While out for a walk in Arroyo Grande Village my husband and I decided to stop in the Village Cafe for breakfast- It's a nice small cafe and the server made us feel instantly welcomed seating us right away- I ordered the short stack with a side of hash browns- My husband ordered the waffles with sausage and eggs and a side of biscuits and gravy- I was pleasantly surprised when our food arrived! This place was average. Nothing too special. The lady who helped us was pretty nice but did not come to refill waters and brought ketchup out when we requested hot sauce. Seems a little overpriced for the quality of the food. Not that it tasted bad, there was just nothing outstanding about the our breakfast.
