“I liked sichuan impression, but wasn’t a huge fan. Dishes were creative and tasty, but not outstanding, and the service was all electronic so although the staff were kind it didn’t feel very personal.”
“The food at Henry's restaurant is delicious, with top-quality ingredients. You can't get enough of the Vietnamese lobster noodles, and the beef tenderloin melts in your mouth. It never disappoints. You can try it, you will definitely like it!”

“This is an excellent neighborhood omakase spot. The space is airy and welcoming. Everyone was attentive and friendly. Has a parking lot. It was delicious. Portions are small but delicious. Would come again.”
“I’ve visited the one in Cerritos many times. This one is more traditional in terms of design and layout. The tables are a bit uncomfortable on two sides because the table jams into your leg. However, the food is to die for. The food is so good. Stop by and have some dim sum. The string beans are also amazing.”
“Absolutely delicious Uyghur food, which included incredible meat pie (goosh naan )hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, and fruit tea.it is a wonderful place for dinner. Highly recommended.”

“If you have never done hotpot before, make sure you come with someone who knows. They are not good at explaining or helping out.I would recommend to come with 4 people at least, this way you can order to share more things (meat, fish, vegetables, whatever you like).I had the gold broth (chicken soup broth) and their original broth (spicy level 1). It felt very spicy to me but I usually like mild. So it makes sense.”
“My favorite sushi place. The quality of their fish is great. The chirashi bowls are very generous and have a lot of flavor. The service is always very attentive and polite.Parking: There is a shared parking garage behind but it’s often full. You can find street parking on the side streets nearby.”
“The food was very authentic and delicious! Best authentic dan dan noodle I've tasted in the state. Home-made rice cake in brown sugar - made from real smashed rice.”

“Great savory breakfast. Staff is very friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. I come here every time I'm in town.Parking: Free parking behind restaurant, read signs as there are towed spots.”
“Not gonna lie... this Vietnamese cafe serving up pho as well as some other small and special dishes came up on my radar because I saw some fellow Yelpers go to an event here. The food looked/ sounded amazing and it's not too far from where I'm working at the moment. The service here is friendly and the decor /vibe feels and looks like a modern Vietnamese restaurant or cafe. I was really tempted to order the pho here, but opted for the butterfly pea sticky rice (or Xoi Thap Cam) instead. From the pictures, the dish looked beautiful and it's something I haven't had at Vietnamese restaurants in a long time. Also, I think I've had pho a few times around that time...(it's been cold) I also ordered the Bluegrass Lemonade to wash it down. The sticky rice dish had lots of delicious flavors and textures from all the different items. Such a fun dish that's presented very well and a delicious alternative to what probably gets ordered most here (the pho). Don't get me wrong, I definitely want to come back to try their pho as well, but was so happy to try the dish that I ordered. Place is located in a tiny lot/strip mall that was pretty close to a freeway. They have their own parking, but it might get tight. I think there may be street parking close by.”
“I've been wanting to try the southeast Asian food here for so long, and I'm glad I got the chance to recently! They earned the Michelin bib gourmand award for a couple years. They're also all over social media. I think the fact that they're so popular makes it hard to get seated here, and their hours were hard for me to work with (they're closed Wednesdays). The restaurant is hard to spot because they're within a medical/business building. You have to enter the driveway from a busy street and then right away make a U-turn to park underground. There is a stairway that connects the underground parking lot with the upstairs.I was here with only one other person, so we were able to get seated quickly. Between the two of us, we started with the roti canai with chicken curry (the server convinced us that it tasted better than the roti canai without curry) and the kaya toast with butter (again, the server convinced us that it tasted better with butter). Both indeed were very tasty. The curry chicken with the roti may have been unnecessary though. Then I had the dry wanton mee w curry chicken N1 $13.95. This curry chicken was delicious with the dark meat. I think they were very generous with the amount of noodles. My eating partner's Singapore style hainan chicken rice R1 $14.95 was ok, she said. To me it seemed like there was not a lot of chicken, but it is their signature dish/best seller.I would come back to try their other dishes and perhaps what they call white coffee. I might skip on the toast in the future because that's not really a meal to me.”

“Borneo Eatery specializes in Indonesian, Malaysian, and Singaporean cuisine. I ordered the Singaporean Laksa and Beef Randang plate: The Laksa was delicious! It's made with a strong shrimp broth based with light curry aftertaste; the addition of crispy fried shallots elevated the taste. The soup arrived pipping hot filled with generous ingredients of fish cake, tofu, shrimp, bean sprouts, corn... the house made egg noodles were amazing! Definitely get it with egg noodles. Very good I thought. The Beef Rendang was good, but I thought the beef shank was a little chewy, needed to be more tender. Overall flavor was good with all the components (fried tofu, curry egg, and spicy peanut anchovy) on the plate. Service was efficient and Ambiance is ok. The place looks renovated and very clean. Parking is easy peasy: park at the FREE parking structure behind the restaurant. Payment: Credit or Cash.”

