BAD SERVICE!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! We went in few minutes before 6PM and we were the only customers at that time. Staff took our order at exactly 6PM. 39 minutes later our main entree was not out yet. But there was a table with a party of four that came 15 minutes later and got some of their food. 6:44PM we stood up to the cashier wanted to pay for the appetizer and mango drink we consumed. I asked for the manager and nobody came out. But one staff was trying to convince us to stay saying that food is ready. Only at this time 2 staff was coming out of the kitchen carrying our ordered food. We lost our appetite already. Paid for the mango drink and appetizer (we did not even finish). Walked out. Will never try again nor recommend this place.

Personally I had no issues with the food itself or the service when I visited last month with two friends. The chicken biryani I ordered was great as were the samosas. However, I don't understand why I keep receiving texts from the business late in the evening complaining that the waiters don't receive tips. This is a rather alarming allegation from whoever the sender is against their employer and hopefully whatever the purported situation or alleged dispute is gets resolved through some other means or avenue. Nonetheless as another reviewer had previously said, this seems rather unprofessional to involve a onetime diner (who has ABSOLUTELY ZERO independent knowledge whatsoever of the working environment at the establishment), and especially to text late at night, at 10 pm. I'd like for the texts to cease, please.

Great food at Yantra Kitchen. I LOVE their Baingan Bhartha! It is different than other places as there is more of a smoky taste to their Baingan Bhartha, which I really enjoyed. Here are the other items we ordered: - Pakoras (good) gotta eat it with the Mint Chutney and Tamarind sauces - Garlic Naan (always delicious) - Ocean King Prawns (ok, I don't think I would order it again) - Chai (really good, but no free refills) Interior was clean and modern. Service was excellent! But I have been here other times where it was pretty bad. Some staff member gave me extra items that I did not order and was charged for it. Other than that, everyone was very friendly. Thank you Yantra Kitchen for my favorite Baingan Bhartha!

I actually liked the food here, but im giving 1 star because I’m receiving text messages saying that management is keeping the servers tips. If true, that’s ridiculous and unlawful and management should know better and do better.

We went to Artesia today to have a food at Honest but came across this restaurant and thought we should give it a try.We tried other food which was okayish andWORST PANI PURI (GOL GAPPA). For the first time in my life my friends and I felt like they should stop serving this to us or anyone.The attraction is they have proper gol gappa stall like in India serving on the street but we regret doing that and we recommend people to not do this and waste their money, time and get food poisoning.

we tried this place last weekend with some friends. thr resturant a d ambiance was nice. bathroom was clean and modern. my hubby and I ordered samosas and bhav bhaji. the bhav bhaji itself was good..the bulbs were drenched in ghee that's all I could taste so would not recommend. samosas were tasty. I make my own at home and these were good. I ordered a veggie dish, veggies with coconut milk, it looked good but wasn't. it lacked flavor and wasnt spicy at all. my hubby and friends ordered lamb curry, goat curry, chicken tandoori, kids pizza Naan and rice. the service was like a circus. While waiting for out food, no one came by to order drinks or water. we finally got some dished with rice, which was wrong. the person who brought it was confused and didn't know what dosh was ehat. they took it brought it back and didn't say anything. I had to wave them down and asked, they said uhh I think this is lamb etc. I also asked if we could get water. one of the servers went and I see 3 of them standing by tge counter talking and holding the water..another customer was clearly upset about a bill. finally the girl comes back with a water flask, and no glasses. I asked her if she could bring it. she took the flask and I asked her to leave it for 2 of us. were all watching at this point. eating what we had an missing pizza, chicken dish, Naan. we asked when our original server came back. then comes a manager aks if things were ok. I said no and asked if the servers were new he said yes. whi h explained alot. I told him we were waiting for Naan and chicken but to not bring out since we were almost done. lord be hold they came back with it and pizza for the child Naan and chicken. we were just watching tge service was so terrible. Management needs to train the staff properly. I'm being nice about the service review but it was so bad and unbelievable about the confusion, water, and just overall customer service. our friends liked tge food. they are Nigerian, my husband and I are Indian and only likes the samosas. we didn't take the left overs, except our friends taking their food. would never come back.

Excellent authentic Indian food with great service. Been here twice so far. Perfect spot if going to the Cerritos Performing Arts Center. Definitely get the chicken poutine appetizer! I also lived there lamb chops and the lamb curry! The ice cream was a homemade treat and very creamy! Can't wait to go back!
