“Food was great ordered the M2 seafood deluxe however it does not come neatly like the old photos . My shrimp was buried under everything . A positive is they currently give a pound of crawfish free if you order the m2 .Also dissapointing is they asked what drinks we would like my friend and kid ordered 2 cokes but unknowingly to us the m2 was supposed to come with a liter of soda so i was charged extra for the drinksI'd comeback the food was great and mistakes happen.“

I appreciate it that only because some Thai restaurants have dishes that are standard spicy and that can be hard for little kids to eat. I ordered the yellow curry which tastes yummy but my only critique on that was it was slightly too sweet in my personal opinion. I love that everything here is pretty affordable. “The people and environment are so welcoming, and the food is beyond awesome. I got their fish taco, shrimp taco and potato taco, it was all excellent and they are pretty big too. My husband got their Baja taco which is on a flour tortilla and is excellent and their San Lucas ceviche and this thing is so hot but it is so mouthwatering delicious ?. We have definitely found our new seafood spot and will be going again soon to try their other food items. The price was also great for the quality and quantity of food you get. “I've been coming here since a friend's suggestion last year and I am never disappointed in the slightest. Every piece of sushi I've had is so fresh and flavorful. They apparently get a lot of their fish straight from Japan.My favorite appetizers are the steamed abalone and monkfish liver. I would be happy only eating those, but you would be crazy to not get the omakase here. I got the garlic buttered clams on the house one time and it was also delicious.My very first visit had a long wait time outside but nowadays I just call in advance to reserve a seat. This is my first choice for sushi in Southern California.Dietary restrictions: They ask about any dietary restrictions in advance.“

“Fish Taco Wednesdays, yes please! Their battered fish tacos are very decently sized and at a discounted price, they're even more yummy! The toppings of cabbage and pico de gallo is generous enough without making the battery soggy. Be sure to ask for more crema on the side, everything is so delicious. The potato tacos are also a good choice (but I don't think they have a discounted price on this one). Prices are decent, credit cards are accepted and there's plenty of parking.“

“This is my third time returning to this place. The food ingredients are fresh, especially for a Taiwanese restaurant. It's a bit pricey, but understandable for authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Their tea pot is superior compared to other Asian restaurants; the quality of the tea is noticeably better. We ordered sesame oil kidney, cucumber salad, dragon beard salad, beef noodle soup, and Three Cup Chicken. Their beef noodle is Michelin three stars. If you prefer spicy or salty flavors, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you prefer freshness, it's a good choice. I'll definitely continue to visit here.“

There is a small parking lot, but it is uneven. Be careful with friends on wheels. The interior is dim. There is a sushi bar, but there are also tables that can accommodate larger parties.Lunch is a good time to go because it's not nearly as crowded as dinner time and the price is lower. They do charge extra for take out. I have to say I was really satisfied with the quality of the sashimi. I also love hamachi kama, so I will have to try that next time!“

“So while I was on my way back from Oceanside last night, decided to stop by this spot on the way home! Place was empty when I arrived since it was kind of late and they are open late! All the employees were friendly and I decided to orded the New York Strip a la carte. The food took about 10 minutes to prepare and they also provided me some sauces to try! The New York strip was delicious and tender. I wish the portion size was a little bigger but what can you do? Overall, a solid spot to check out!“

“The best Mexican food we've found in the area. I'm from San Antonio and my wife is from East L.A. So, no strangers to authentic Mexican food.We have lived in the Diamond Bar/Walnut area for 40-years. We've eaten at De Oro many times, tried many different menu items, and we have never been disappointed.I realize people have different tastes in food, different expectations, and different experiences when dining out. I feel bad for the folks who had a disappointing experience at De Oro.The staff is always friendly towards us and if they are busy and running slow, they apologize to us and bring us more tortilla chips.We know if there are a lot of customers or if they have a lot of to-go orders, it's going to take more time than usual. We are old and retired, but not everyone has the time or patience to wait and they leave a negative review.We have tried many Mexican restaurants in the area. I won't mention the ones we didn't like because, it's a matter of personal taste.Xavi's in Chino Hills was my favorite, but I haven't eaten there since before the pandemic. I expect they are still great. Pepe's in Hacienda Heights, The Durango in Brea (they didn't survive the 2020 shut down), the big Juancho's restaurant in Ontario (I don't know if they are still there), the small Juancho's cafe in Chino Hills is good for a quick take-out (they used to be better before Covid and they had to remove the "help yourself" bean pot), The Whole Enchilada in Diamond Bar before the demographics changed causing them to shut down, and Kalaveras. I can't be sure if it's the food I like or the atmosphere. I always have fun no matter which one I eat at, but I particularly like the small hole-in-the-wall one in Montebello.If anyone knows a better place in the area for Mexican food, I'd like to know.“

“The Black Marlin is one of the best spots for oyster lovers in OC! I came here for their Monday all day $1 oyster special. In some $1 oyster restaurants I've been to, prices were cheap but the oysters we received were tiny. That was not the case here! I was surprised by the size and quality of the oysters, and it did not feel like they sacrificed quality for their oyster special. The service was quick and pleasant as well! Just some quick constructive criticism: stinkiest restroom I have ever been in ?. Overall, I would still highly recommend The Black Marlin for some nice oysters.“
