“The food is delicious and authentic but the customer service isn’t great. Call ahead for a reservation or be reprimanded that you’re suppose to have a reservation when you walk in (happened to a couple walking in when we were leaving, and the restaurant was empty). Also I love the injera bread but since they only give 4 small hand rolls of injera bread per basket, I ordered 2 additional baskets during my meal. The waiter/host was giving me attitude and even said when I ordered my 3rd basket, that he’s going to start charging me for bread. I was okay with paying for more bread, and told him to charge me for it. At the end of the meal I packed up the left overs and ordered 2 more orders of injera to go, I was refused, then I insisted I’ll pay for it and the waiter/host said something along the lines “of course you have to pay, bread costs money.” I feel I shouldn’t have tipped as much as I did and he forgot the copy of the credit card receipt, so I waited in view of the door to the kitchen, and it took a long time for me to get his attention even though he saw me. I’m sure it’s all a cultural barrier. Again the food is delicious and authentic. Come for the food, just be aware you might not get great customer service, and you might get an annoyed attitude from the staff for asking for refills of water, bread or even a go container.“
