This is a tiny, homey breakfast joint with lots of regulars and friendly service. The food was okay, though a little lacking in seasoning. It's the usual suspects of breakfast fare.

Dropped in for brunch and had a good time. The food was excellent and was out very quickly. The servers were nice and dropped by at a good pace.

While out for a walk in Arroyo Grande Village my husband and I decided to stop in the Village Cafe for breakfast- It's a nice small cafe and the server made us feel instantly welcomed seating us right away- I ordered the short stack with a side of hash browns- My husband ordered the waffles with sausage and eggs and a side of biscuits and gravy- I was pleasantly surprised when our food arrived! My short stack was huge! I instantly could smell the heavenly aroma of vanilla and they were delicious! My hash browns were cooked exactly like I prefer which is crispy, golden and tasty- My husband loved every bit of his breakfast especially the biscuits and gravy, which I happily kept dipping my hash browns in! There was only one server and she was remarkable! Friendly and quick! We will definitely be back to try more on their menu ~

The food was good. The waitress was nice and friendly. Wait time wasn't bad either. As we left, the cook and waitress sent us off with a farewell.

This place was average. Nothing too special. The lady who helped us was pretty nice but did not come to refill waters and brought ketchup out when we requested hot sauce. Seems a little overpriced for the quality of the food. Not that it tasted bad, there was just nothing outstanding about the our breakfast.

Took my grandson there before school. They had one server and she was doing an excellent efficient job with a full house!..and a smile on her face ! My grandson remarked , "Best hash browns and eggs I've had!" and wants to go again. We surely will! Fun hometown place.

We stumbled across the Village Cafe on a recent outing with friends. We were promptly greeted and seated. The cafe had a rustic feel, and it appears that it's a favorite with locals. For me it was the best breakfast I've had in sometime. I had just a regular bacon and egg breakfast, and everything on my plate was delicious. We'll definitely be returning.

This was a cute western cafe. Great for families with a budget. The food was tasty and perfect portions. Coffee was also fresh and the juice was a hit with a kiddo!

If you’re looking for the least friendly most expensive breakfast in town then this place is for you. Kids menu: 7 bucks for microwave pancakes.
