It's a small joint that looks family owned from the outside. At first look, the menu seems overwhelming but it's actually just the toppings/choices of meat you can put into the item that you want and the prices are included! The service was exceptional. Food was decent, the employees were all nice and our food was out quickly. Went about an hour before closing and there was a few sketchy people hanging around outside due to the bar next door. Overall, wouldn't be my first choice but if everywhere else was closed i would eat here again

I've been going to Escalante based on a student of mine who highly recommended this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised being greet by this nice friendly professional gentleman. I truly enjoy the family atmosphere and their food is excellent. I had the shrimp soup and it was delicious! It came in a big bowl with loads of big shrimps.