“BEST Taiwanese beef noodle soup hands down! I've never been wow'd by Taiwanese beef noodle soup and this place was a first! They're a small shop but has some big tables for large groups. Food:- House special braised beef noodle (5/5): the soup is PACKED with flavor. Tendon is so soft. Noodle is perfectly cooked. - Braised pork rice (4/5): tender pork. Not too flavorful. Decent dish overall- Pig ears with red oil (4/5): on the less crunchy side but good flavor- Red oil wontons (2/5): both the wontons and chili oil lacked flavor”

“DONT ORDER GARLIC GREEN BEANS OVER THE PHONE.I get green bean drink desert every time, even after clarifying..." no not green bean drink .. green bean garlic dish".... 4 times in a row even when clarifying”

“This bakery was doing free, Easter cookie decorating kits for the kids. The presentation for the kids was really above and beyond but the real gem was the gentleman behind the counter. He was super nice and interacted with the kids in a really great way. I can’t wait to come back here again.”
“Shout out to the guy who delivered my drink to my car! It was super packed so I decided to wait for my drink in the car. When my drink was finished one of the workers came to my car to hand me my drink. I thought that was super nice and he went above and beyond. Also the cups are super adorable!”
“The food was very authentic and delicious! Best authentic dan dan noodle I've tasted in the state. Home-made rice cake in brown sugar - made from real smashed rice.”
“I like this place. The food here is still pretty good. not as amazing as it was when it first opened but pretty good. I came for Saint Patrick's Day this year and the service was excellent. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Our party had a lot of fun. Our 1st shepherd's pie didn't have any meat in it but they brought us another one and it was great. I got an Irish coffee. They gave me a paper cup, only filled it halfway and it was luke warm when they gave it to me. I didn't complain. I just drank it. But why did I give that guy a $5 tip for that lame drink? idk, I guess I was feeling festive LOL. I should have asked them to remake it. I think that's a theme here. I will say the place is good even if it's not good on the first try. Lol. just have them remake it and it will be better. It's also a fun atmosphere and decent drinks.”
“We tried a bunch of plates out between all the family, some plates we tried out were the am chowder, calamari rings, fish and chips, pulled pork sliders, sweet potato fries, asada fries and more I cannot remember the names of, but I did take pictures for your convenience. I also have all beers from the tap in pictures and videos.Overall, we were satisfied with service and portions that are OK for the prices. The staff was super friendly and quick, so I'd recommend you guys try them out.”
“Food is soooooo spicy.. It’s legit good. But also I personally couldn’t handle it. I have to find stuff here that’s not as spicy.I love the atmosphere. I was eyeballing all the plates of food coming out of the kitchen. So much I want to try”
Outdoor Dining
“Came around dinner time and there were no tables inside so we had to wait for a table. We stood for around 5 minutes before we got a table. The restaurant is small so I could see why it took a while to be seated. However, since the store is small, we ended up getting a table right by their side entrance door so we felt cold wind every time someone entered or exited. This made our dining experience not as enjoyable since it was a pretty chilly night so the wind was cold and interrupted the meal.We ordered the Filet Mignon Pho (15.5) and Shabu Shabu Style Beef Pho (15.5). They were served pretty fast which was good. The noodles and soup were alright, nothing super special from other pho places I have been too. The beef quality for both pho noodles we got were pretty good though. The meat wasn't tough to chew and was easy to bite and swallow. The shabu shabu style beef was nice and unique as well. It made the pho experience different than others. The portions are very generous though for the price. I could have shared it with another person because there was a lot of noodles.Overall, the pho here is pretty average and the only unqiue thing is their shabu shabu style pho option. Their service is also just normal, you have to go to the cashier to pay for your table at the end of the meal. I would recommend just coming here for a try.”
“The cashew vegetable stir fry was really good, as well as the egg fried rice. Lunch combo is good value, and fills you up. Somewhat of a small restuarant, but the atmosphere inside is pleasant.”
“Had the hainan chicken with dark meat. Sauces were delicious! Server was super nice and refilled our sauce trays with generous amounts. We let her know we had a flight to catch and she helped get us fed and on our way quickly. We made the flight ? Thank you!!”

