“Steamer Lane is the place to be! Everything on the menu is delicious, and the staff are very friendly and care deeply about the community of Santa Cruz. Their menu has expanded over the years, and a lot of care is taken by the whole team to make sure the all of their offerings are really tasty and inclusive to all dietary needs.I have celiac disease, and typically feel safe eating here. They have a handful of very tasty gluten free items, and are very friendly and accommodating. I love the breakfast tacos, poke and other fish bowls, fish tacos, chicken leg plate, and the burger (with no bun). As with pretty much all places, not guaranteed to have no cross contamination, but if you want them to take extra precautions, just ask! I remind them I have celiac and they do a great job :)Dietary restrictions: Options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. You can ask for accommodations too (ie no cheese, or add cabbage)“

“The best fish tacos I've ever had. Don't know how they do it, but their battered fish is the perfect balance of crispy and salty. The pickled radish slice on top is a treat in and of itself. Their Tinga Taco (chicken) is a thing a beauty as well. I highly recommend a visit. It's a small clean place with a few small tables and stools set at a narrow bar. They don't sell beer or wine, so it is a bit of a bummer not to be able to enjoy one with the tacos. Chips & Salsa are extra, but honestly, two fish tacos hit the spot on their own. The ladies there are super friendly (and they make the best tacos).“

“Great food. I ordered my favorite. Quesabirria taco. Delicious! Ive been wanting to stop here for quite some time. I drive by it alot during work. The guys are soo nice and made ordering easy. The taco was full of flavorful meat, it was heavy. I could barelyy eat it all to be honest. I like that it came with grilled onions on the side. Definately stopping by again. They do take card payments. I was able to use a restroom in the nearby building. Parking lot is small and if your like me and drive a big vehicle, your better off parking on the street.“

“Stopped by here on a whim before playing some disc golf and got a pastor burrito. The burrito was delicious, well balanced, and well wrapped. The salsas also blew me away! The avocado salsa was perfect and the orange salsa was like a cross between a chipotle salsa and a Thai peanut sauce, never had anything like it and it worked really well. Reasonable prices too!“

“One of the best burritos and tacos that I've ever eaten there the flavor is good, but what really stands out is the tenderness of the chicken meat that they serve so good so juicyVegetarian options: All items can be modified so there's no meat in it just need to ask“

“I never come to Watsonville I only started coming into town to take a class at the Cabrillo Center where I was fortunate enough to find Tacos El Jerry. why aren't more people talking about this place!? I was stunned, the food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Quesabirria and Hortcha and I have to say. BEST QUESABIRRIA IVE EVER HAD!!!! I've been telling anyone who will listen, I'll be back every week. Customer service was excellent and food took 10 minutes which shows they cool with love and care for every order. Thank you!!!! OK“

“Love the food, so delicious, especially the horchatas and cucumber lime drink!, bit pricy but worth the price! Love this older gentleman that usually always there, he very sweet, great customer service, and helped me last time when I miscalculated my big orderprice and was short $6 and he said it was fine and didn't need to try to go to bank to repay the rest. Amazing place!“

“Needed some late night food and swung in here for some grub… The service was great and the food was amazing! We had a mix of asada tacos, fish tacos, breakfast burrito & a side of rice… My wife claimed the fish tacos were the best she’s ever had and the asada tacos were delicious! We’ll definitely return!“

“Finally tried this shop and enjoyed it. Difficult to find more SD style places up here which is the objectively better style for taco shops (I've also noticed that the more popular establishments up here are closer to that style too). Located near corralitos meat market. Inside is unassuming. The menu is extensive and they still have a salsa bar which is great. They have like 5 salsas and carrots too which is great. The avocado salsa and habanero/orange salsas are the best ones. Pico is also fresh. Carrots are great. Other two salsas are just alright. Anyway menu is pretty extensive like I said but I opted for a pericos super burrito because it looked most SD style. I got it with no beans but left the cheese in. I'd say other than the cheese it was pretty legit. Nice tortilla, asada was grilled nicely too. Nice amount of guac inside as well. Also prices are great. Only con is getting the burritos wrapped in foil. Why NorCal burritos are wrapped in foil and not paper I'll never understand. Stop steaming burritos! Ban foil wrapped burritos!!“

“Was walking by and decided to give it a try. Luckily came in on a Tuesday and it's Taco Tuesday! Like the other reviewer mentioned the strange thing is that they don't have a menu with prices. For reference as of 1/30/24 a super burrito is $12.50“

“Family owned food truck. The entire family is in on making this a success. They have good customer service, great tacos and a variety of drinks. It is a taco truck so pretty much to go only. The food truck is parked in a is parking lot so not super appealing but the food and service are worth the trip.“

“I live around the corner from Garden Deli, where Reuben's Taco Truck is located {except when he has a catering an event}. I ignored it for a couple months, thinking the food would be marginal at best. Then I was feeling lazy, so walked over and got dinner, expecting to be underwhelmed. OMG!! I was so effing wrong. Their food is So Fricking Good that I've gotten dinner there almost once a week ever since!!“

“Ed, JR and Ed are wonderful and make the dining experience fabulous. Favorites include fried chicken sandwich, any one of the great salads and the sand dabs anyway they serve them. The French fries are addicting so don't skip them! Order the specials as they are always delicious! Thanks for making the social aspect of sports club a great time again!“
