Not sure why this place had not so great reviews, but my experience was excellent ! I had caldo de Reyes and it hit all the feel good spots in my tummy. Large chunks of meat and veggies in a flavorful broth. Yum. My partner had a giant tostada that was tasty! Cashier was the server and came to check on us, which I thought was amazing since she shouldn't have to do 2 jobs. It's a small spot and worth trying out.
We used to come here as a child when it was Rancho Grande... now I'm sure new ownership and maybe new recipes but I stopped on my way passing through for the first time since I was a kid and I was very happy with my experience! The staff was kind. And the food was very authentic, flavorful and fast service. Good flavor on the asada, fresh hand made tortillas were so good, flavorful rice and beans and I loved their salsa!