“I lost my favorite local burger joint years ago... I couldn't find anything after that was delicious. I love visiting Alhambra/ S. Pasadena area and have seen Pharos countless times. I finally tried it for the first time last month and I have already been there four times after. It's definitely delicious and a neat place to enjoy your meal solo or with people. The staff are very friendly and assist very professionally. Not too many of the original burger places out there anymore that are good but Pharaohs is DEFINITELY a place to enjoy a delicious old fashioned burger! I look forward to trying more things on the menu!Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese and salads.Parking: I haven't had difficulty finding parking so far.Kid-friendliness: Meals for kids as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface to the entrance so it's very accessible.”
“Anytime we’re in the vicinity, we have to stop by for some fresh ice cream. This time, we also got their ice cream sandwiches - variety pack 6 for about $16 - good portion size and good value, same delicious ice cream.”
“Love love love the alhambra shakey's. We always get good food here and great service. I'm never disappointed. The chicken is fresh and crispy, and the pan pizza is hot, crispy, and with lots of toppings.”
“You never go wrong eating at The Hat! Whether you're a burger or sandwich lover..you'll find something delicious to enjoy. If you love French fries..and who doesn't...The Hat has a variety of fries cooked to order... some to consider: pastrami fries, chili fries, chili-cheese fries, gravy-covered fries, and more.. plus any other toppings you can think of.. like onion, tomato, pickles... and it goes on and on. Enjoy!”
“Hands down one of the most authentic Chinese food you can get in California.I ordered the Chili garlic pork slice, Kung Pao Chicken and the sweet and sour croaker fish. All of the flavors are pretty spot on, the only thing that I could point out is the texture of the pork slices are a bit soft. Not to mention for the food this quality the price is very reasonable compared to other Chinese restaurants that doesn’t have good enough flavors.Definitely a place I would go back to, probably by tomorrow.”
“One of my favorite Sichuan Pot in the area. They use plenty of food and sauce inside the broth. For the Fish fillet and Frog in Sichuan Mala Broth, it's the size for two people with many fish fillet and frogs inside the large pot. Though it's a little bit spicy, the proteins are pretty good with the fantastic taste. The staff told me that their boss asked them to add enough food to ensure customers' satisfaction. What a great experience of dining here. Attention to adjust the spicy level for any one of the pots.”
“A hidden gem in Alhambra for macadamian pancakes – a quaint spot with a laid-back vibe. The menu's simplicity adds charm, and the pancakes, though a tad heavy, are a delightful indulgence. The incredible cream topping elevates the experience, and while the coffee is decent, the overall ambiance ensures a memorable visit. Highly recommended for those seeking a cozy pancake haven.”
“If you go super early, there's no one there yet. It's awesome it felt like I rented out the entire restaurant. The food is great, if you're a fan of eggs Benedict then you'll love the selection. Though if you're getting the fried chicken one that one does that longer to make. Each one is served with a salad so a nice balanced diet.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, just read carefullyDietary restrictions: Did not notice vegan options specifically but you can always go with potatoes and saladsParking: Depends on what time you go, just a little walk there if you're going in the structure. Street parking if you're having a lucky day”
“It's In-n-Out, you get the same experience no matter the location. Food is reliable and delicious. The drive thru can be reminiscent of trying to get into Disneyland parking though, which isn't a real bother because they have signs everywhere guiding you where to go next. Flying Dutchman (no salt unless you are part sea creature) grilled whole onion x2 with black coffee is a travelers delight. No chance of falling asleep with that combo. ;)Wheelchair accessibility: They always have wheel chair accessibility.”
“The food here is great- spinach ravioli with pink sauce, a side salad, and garlic bread hit the spot for real, served by people who really care, and enjoy the food as much as you do. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much. The environment is lovely and it's small, but warm, which is often times hard to do. Finding good Italian that is high quality and not too expensive is a feat, but Genoveses does the job.”

You Kitchen
“2/18/24: 4.5/5Probably the best handmade dumplings and noodles I’ve had so far in LA and as good as most of the good local shops I’ve been to in China and Asia. Dumplings are hand made and kept in cold storage until cooked to order. Noodles are batched for dough and then rolled and hand cut fresh to order. The dumpling skins and wide noodles have the perfect Q bouncy chew texture. The dumplings can be either boiled, pan fried, or steamed. The shop doesn’t use MSG, which isn’t really a problem, but does mean their food is well balanced and just salty and savory enough. Their beef noodle soup is red braised and may appear lighter in color, but still packs a beefy flavor w/ perfectly cooked tender beef. Their in house sauces like spicy chili oil for wontons and hoisin sauce for beef roll are some of the best I’ve had and also well balanced. Definitely get the sesame pockets that have a nice thin crunchy shell. The pan fried buns are fluffy pillowy w/ a nice thin crispy bottom. The green onion pancake is good although just needed some salt. Think Noodle St still has the best beef roll pancake but You’s is pretty great still. And if you want a drink, try the fresh taro milk smoothie. The owner was super nice to talk to and service was great. You can order from the menu or they have a digital POS machine w/ Chinese+English and pictures.”

“Amazing food, friendly service! The waitress explained how everything was and was super friendly. The soup came very quickly and it was absolutely delicious. There are several soup base flavors, I picked the sour/spicy one which reminds me of pickled veggie with fish soup, which I absolutely love. They also have small dishes, the potato strips are the best I've had in the US so far, they were thin and soft and reminded me of China.Prices were reasonable too!”

