“One of the best places to eat Middle Eastern food in Los Angeles is Sahara Restaurant in Pasadena! ? I've been coming here since the 90s. The kebabs, hummus, tabbouleh, and Greek salad are my absolute favorites. Everything I've ever tried here is made fresh, yummy, and super delicious. ? The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. They have an open-concept kitchen, so you can see them cooking all the food when you order at the counter. ?️ My family and I usually like coming here to have lunch on Saturdays before 3:00 PM (they close from 3:00-5:00 PM Mon-Sat, then reopen from 5:00 - 8:00 PM for the dinner crowd, closed on Sundays). They have parking in the back and two spaces for parking on the side of the restaurant. It's a fantastic place to relax and enjoy delicious food with family and friends. “Couldn't pronounce most items and decided to order a little bit of everything on the menu to try. manta with the works: little dumplings with sauce. The sauce was a bit watery. Not as flavorful as I thought it'd be but fun to try. Su beoreg: some kinda cheese pastry. It was cheesy and delicious Salmon sandwich: big portion and a healthy choice garlic cream soup: not too garlicky. But I loved the little dumplings that came with soup.“
“This place is fun. The gyros are piled full of meat. I have visited twice now. The people are nice and the place is clean. The only odd thing is that my fries tasted like fish. I noticed that they offer fish and chips, so you might want to keep the fries and fish in separate deep fryers.“

“My wife was craving for Mediterranean,Armenian cuisine then I told my wife let's go to the Golden Skewer Restaurant in Montebello. We step in the restaurant then we ask it's a take out then we look at the menu then we decided to order the chicken breast kabobs come with roasted vegetable,hummus,rice pilaf and a pita bread. To took away while because everything is made fresh daily at the restaurant.When our meal real we left and headed home but the aroma from food amazing and also we got a new car scent from the food. I open the container and food looks so good but the taste incredible good so much flavors in the chicken breast kabobs season good cook perfect all the spices seal in chicken while cooking. The hummus was good then I try the rice pilaf also good then roasted vegetable very good then use the pita bread to complete the meal. The garlic spead was good but little bit strong flavor but my wife say it was little bit strong for her.We enjoy the food we need to come back again.“

“I hosted a dinner party for my parents 57th anniversary and didn't want to fuss with the preparation of food. I went to the catering menu online and ordered 2 days prior to party.I ordered chicken and the steak kabobs, (comes with 10 skewers each of the chicken and steak) each order comes with a very generous serving of rice and pita bread. I also ordered the #25, also on the catering menu. This also came with another large container of rice and pita bread, as well as roasted peppers and tomato. I wish I would have ordered more hummus though, that went quick, so good. The food was delicious! Everyone enjoyed it and vocalized how deliciousit was. Warning, totally my fault and not the restaurants. Be careful if using chaffing dishes. They are pretty and keep food warm, but can dry food out. It was my first time using and the heat was to high. Even still, I am very pleased. Also not snooze on the chimichurri! That stuff is ridiculously delicious. I picked up at the Arcadia mall location My food was ready at the time I requested it to be, nice and fresh. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They even helped me take food to my car. Would definitely use them again.“
