“Delicious food wow! we finished everything !!! The Seafood is great quality here! The Cajun sauce is nice and fresh you can tell it's made with love... The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is very clean I recommend the half sampler it was nice and filling for 2! Great for couples This place is definitely a Family friendly restaurant! (: we took our 1 year old and Lanny our server even went as far as giving our baby fruit snacks and oranges so he can also have a meal! Lanny helped us out she was so nice and attentive she refilled our drinks without having to flag her down as well and kept checking on us if we needed anything We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant when we are in the area! Don't miss out ! Check them out“

“I’ve eaten here a few times on my Disney trips. I usually get the Monte Cristo sandwich because it’s so yummy! So I can’t say much about other items. Big enough to share. The fries are delicious and beignets are always a treat!Service is good. There’s a few gluten free options my sister likes, you can get the monte cristo sandwich gluten free but they need 24 hours in advance so if you get a reservation make sure to let them know if you’re wanting this dish.“

“Being a conscientious critic and providing my critique, I have to weigh and address the obvious elephant in the room first. Being one who has eating at this establishment many times previous to the remodel, I have to fairly compare when critiquing. The previous look of the location was hands down more appealing and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, ears, mouth and soul. The designer they hired, obviously had a bland modern eye and lack of classic New Orleans flair that is needed to make a change but keep it amazing. The old look was timelessly southern niche and had that old world courtyard feel that anyone who has visited New Orleans loves. They sterilized it with hard lines and modern bland looks, trying to infuse Orleans with California, hard fail. The wall murals and some of the decor remained and that saved it a tad. The entry courtyard was stripped of it’s charm and gave a “back entry to a commercial building” feel. With a random orange patio chairs surrounding cheap tables, patio warmers and no eye catching decor, left one feeling hard pressed to justify the high price tag awaiting their wallets. To our dismay, the decor wasn’t the only thing to suffer the wrath of the modern stripping of one’s old Jazz Kitchen self, the menu suffered as well. It seemed to have taken a hit on selection and authentic southern style cuisine choices and flavors. Missing was the classic gumbo pot boing over with amazing spicy flavors that permeate the souls before even your first bite. Plated well for aesthetics, the meal itself lacked that washboard and creole vibe that you expect from a southern inspired eatery. With so many restaurants struggling with identity and uniqueness that sets them apart, Jazz Kitchen fell victim here. $35 for some basic noodles with cheese and chicken claiming to be spicy, it was a disappointment for sure. When one pays $24 for a hamburger and a handful of fries, that burger should sing on your tongue and make you cry yum, again, sadly disappointed. The music ambiance was delightful and the remaining wall art and inside decor offered a pleasing experience, so I would recommend, eating inside if possible. The drinks were made well and had a good poor to them providing a great mix of flavors and kick. The beignets were hot, fluffy and delicious. A tad on the oily side, but nonetheless, delicious. Overall, the real disappointment here was the overhaul and name change, that they envisioned to be a great thing, only to fall a little flatter than I agree with. Don’t come expecting authentic New Orleans cuisine and flair, this isn’t Tianna’s down on the Bayou experience you would expect while visiting a Disney Parks location. That you’re going to need to go inside the park for!“

“Truly a wonderful experience eating here. I got their spicy crispy pork rice, and only wish I could’ve eaten a bit more. Then I got their dessert: the mango with sticky rice and bah god it was a heaven sent. I felt my soul had been cleansed, as if my diarrhea from the night before had become a purified memory. Also, my server was very cultured and friendly, even naming the dessert in my own language that I didn’t know the name of. Very grateful to have dined here, and would come here more often once I am no longer jobless and scraping pennies off of random openings in thrown-away couches!“

“We ate at Blue Bayou while visiting Disneyland and it was pretty cool. I remember seeing the tables when I was a little kid riding Pirates of the Caribbean, so I really enjoyed getting to be on the other side of that experience. The food is good but nothing too fantastic. The hush puppies were just okay, but the ribs were good. They have a decent drink menu which is nice. My husband ordered some mixed drinks, and I had a beer. The theme of this restaurant is really nice, and it is awesome that it's a part of the Pirates ride. The only problem is there are a lot of tables and most of them are not near the water. We were lucky that we were only one table back from the water so we could still see people going by, but most everyone else is in the middle of the patio. It is also pretty cramped. The gentleman at the table behind me would bump into my seat occasionally just because we were so close together. You may also be eating at an odd time because the reservations are booked out. We ate at 3 PM. All in all, it is a neat experience but don't expect it to completely live up to your expectations.Kid-friendliness: It is a restaurant at Disneyland. Of course it is kid friendly!“

“I got the Cajun shrimp platter and it was delicious! I got it medium spicy. They have 3 levels: mild, medium, and hot. It's one pound of shrimp and it also came with 2 potatoes and a piece of corn and rice. The potatoes were a bit on the hard/crunchy side but were still good. Personally I like my potatoes to be a little more soft. I like that it came with rice too beacuse you can scoop some up with the cajun sauce from the shrimp and it's ohh so good! Overall it was soo tasty and just what I was in the mood for that day! P.s. my friend and I were sitting/eating at one of the tables across from this vendor and we were there for a bit eating and catching up and I'm not exaggerating but at least 8 or more people kept asking us where we had gotten our food from because it looked so delicious! And of course we pointed them to the right direction! Lol“

“Hidden next to the queue for Pirates this is a great spot to grab a nice mid day meal and sit back and people watch. I always go with the clam chowder, you can't go wrong, but for a small quick service location they have some great options. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the tight seating and because it's in a high traffic area it can be hard to get a table to eat from the people just sitting down to relax.“