“Upon arriving the service was great and the cashier was super nice. It was not super busy and we got our food pretty quickly. We were happy to sit on the second floor which was warm and comfortable. We are so gonna be regulars here. The Turkey sandwich slapped; I ate that sh*t up so fast I forgot to take a picture, so all I could photograph was the wrapper; it has a bite taken out of it. I'm super picky about sandwiches but this one made me happy. The power up smoothie had super refreshing lemongrass and ginger notes and the blended mocha was the perfect amount of sweet. My gf ordered a Cesar salad and she was devouring it so yummy she accidentally bit off part of the fork. I personally believe both of us eating part of the cutlery/packaging says a lot about our eagerness to get to the tasty food but I understand if you judge us a little bit. Overall 10/10 experience, would highly recommend.”
“Stopped in to order a Jiang Bing. We learned about this place months ago from a video on Instagram. This is our second time here and we really enjoy the fresh made to order food!”
“After checking the reviews, I found that the beef brisket rice is very delicious and the steamed buns are very traditional and tasty ~ I will come back again in the ”
“I love this place. The pots are good and excellent service. Come at least once a week if not twice. My favorite is beef medium with Vermicelli and black tea. ?Parking: Free public parking structure behind the restaurant. Only down size is 99% of the time the elevator is out of service. ?”
“Chinese family style dinner is served.Highlights of the menu:1. Shrimp & pork dumplings2. Stir fried shredded pork w noodles3. Steamed mini pork buns4. Cheese beef roll5. Shangdong style chicken6. Stir fried vegetables7. Cold mix of pig ears, beef tripe & dry tofu8. Hot & sour soup w pork”
“Loved this spot. I have previously been to one in LA, which is good too but can get crowded. Each person gets their own individual burner and bowl, so no one has to reach over each other. There was no wait time to be seated, and the food was delicious. The only negative thing I can say is it seemed there were only two servers and they seemed overwhelmed. Not cool. I'm not sure if it was just that day or if they are short staffed. So be aware. Other than that, it is a great place to grab lunch or meet with friends and family.”
“There's a self order kiosk, or you can talk to the worker to order. The chicken sandwich is flavorful, meat is juicy, and such a massive portion. Prices were not crazy either and pretty inexpensive. Fries were a little oversalted and not evenly seasoned but not bad.Parking: There is a decently big row of parking spots behind the building, but it can get busy as the day goes on.”
“Pretty good takeout option if you’re craving Indian food in the area. The samosas are crispy on the outside and soft/boldly flavored on the inside. Their homemade mango lassi is fantastic, rich yogurt base with a fruity blend. Naan is fluffy and fresh, and the curry is well flavored with tender meat. Curry doesn’t include rice like most places I’ve found nearby, and the prices of each item does add up—it’s not a cheap meal especially if you’re dining in for dinner. But overall would recommend and come back.”
“Ordered the Tallarin Verde con Bistec and the Jalea Mixta. The Tallarin Verde con Bistec is Peruvian pesto linguine topped with tender grilled milanesa cut. The meat was a bit chewy but flavorful and juicy. Paired with the vibrant pasta in thick pesto sauce, this was a delightful pick. The Jalea Mixta is a combination of crispy seafood and fish served with fried yucas, golden potatoes, sarza criotta, and tartar sauce. This is a plentiful dish of fried food. The mussels were nice and easy to take apart. The fried fish and squid rings were nicely done, not too overbattered and great with tartar sauce. To avoid the bloated feeling from the fried food, the purple onion salsa (salza criolla) helped to balance the flavors out. Location has its own parking lot which is convenient in downtown Alhambra. Ambiance is really nice with latin songs playing in the background. There is the option of indoor and outdoor tented seating and business picks up during the dinner rush.Parking: Observe any time limits in the area for street parking”
“The food was very delicious, I ordered a cheeseburger ? with parents I live in El Paso TX and it has a different flavor my children ordered green chilaquiles with egg, pancakes, carnitas burrito very delicious and very friendly Mrs. and the cook I recommend ”
“This is my go-to place for Cantonese-style wonton noodle soup. The noodles has that smooth and "crispy" or al dente texture that you want with wonton noodles vs the over-boiled, starchy or floury textured noodles that many other restaurants use. Their wontons also taste freshly made and are of a good size, not small, with good shrimp and pork meat ratio. There are six wontons per noodle soup order. I always like to order extra noodles for an extra meal since their noodles are so good and wontons are nice and healthy portions. Other places typically gives you five or less and are usually small in size, not freshly made or don't have good filling ratio. The latter may be a personal preference. I used to order the wonton noodles for dine-in during breakfast hours pre-pandemic and it comes with a free hot tea or milk tea but just order it to go now-a-days so don't know if the breakfast experience is still the same. Came here recently for dinner just to have a bowl of wonton after returning from a trip to Taiwan. My sis and mom ordered additional toppings with their wonton noodles. My dad order his nalstalgic salted dried fish fried rice which was surprisingly very tasty and comforting after a long plane ride.”

“Best service. Food tastes fresh. And the presentation is beautiful. Reasonable prices. This is one of the best sushi restaurants. I've been this in this area. ? My kids loved it, too!”
“My favorite shabu in town, it's not ayce but food is fresh. You order through QR codes and seems like there is no wait staff sometimes, but I am here for there quality dishes and their happy hour menu is very tasty!”

