“I walked in on a Saturday morning there was no line! the seats were full which is a good sign in my book! Parking was a bit of a struggle so just prepare to walk a block or so. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with swiss on a poppy seed bagel and it was out so fast! I prefer a fluffy egg with salty bacon and melty cheese and they delivered! It was a great price point and I'd definitely come back.“
“This bagel shop concept is so cool! I'm from NY and love a good bagel spot so this place felt like the perfect local gem. I met the owner Ryan he was super friendly! The speciality drinks sounded so yummy and seem like they're constantly trying new flavors. I want to come back for their ube latte and cereal latte! I noticed they had a pizza bagel and saw they have mini pizza boxes to put those specific menu item in-so clever! I love how the menu looks like a stock exchange board. Definitely worth stopping by and trying anything on their menu. So many options, so many ways to customize it. And there's lots of street parking up front or around the corner.“
“I like this place. The food here is still pretty good. not as amazing as it was when it first opened but pretty good. I came for Saint Patrick's Day this year and the service was excellent. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Our party had a lot of fun. Our 1st shepherd's pie didn't have any meat in it but they brought us another one and it was great. I got an Irish coffee. They gave me a paper cup, only filled it halfway and it was luke warm when they gave it to me. I didn't complain. I just drank it. But why did I give that guy a $5 tip for that lame drink? idk, I guess I was feeling festive LOL. I should have asked them to remake it. I think that's a theme here. I will say the place is good even if it's not good on the first try. Lol. just have them remake it and it will be better. It's also a fun atmosphere and decent drinks.“
“I had the breakfast plate with fried chicken. The breakfast plate comes with 2 eggs and choice of sauce (either sweet sauce or teriyaki sauce). There's a lot of food with just this dish. The chicken is covered in batter and you can choose how you want your eggs cooked. The chicken was good and the entire dish was decent. When you park and you're entering the restaurant there's a sign that says 'macadamia pancakes' so I definitely added the short stack (2 pancakes) to my meal. I had a few bites of the pancakes so I can enjoy the fluffiness and taste of the dish. The pancakes were huge and topped with cream and macadamia crumbles. Really tasty. Of course, I wasn't going to finish this during my visit and I took it home. After eating the chicken the following day I decided it was very oily because of the batter and the way it was cooked. The pancakes were still okay. I'm a little saddened because I really thought I would be wow'd by this place, but I wasn't. It wasn't bad or anything I just higher hopes. I would still come back and try the other items on the menu.“
“The food here is great- spinach ravioli with pink sauce, a side salad, and garlic bread hit the spot for real, served by people who really care, and enjoy the food as much as you do. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much. The environment is lovely and it's small, but warm, which is often times hard to do. Finding good Italian that is high quality and not too expensive is a feat, but Genoveses does the job.“
“Came here with my wife since we were in the area. I have to say the tortas are exquisite. If you live by the area I'm sure yall know what I'm talking about. If you're in the area for whatever reason I would recommend to stop by and give it a shot. Everything on the menu seems delicious! Oh and finally the horchata was bomb. 10/10 well done Spanglish Kitchen.“
“Came in about 30 minutes before closing. A couple others ahead of us in line. Only 2 staff members, one of them named: Sierra. Both employees were kind and efficient. Sierra particularly handled most of our order and she was amazing! She knew how to present the fruits (her design not pictured). Their açai bowls are my favorite from the menu! The açai and ube are delicious, and perfectly balanced with fhe unlimited toppings. Price + unlimited toppings + taste = 100% delicious! Definitely recommend!“
“I think this was our second time eating here...overall good experience! Usually we order fish & chips they're pretty good ? chicken strips as well..& the pastrami dip! They have a decent sized parking lot! And a bit of outdoor seating as well. Lot's of variety on the menu so def. good option for families or large groups! We will def be coming back soon!“
“I've been to this place a few times and what sets this brewery apart from others is the service. The owner is extremely nice and attentive. Beers are flavorful and set at a good price. I recommend this brewery over the other bar restaurant places on Main St.“
“It is truly a bar. In the best definition of the word. Beer was nice and cold. Mixed drinks were nice and string. The prices were great. I ordered the cheeseburger, which IMO was absolutely DELICIOUS! Definitely will be going back for dinner and a drink.“
“A solid boba spot with more than just boba on the menu.I had their brown sugar boba blast with red bean. It was delicious and a filling dessert, the flavor was excellent and the boba was delicious. Overall it was a great drink.I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items including their food offerings.“
“Rating: 4.2/5 This place is right across from tastea and has somewhat good parking. I have heard of this place but never gone until now. I decided to order the reservoir hog and later ordered the t-mex sausage dog. I heard from the cashier that the reservoir hog was a popular sausage dog that people get. Personally, I did not like that specific sausage. I liked the sausage itself and everything about it EXCEPT the damn mustard they put on top. I should've asked no mustard but I wanted the unedited sausage dog. I think the mustard overpowered the taste of the entire sausage dog, although I did get slivers of the sausage taste which was good and juicy. Wouldn't get it again though. To redeem myself, I got the t-mex sausage dog and shared it among friends and god I should've went with this first. It was spicy and juicy and their slaw just balanced it all out. It wasn't overly spicy but it had enough kick for me to like it. I tasted more of the sausage and it made me enjoy the dog even more. The fries were okay, can be shared between two people and it'll be enough (enough to be content). My friends got the old town and downtown dog and both said were pretty good choices. I didn't get to explore the bar and their beer on tap but they do have happy hour on sundays after 10pm(?) and Mon-Fri happy hour(don't know the time). The lighting is nice because it isn't overly bright but its not so dark where I can't see. Would I go here again for 11 dollar hot dogs? Probably! I do enjoy their sausage dogs so that's definitely a plus in my books since some places don't do that.“
