My family often gathers here for an authentic Mexican dinner. It's not a full service restaurant which means you need to order before sitting down. The food is delivered to your table. The atmosphere is a bit noisy because the restaurant is a big cavernous building. The plates include generous portions of rice and beans. This is a great place for large family gatherings at a reasonable price.
Been coming here since I was a kid, moved away but now back in the area. Grabbed some fresh chips to go for a family get together, and had to grab some tamales to go. Still a great establishment that has history and a local landmark.

The asada and shrimp plate is amazing. Big serving sizes. They give each person chips and salsa. With the entree, you get a little bowl of guacamole. It is very good. Huge restaurant. Big parking lot. A lot of choices to pick from.