“Today I had Lunch here and everything was excellent. The costumer service, the food, the environment. The place looked clean and organized. Good job to the team .”
“Came on a Wednesday at about 11 am. Big parking lot and huge seating availability to include outdoor seating.Waitress was friendly. She was a bit busy but not overwhelmed. The restaurant was at about 60% capacity. The food was good. Coffee pots are ridiculously small. Our ketchup bottle was empty, but nothing serious. Recommend the French Toast. The biggest turn-off bathroom was tiny compared to the giant dining area.”
“Went there pretty late night. The dude that helped me was very nice. And good looking if I might add! ? he wasn't grumpy at all with me and the food was made pretty quick! Definitely a good place for a quick late night snack!”
“I've been visiting the drive thru for the past few days around the same time after midnight. It's kinda busy, but the young man by the name of Damian has kept a positive attitude and a sweet smile, greeting me and making sure that I get my condiments.”
“Fries were cold. Didn't have my drink ready when I ordered the food on the app. The girl who attended the orders seemed like she didn't wanna be there. Bad day I guess but this was my most recent experience. Food was decent if you know any fast food chain it's a hit or miss anywhere so it is what it is.”

“We love the food and the couple that owns the restaurant. They are friendly hard working people.Parking: The parking is in the back. They have about 3 or 4 spots available. But there is free street parking in the front and a free parking lot that is walking distance with plenty of parking spots available usually.Kid-friendliness: They are kid and family friendly. Our kids love the farfalle pasta, and our waitress.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp from the parking lot to the restaurant, great for wheelchairs and strollers. They have enough space in the restaurant to fit with a stroller without being an inconvenience to others.”

“My family had an amazing time eating here for the first time. The food was delicious; no issues there. The service was great; very friendly. Unfortunately, we had three servers in the span of two hours and no one explained each bag we were purchasing was by pound/weight. We thought it would be pieces of lobster and crab but we received a whole lobster and crab. We felt embarrassed to return the food because all server's were very nice but we do not believe any of them explained the portions to us correctly. We expect the bill to be hefty but about four bills at Boiling Crab?”