“We came here not knowing what to expect. They are like a food court with different Mexican foods and snacks. There are soooo many different kinds of ice pops and ice cream! We got tacos, carne asada plate, a drink and a bionico. Everything was good. They ran out of funnel cake....“
“Pepe's is a long time restaurant establishment in Alhambra. I was glad that I finally got a chance to try it. It was a take out order. I ordered the breakfast burritos and my friend told me it tasted very good and I agreed. The Pepe's here is a self-serve style restaurant. They provide some basic tables and chairs for their customers to eat there and there is no waiter. So set your expectations accordingly. The reason I do not give them 5 stars is because they didn't give me exactly what I ordered. I ordered my food online it might have something to do with it.“
“What an amazing place for a first time experience to hot pot. The price its pretty accessible and the portions are quite good. They have a good variety of meats and sides. Including vegetarian options. For the premium size that they offer it's possible to share between 2 persons which makes it an even more affordable option. But they also have smaller options too.The ordering process is a bit different: scan a QR, type a ticket number, add and customize your order and finally pay by cash or zelle at the register ( they can see the orders in their system, just let them know you ticket #). But event tho it's a bit complicated the staff is super friendly and will walk you through the process or even do it for you. For me they even explained the flavor of each broth and ingredient. And made recommendations. The place is a bit small but very cozy with good music, have in mind that it receives a lot of people and preparation of your order can take a bit of time so I recommend to arrive early, even 5 minutes before opening.Overall an amazing place for new and returning people.“
“Ordered the Tallarin Verde con Bistec and the Jalea Mixta. The Tallarin Verde con Bistec is Peruvian pesto linguine topped with tender grilled milanesa cut. The meat was a bit chewy but flavorful and juicy. Paired with the vibrant pasta in thick pesto sauce, this was a delightful pick. The Jalea Mixta is a combination of crispy seafood and fish served with fried yucas, golden potatoes, sarza criotta, and tartar sauce. This is a plentiful dish of fried food. The mussels were nice and easy to take apart. The fried fish and squid rings were nicely done, not too overbattered and great with tartar sauce. To avoid the bloated feeling from the fried food, the purple onion salsa (salza criolla) helped to balance the flavors out. Location has its own parking lot which is convenient in downtown Alhambra. Ambiance is really nice with latin songs playing in the background. There is the option of indoor and outdoor tented seating and business picks up during the dinner rush.Parking: Observe any time limits in the area for street parking“
“Our family for thee dined here with my service dogs, they were very nice and helpful to arranged seats for usThe dishes portion is greatThe fresh juice and milkshakes are so tastyThe fried fish and fried rice are great tooWe had good time here“
“The food was very delicious, I ordered a cheeseburger ? with parents I live in El Paso TX and it has a different flavor my children ordered green chilaquiles with egg, pancakes, carnitas burrito very delicious and very friendly Mrs. and the cook I recommend “
“Solid spot for popcorn chicken. I used to love getting popcorn chicken at places like Quickly and Lollicup, but they just aren't the same anymore. You can even adjust the spicy level. The popcorn chicken even has basil! The drinks here are pretty solid as well. The green milk tea is fragrant. I got half sugar the other day, and it still tasted pretty sweet to me.The service is good. They offer you a paper menu to browse instead of staring up at the wall blankly. It is helpful that they have a list of top ten drinks because their menu is indeed extensive. It's hard to choose what to get.Wifi is free. Plenty of tables inside for studying. Parking is free and plentiful in the parking lot across the street. They do have a few spots on the street adjacent to the building, but they're usually taken.“
“The fish and pastor tacos are so delicious!Came on Taco Tuesday (fish tacos only) and Thursday (meat tacos only). Two fish tacos for $3.25, and you have to buy tacos in increments of 2. The same goes for the meat tacos, buy any meat taco but buy in increments of 2. I tried the fish, pastor, pollo, carnitas, and asada tacos. I enjoyed eating all of them. I especially enjoyed devouring the first 3.They have beverages as well. I got the jamaica, which was good. The items on the menu were pretty much decent in price. Bring cash or else pay the 3% card fee.Customer service was great and efficient. They have tables outside for dining and a self-serve section for jalapeño, onion, and lemon. The place can get busy. Some people eat in their cars. There's a small parking lot and also parking on the street.“
“Love the Polish Sandwiches although Wienerschnitzel definitely reduced the mass of both the Polski kielbasa as well as the very tangy pickle... but the taste and texture, aroma is all still there... coupons for those hardly happen anymore for thank goodness for Polish Dog Wednesdays!“
“Easily the best wine list in Alhambra and possibly the SGV and Pasadena area. If you're looking for a curated wine list with excellent European and American options served alongside a stacked food menu this is your spot. It's not cheap but the quality of the food and service is well worth the price. We've needed elevated dining in Alhambra for years and we finally have it with Yang's.“
