“I made sure I wrote a review for this restaurant because as I was eating my pizza I couldn't help but notice how insanely clean this establishment is! The cleanest restaurant I've ever been in, and that makes me feel better about the food I am eating. As far as the pizza goes, it tastes so good and it's way higher quality pizza than any other place in the area-- I've tried them all! A must try is the pepperoni pizza, the pepperonis are curled up & crunchy I could eat them like chips! And service was amazing as well!“

“We had a taste for pizza and decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, Mountain Mike’s Pizza did not miss a beat. I ordered a cheese pizza and churros. The quality and freshness of both items were definitely worth every dime. 100% freshly made. Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in a while.The service was very thoughtful and brought us plates, utensils, and others items in order for us to have a great dinner at our hotel. We didn’t even have to ask. The delivery person was super nice and we were greeted with a smile.Keep up the good work! We appreciate and applaud your entire team’s dedication. Would recommend!“

“Hands down the best fast slice pizza in Santa Cruz. And at the right price too. The slices are massive, delicious, and I don't know how they're able to get the dough simultaneously so fluffy yet crunchy every bit of the way?! Ever since the ownership change, this place just keeps getting better and better. Lovely staff, and a great place to either sit and munch a slice or take to go. Skip pizza my heart and check these folks out.“

“Had dinner at Firehouse tonight, it was delicious! We had the cowboy pizza and riblet tips they were also delicious and the bbq sauce was so tasty! We met Sal and staff and all were so welcoming and accommodating. Look forward to enjoying another pizza night very soon!“

“Not the place for in store dining unless you have no other options. Not an especially bad dining area, just kinda depressing like most fast food joints. Take it home and gorge on delicious chicken in private, and in peace.The crew seems especially great though.. there's an older lady who really rocks front of house, and in keeping the kitchen hustling along, and a Hispanic guy who's super polite and on top of it.The food is great.. original recipe all the way, but the crispy strips are also fire. Make sure to grab some of the Colonel's hot sauce too, it's like Tabasco ought to be. 9 out of 10.It's sad that Santa Cruz chased away the westside KFC, but it's not surprising. This Capitola location is the only KFC around, so do support it.. because once it's gone, you will miss it.Oh yeah, and the Coleslaw is amazing. There's a $30 deal going on which includes a bucket of original recipe, crispy strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, biscuits, and fries. It's amazing to be able to feed a family of 4 with leftovers, for $30.. McDonald's is like $15-18 for a meal per person nowadays, and it sucks. Burger King is the same now too.Oh yeah, and, this is also an A&W, so you can get yourself a root beer float, in a sad waxed cup.. no more frosty mugs or drive up dining like back in the day on Ocean St. It's sad. No more drive up, drive through, or drive in movies anymore in Santa Cruz.“

“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and loved it!We really liked the Margherita Pizza, the Brussel Sprout Salad and the Chicken Fusilli.We will definitely be back for dinner and will try their brunch soon. “What I best admired about Mountain Mike's Pizza is that it's where the video game room is located. It had one video arcade game machine that had all of these classic 1980s video games. Ones that aren't rated mature. Ones that have nothing to do with the Marvel and DC Comic book heroes.Dietary restrictions: This place doesn't serve sugarless desserts.