“My favorite sushi place. The quality of their fish is great. The chirashi bowls are very generous and have a lot of flavor. The service is always very attentive and polite.Parking: There is a shared parking garage behind but it’s often full. You can find street parking on the side streets nearby.”
“So I have ordered Takeout & Dined In before countless times due to the food and customer service being absolutely AMAZING & DELICIOUS! Each time I order, I'm never disappointed by the quality of the food. Also, packaging for takeout is perfect it never spills! I love this Ramen spot a lot and noticed I never wrote a review so it was time to do so. <3”
“We ate here last weekend and were so glad we did. The Pork Vermicelli bowls were delish! I want to post a photo if I figure out how? The server was very friendly and the food came out very fast.”
“Finally got to try this place! And now I know why there's always a long line. There's a lot of drinks on the menu but my favorite is the longan jujube tea.”
“I always pick up the #8 bahn mi and its the best! They always have more meat and vegetables than any other bahn mi place. The meat is flavorful soft and tender. Service is fast pricing is fair couldn't ask for more.”
“Very nice bagel place very clean you can watch TV they have big screens in their very nice very professional very respectful very polite and very clean place and very good bagels give him ”
“I tried many Indonesian restaurants in the area before and hands down this Wayang restaurant offers the best and most authentic Indonesian foods. I just love the wonderful combination of flavors and fragrances from the tropical spices used in the cooking. Additionally, the owner Lily is very friendly and attentive to all guests. She makes sure everybody is satisfied. It's always been a great pleasure dining at this place. Highly highly recommended! You should definitely give it a try.Vegetarian options: Gado gado ( steamed veggie salad with peanut sauce, tofu and rice cake) is one of the best vegetarian dishes anybody should try ( whether they're vegetarian or not). So yummy!”
“I used to eat here often when I worked in Alhambra. I was in the area and decided to eat dinner with my daughter here. The ramen was just as good as I remember. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends over the years and I'm happy the quality of their food is still very good!I wish I could've met Akiko and her mom to complete my trip down memory lane.”
“Very good food. I had the eggplant Parmesan, and it did not disappoint. It was very good and I would order it again. The side salad was excellent; very tasty and flavorful. The garlic cheese bread was excellent, fresh and warm. My buddy had the meatball spaghetti and he said it was very good. I ordered medium cheese pizza to take home; fresh and delicious. Also, the size was more like an extra large and a medium. And dessert was very good, I got the ice cream. The average plate is about $20 but it’s worth it. I would definitely go back for another meal.Parking: Free parking, but not a lot of parking spaces.”
“I really enjoy their sauces. I usually get the sweet and spicy sauce. SO SAUCY!!! I like the honey garlic too. I love the hunks of garlic used.Oh, and I LOVE the pickled radish. Such a perfect bite with the chicken!”
“Food is always delicious with amazing service! Staff is very friendly and always greet us with a friendly smile. Highly recommended their food. Parking lot is small is sometimes difficult to find parking but the food is worth it.”
“Mikomi Japanese Restaurant in Alhambra has seamlessly filled the shoes of its predecessor, EMC, offering a refreshing take on Japanese cuisine. During a recent lunch visit, we indulged in their lunch bento box, which showcased their mastery of flavors, particularly evident in the beef and chicken teriyaki dishes. The sweet teriyaki glaze perfectly complemented the tender meat, leaving a lasting impression. Beyond lunch, Mikomi's happy hour menu steals the spotlight, with discounted sushi and other favorites enticing diners to return time and again. In addition to their delectable offerings, Mikomi shines in the realm of service. The staff's attentiveness and professionalism enhance the dining experience, making guests feel welcomed and valued. However, navigating the parking situation can pose a challenge, as the restaurant shares the shopping mall with numerous popular eateries and stores like Sprouts. Despite this minor inconvenience, Mikomi Japanese Restaurant stands out as a must-visit destination in Alhambra, offering exceptional cuisine and top-notch service that keep patrons coming back for more.”
“I love their Saisons and the soul ejector is delicious! Friendly cool little spot and owner is totally chill. Parking structure near by. I’ll definitely be back!”
“Absolutely love this place. Located in the heart of Alhambra and on the corner of the intersection. Large parking lot located in the back, but it can fill up during busy hours. The meat was terrific and the self serve items were numerous. I really liked that the drinks and soft serve ice cream were self serve as well. Plenty of tables inside and kept clean. I really wish they were open a little later. I’m sure they have bathrooms, but I didn’t see where they were. I’ll definitely be going back as often as I’m in the area.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I think this was our second time eating here...overall good experience! Usually we order fish & chips they're pretty good ? chicken strips as well..& the pastrami dip! They have a decent sized parking lot! And a bit of outdoor seating as well. Lot's of variety on the menu so def. good option for families or large groups! We will def be coming back soon!”
“Pepe's is a long time restaurant establishment in Alhambra. I was glad that I finally got a chance to try it. It was a take out order. I ordered the breakfast burritos and my friend told me it tasted very good and I agreed. The Pepe's here is a self-serve style restaurant. They provide some basic tables and chairs for their customers to eat there and there is no waiter. So set your expectations accordingly. The reason I do not give them 5 stars is because they didn't give me exactly what I ordered. I ordered my food online it might have something to do with it.”
“I love the mung bean milk tea! Only place I've seen with it so far. Best part is the actual mung bean in the drink. My favorite milk tea in the SGV.Fair warning, this place used to be a KFC so the parking is horrific. However this means they have a drive-thru.”
“I have been in many Cane restaurants with the same issues, dirty restrooms, floors with napkins, food crumbs, sticky, and unattended tables. But this location surprised me, restrooms were clean, spotless tables, the restaurant looked very well over all, the lady on the register was cleaning tables while there were no people on the line ! Excellent job, everyone ?”
“Wonderful service, i came in around 9:50am as i was waiting for Petsmart to open and i was a little hungry so i purchased two bean burritos and a small drink. It was a great experience, the restaurant was clean and the staff were very quick to fill my order and they were also very polite. This was a 5 star experience for me.”
“Our family for thee dined here with my service dogs, they were very nice and helpful to arranged seats for usThe dishes portion is greatThe fresh juice and milkshakes are so tastyThe fried fish and fried rice are great tooWe had good time here”
“I ordered a fish basket to go during my visit. Fish is deep fried but the same time texture of the fish could have been cooked evenly with batter cooked covering.Parking: Very minimum places for parking. Available parking is street parking”
“This was my time here. I got the barbecue veggie dog. It was pretty good. The barbecue is was made it tasty. It wasn't busy when we arrived so the service was pretty fast. I definitely want to try more options next time.”
“As with any food rating, take it with a grain of salt. But the place was super clean and the people were typically efficient.Parking: A small amount coincides with the small eating area. Mainly for drive thru.”
“I really enjoy this place it reminds me of my trip to the island. I enjoy the pulled pork and the BBQ chicken. I come here monthly to remind me of what I'm missing out on. The chicken and beef plate is probably the best deal here.”
“My new favorite coffee house, food is great, service is fast and accurate, the atmosphere is relaxing, and they are always packed, but they are fast so you come in and out in no time... love it!”
“Great tasting and priced teriyaki chicken, fish, beef, and more. I ordered the 2 items with salad and teriyaki chicken and beef . I also tried the shrimp with rice special, and that was really good as well. Clean store and fast and friendly service.Sadly, we don't have any of these in Colorado, so I make sure to stop by here when visiting California.”
“Went into Albertsons and ended up going to the Starbucks was greeted by a young gentleman called Varian. I was undecided on my drink and asked for a recommendation. Very knowledgeable and helpful. My drink came out really good and definitely would come back for the service.”
“WHY WOULD ANYONE GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR FAST FOOD? LOOK AT MY TASTEY WHOPPER WITH CHEESE & LOOK AT ALL THAT LETTUCE TOMATOES AND I ASKED FOR EXTRA ONIONS. THE PATTY HERE ACTUALLY IS REAL BEEF IT TASTED LIKE BEEF AT OTHER FAST FOODS SOMETIMES IT DOES NOT EVEN LOOK LIKE REAL MEAT AND DEFINITELY TASTES FUNNY. I LOVED MY WHOPPER FROM BURGER KING. ? PLENTY OF PARKING CLEAN RESTROOMS AT THIS LOCATION.”
“I enjoyed my order but we went there for spicy chicken its fantastic they ran out of spicy chicken that is how much people love there chicken. Maybe next time.Parking: Its located inside of a plaza.Kid-friendliness: Your entire family will enjoy going here.Wheelchair accessibility: You can park in front of Jollibee.”
“The food and service was excellent. The ONLY thing is the WATER! I don’t know why but there an odd taste to it. I thought it was only me, but I’ve brought several friends here and they all have the same comment about the water. Other than that I can’t complain.”
“After checking the reviews, I found that the beef brisket rice is very delicious and the steamed buns are very traditional and tasty ~ I will come back again in the ”

