“The food is bomb. My fav is the Reese’s mixer. Only problem for atmosphere is that kids get in the way of an otherwise perfectly calm waiting room. Also the place has been closed for ages now! “A great place to stop for a great hamburger. I always order the grilled chicken sandwich with bbq sauce. This Habit is just off I-5 and HWY 99 merger at El Tejón Outlets. It’s located on the east side of the freeway. Plenty of parking space and easy in but a little tricky to get back to the freeway due to lack of signage. Clean all the way around and great service. “Best place to eat in Arvin. The grilled chicken salad was good enough with a simple mix of average ice burg lettuce and a little cheddar cheese with 2 small cups of ranch for $10. No tomatoes, no other vegetables. Pretty basic...but tasty. I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat here but would happily come again if I was already in the area.“
“After, unfortunately being stranded here in Wheeler Ridge, while backpacking with my service dog, and enduring constant harassment from the rent-a-cops patrolling the entire lease, it was here at Carl's Jr, where after having an early lunch, I was assured by the manager, Carlos, that I could sit right here, and await the Greyhound bus I must unfortunately take tomorrow in Bakersfield.The staff here (at Carl's Jr) were friendly, polite, and genuinely concerned with my experience and my situation. The food was delicious, and reasonably priced, considering the other nearby establishments, who all seem to share the "truck stop prices"“