Tasty Pot
“I love this place. The pots are good and excellent service. Come at least once a week if not twice. My favorite is beef medium with Vermicelli and black tea. ?Parking: Free public parking structure behind the restaurant. Only down size is 99% of the time the elevator is out of service. ?”
Cheap Eats
“Delicious noodles, I loved the original mee!! The fried chicken ? is tender and amazing! Wonton soup was perfect and wontons were tasty!! Pork belly was outstanding!!”
“It's in the namesake, so get the bibingka's! Very unassuming place located within the 99 Ranch. You wouldn't expect it to be here, but it definitely punches above its weight! Good food, good prices! Love it!”
“It's my first time eating there and I really loved it. It's tasty and cheap. But above all, what I liked most was the kindness with which they treated me, without a doubt I will return to this place when I return on vacation.”
“Came here with my wife since we were in the area. I have to say the tortas are exquisite. If you live by the area I'm sure yall know what I'm talking about. If you're in the area for whatever reason I would recommend to stop by and give it a shot. Everything on the menu seems delicious! Oh and finally the horchata was bomb. 10/10 well done Spanglish Kitchen.”
“Came in about 30 minutes before closing. A couple others ahead of us in line. Only 2 staff members, one of them named: Sierra. Both employees were kind and efficient. Sierra particularly handled most of our order and she was amazing! She knew how to present the fruits (her design not pictured). Their açai bowls are my favorite from the menu! The açai and ube are delicious, and perfectly balanced with fhe unlimited toppings. Price + unlimited toppings + taste = 100% delicious! Definitely recommend!”
“They are very attentive considering it’s very busy. The staff is courteous and friendly. My daughter said to me we found our new go to for breakfast. And we agreed. See you soon.”
“My go-to was the Dirt Dog in Pasadena, but sadly it was closed. Dog Haus is a relatively good alternative when we are craving chili dogs. Also, a good place for tater tots and beer too!”
“One day Lollicup will reopen the customer table area. This company has great products, which is why they are one of the biggest suppliers for other milk tea businesses. It's not a surprise that Lollicup has a great consumer focused store/products.Excellent drinks, pudding, and boba.Great service.Clean interior.I wish they would open up the dine-in area again :(”
“This is my go to bakery for birthday cakes and Asian baked goods. The birthday cakes here are never too sweet which is always a good sign and the frosting is a very light whipped frosting, also not too sweet. The pricing for these cakes are pretty average. Anywhere from $35-$50. Crepe cakes are pricier. I always come here to get baked goods for my family, and I love that they have rewards programs. Many different varieties to choose from all. The service here is great and the staff at the register are always so kind and helpful. They get the line moving pretty quickly. Bakery is decently sized. no dining just a quick grab andgo. But the ladies here work efficiently and utilize all the available space to package your baked goods. Inside is bright and clean.”
“My second time trying the breakfast here and i regret not reviewing the first time! Pretty quick service stopped by around 830am...def a good pit stop for a quick bite for someone like me who's always on the road and in a rush! You can order ahead to save even more time..but will definitely be coming back with my kids soon! I ordered a breakfast platter to go with Bacon, eggs, sausage, and french toast! It was nice n fluffy ?”
“It is truly a bar. In the best definition of the word. Beer was nice and cold. Mixed drinks were nice and string. The prices were great. I ordered the cheeseburger, which IMO was absolutely DELICIOUS! Definitely will be going back for dinner and a drink.”
“I ordered a cake for my mom's 75th birthday and it was exactly as I requested. Prior to placing my order, I searched other bakers and the pricing was so expensive and the reviews weren't great. I'm glad I found One & One while searching Yelp and it's just down the street from my house! The cake was moist, light, delicious, and went quickly! I will be making all of my future cake purchases from One & One!”
“Drove by this place a lot while we went shopping at Good Fortune Market across street. My husband is a big fan of pan fried buns so we decided to check it out. Before came here, I looked at their menu and it had extensive and authentic flavors for dumplings and pies. That’s how I knew they were legit!!We came on a rainy Saturday around 11:30am there were only two other tables. I feel on a nice day it would be busier. For food we got:- pork scallion pie (5/5). Wowwwww a must try!! It was so juicy and flavorful. The outside is perfectly crispy. This is our favorite and we definitely will try other flavors next time.- pan fried chicken mushroom dumplings (5/5). I love the dumpling skin as you can taste the slightly chew and that’s how you know it’s handmade!- cucumber salad (5/5). Very refreshing and balance out the richness of all the fried dumplings.- pan fried bun (4/5). This is probably my least favorite although it’s still pretty good. It doesn’t have much juice as I thought it would like the pie. So I’ll stick with the pies next time.No fuss service. You order via QR code and food comes out around 10-15 minutes. They have a sign to explain the 15 min wait due to all handmade to order which is well worth it!! This has become our new go-to for weekend brunch.”
“A solid boba spot with more than just boba on the menu.I had their brown sugar boba blast with red bean. It was delicious and a filling dessert, the flavor was excellent and the boba was delicious. Overall it was a great drink.I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items including their food offerings.”
“We got ourselves some tea after eating pho next door and my go to is the grapefruit green tea and love their new maple story collaboration with the cute cups, though I never played that game in middle school. Love how quick the service was.”

A-ME KITCHEN
“March 2024 - Party of 6 on a Saturday around 12:30 p.m. No wait.Food/Pricing - See receipt pic for pricing. The food was good considering the price. Slightly salty though, had to drink much water. Portions were good and the whole family was full by the end of it.Service/Ambiance - Service was friendly and attentive. The food came up quickly and requests were fulfilled promptly. Depending on which table you sat at, it could be slightly cramped but it's manageableParking - Plenty of parking in the back. It was packed but they have a second floor lot so finding a spot wasn't bad.”
“Been here for a work luncheon and was compelled to come back because the food was good. I decided to come back here to pre-party with the bestie before I sent her off to Granada to do her salsa thang on a Saturday night. IT was packed. However, I love that it's quaint, modern, and clean! I was able to snag two seats at the bar and order some wines. I had the red flight which had 3 reds (from CA wineries) for $15. When the bestie came, we ordered a bottle of Prosecco for $35 so that was a steal. I had a beer after and everything was fine in terms of drinks. Nothing out of ordinary, but I was glad there wasn't anything that made me regret swallowing. It's a cute, casual wine bar that isn't there to super impress like it has a secret wine vault with wallet-killing wines, but I like the fact that it supports native California wineries with reasonable pricing! It's definitely NOT a place to host large parties, but good for parties of 4 or under. I will come back again since they close at 11pm. They have a small menu of entrees, bites and cheese/charcuterie bites. It's meant to be a wine bar, DUH! :) I will be back for another good, low-key time!”
“Great food, I know that there isn't that much reviews at the moment but it's a new restaurant. The skewers are delicious and the ambience is amazing. If you go you got to try the yuzu shots, pretty strong and really really good. My whole group gets the 24 pack and it's always a good time”

“Love love love the alhambra shakey's. We always get good food here and great service. I'm never disappointed. The chicken is fresh and crispy, and the pan pizza is hot, crispy, and with lots of toppings.”
“I went recently. However, the ownership & menu changed. No more alcohol. :( I wish the new owner good luck, but I think she may have to bring back some of the old options in cuisine so she does not lose the old clientele. Just a suggestion.”
“Me and my family have been coming to Vitorias for years. Any big event that has occurred in our lives has automatically been in Vitorias. Today was nothing different. In the 15 years of us coming, the food has had the same excellent quality, and the best tasting pizza in Alhambra. Will forever be coming generations and generations to come. Thank you constantly for making our lives so much brighter. Best wishes.”
“Definitely worth a visit! Great Pho/broth, fresh ingredients, fair prices & decent service. The restaurant is clean and welcoming too. I recommend Nr. 23Parking: Right in front of the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: No stairs”
“Their teas were good and their service was great. I initially did not like the egg waffle because it was sloppy and obviously not worth $6.50, the staff gave it to me then walked away. Before I could say anything else, another staff member ( I think it was the owner) came up and offered to make me another one crispy and nice. Thank you.”

“The cashew vegetable stir fry was really good, as well as the egg fried rice. Lunch combo is good value, and fills you up. Somewhat of a small restuarant, but the atmosphere inside is pleasant.”
“Usually the food is consistent, but this location had very small portions and was out of the basics...tortillas and green salsa. The staff was not fazed at all... sort of "take it or leave it". Maybe I'll give them another try at some later date.”
“Ask him if delicious the choices are the only the only issue I have is the wait. The wait is extremely long at times but I guess if you want something good. I guess you gotta wait a little bit.”
“I come here 2/3 times a week, I sometimes order in person other times online but it’s always a great experience. William, Miguel and Fabian are always working and happy to help with a smile on their faces. They should definitely be recognized for making blaze pizza a great place to go to and I’m sure to work at as well.”

“Anytime we’re in the vicinity, we have to stop by for some fresh ice cream. This time, we also got their ice cream sandwiches - variety pack 6 for about $16 - good portion size and good value, same delicious ice cream.”
“There are many kinds of food. You can choose the food you like. The food is hygienic, clean and fresh. These are some of the food. Have you taken any pictures? Lunch is 19.99. I have never had dinner. I don’t know if it is more expensive than lunch.Dietary restrictions: Dietary taboos depend on each person’s physique and habits.Parking: This business is doing pretty well, but sometimes it’s hard to find a parking space.Kid-friendliness: Children's food options available”

“Great savory breakfast. Staff is very friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. I come here every time I'm in town.Parking: Free parking behind restaurant, read signs as there are towed spots.”
