“So good! And such nice people. I happened to be in the area and parked right in front of the store a few weeks ago. As I was leaving my actual destination, the shop just looked so inviting, so I grabbed some ice cream and some ice cream bars and left them in the freezer for my husband. I didn't even think about it, until he asked me where I got that ice cream because it was really good. So I decided we had to go back some time even though we don't live that close to it. We went back tonight and got more, and I finally got some for me. The rocky road was so good with just a tiny bit of a cinnamon flavor (like Mexican hot chocolate), not too sweet, and the perfect texture. Also, it's not expensive at all. This may be our regular ice cream shop from now on!“
“I lived in California most of life, and obviously one of the best parts about living here was taquerias like Tony's. Now I live in Seattle, and we do not have great Mexican food, so every time I come back I have to fill the void. We ordered an assortment of street tacos and a mulitas de pastor. The sheer joy this meal brought me cannot be overstated. 100% chance I will be dreaming about this place next week when I'm back in Seattle, and crying about how much I miss it.“
“This place is a hidden gem in Azusa. I was craving chilaquiles but none of the local Mexican restaurants have good chilaquiles in my opinion. I searched chilaquiles near me on Yelp and this place came up on top. Not only did the red chilaquiles exceed my expectations but the rice and beans were so flavorful with just a perfect amount of seasoning. I ordered a side of handmade corn tortillas and spread beans on a hot straight from the comal corn tortilla with a few drops of their chili oil, which they make there on-site. The other thing that I really enjoyed was their agua de jamaica or hibiscus water. I was worried that it would be too sweet since I'm diabetic but no, it was lightly sweetened and made with the dry hibiscus flowers, not some powder. I love it when I find simple mom and pop establishments like this one. The husband and wife team are so sweet and very attentive to every person that comes in. I appreciated the ambiance because it kind of reminded me of being in Mexico with family enjoying good food, and it had me feeling nostalgic. 100% highly recommend this place and looking forward to the next dining experience here!“
“One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Do you want to go to a place where everybody knows your name? Well then this is the place for you. Warm, friendly, kind, delicious food what more can you ask for. They serve all the normal Mexican staples. They're salsa and chips are to die for. My only pet peeve is it's a family-owned restaurant and they tend to close early.“
“Only good things can be said about this establishment. The food is delicious, the salads and fruits are very well prepared. First world service. Brenda is very attentive and smiling and the other workers are very attentive.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I give Brenda 10 Stars?????“
“Amazing food ! I LOVE their horchata and tacos. The first time I came the cashier person was super friendly but this second time, the cashier was a little dry and looked down, but it might be because they were busy in the drive thru or something. But the food is ???“
“Must try spot!!!! Found my new favorite spot for chiliquiles. Everything was made perfect, and the freshness in the food you can really taste customer service was awesome as well. I would make a reservation before I head over, but you won't be “
“Food here is always good with big portions and good prices. The aqua frescas are large with free refills. They have a large menu but not too big and tons of drinks options. They have tables to fit large parties and an upstairs area that could be used for a dinner party. They also have a bar behind the restaurant seating area and an entrance from the rear of the building.Parking: There are some spaces in the front and a larger parking lot behind the buildings.“
“Very happy with This location we’ve been here twice. The place is clean, the service is quick & respectful. The food is very good. We’ve had the Chile verde with pork meat, with rice & beans, the two beef taco dinner, the ranchero bistake / bistake picado, all delicious! Prices are very reasonable.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking, available tables for handicap, restrooms are ADA compliant“
“It's a small restaurant so we were a bit skeptical but the food was good. It was a little bit different than usual Mexican. Fajita had a different flavor and texture than the Fajitas I had before but I still enjoyed it. Fish tacos were really good too.Don't get discouraged by the looks of the restaurant outside, try the food!“
“The Ceviche Estilo Nayarit is so delicious and fresh, this is the only place I will come for ceviche ever again! Affordable also. The Guanabana Raspados was super refreshing after the spicy ceviche too. Love the mom and daughter owned business. Will always support!“
“I've been coming here since college was across the street. I'd have a limited amount of time so I decided to check them out. I was instantly hooked on the empanadas they have here. They got a little bigger in space and also expanded their menu which now includes Tacos (BEST PASTOR AND ASADA ever) and the service was amazing. The kindest people, I felt at home while eating inside.“
“I'm glad to have Los Gueros close to me in Glendora now, having eaten at the Monrovia location for years. Their papas tacos are really good, and most of the entrees I've tried have been great too. The pricing is right on point and Leon will mix up a Michelada Especiale for you too! Come by and give them a try, close, convenient , clean and nice atmosphere-there's always a game or Norteno playing on the big screen.“
“To the TALL YOUNG LADY N THE RED LETTERS MEN JACKET, giving me the eye while you was eating with ur family. Mami I hope to run into you again some day! Inbox me if you ever see this post. XOXOTried this whole in the wall about 2 weeks ago. Posole con pata 100% worth it! It's time to go back for some more!“
“Was in town for the lake when I was craving mexican food, I found them to be the best rated on yelp so I decided to try it out with my boyfriend. They immediately made me feel like I was back home, great authentic food and amazing friendly service. It's truly a mom and pop shop, pls support and get some of the best food & kind smiles while you're at it!“
“First time visiting. I ordered the Carne asada burrito. The lady taking my order was very polite. The burrito was excellent. Liked that the sauce and onions and cilantro were packaged. Beans and sliced jalapeños were available. Restaurant was very clean.“
“My family often gathers here for an authentic Mexican dinner. It's not a full service restaurant which means you need to order before sitting down. The food is delivered to your table. The atmosphere is a bit noisy because the restaurant is a big cavernous building. The plates include generous portions of rice and beans. This is a great place for large family gatherings at a reasonable price.“
“Came to eat here outside on a fresh day and the heaters kept us warm. The drinks were good and the food was good as well! I would recommend this place! Only got a little confused on how to order since no one was at the front door. You have to order at the front and then find your seating.“
“Bomb! I got a breakfast burrito with peppers, bacon, egg, beans, pico de gallo, and salsa. With a horchata. Would definitely come back and try more items. But the tortilla and the beans were so delicious. Really hit the spot and field me up for a heavy leg workout. Parking in front, to-go and dine-in, sweet employees“
“They made me the best burger I've ever had in small sit-down restaurants. It was AMAZING. The carne asada was delicious and their made in-restaurant salsas were simply great. Not too salty like some others I've had. The cafe de holla stole the show though! I had to take it with me when I normally leave coffee once done. The owner was very friendly and talkative. I'll definitely be coming back.“
“Salsa verde is the BEST in town. Full of flavor without burning your mouth off. I also appreciate that their enchilada sauce is rich and authentic and not that cheap neon orange sauce you see at most of the other mexican fast food places in the area. Also the best refried beans I've had in quite a while. Tastes homemade.“
“Amazing, authentic Mexican food. A great Mexican restaurant is hard to find. Even a good one is tough to find. This place caters to those who love the traditional Mexican fare. The mole, the chilaquiles, the various seafood dishes, the chile relleno, the tamales... omigoodness!! This place is the real deal. Do yourself a favor and order something you may not usually order and experience something wonderful. Live this place.“
“My best friend and I decided on this tacobell it's by her place and had gave up on the one near my place in Monrovia. I was absolutely appeased by the effort and customer service provided to us that night at this location by Costco. We came in before closing of the dining area respectfully. Ordered veggie options for all items with the exception of a chicken chulupa. Upon picking up the order when called the manger asked if that was ok..i know it's a small gesture but that question goes far in in my mind on reassuring me of attention to detail and what's going in my body isn't anything I don't want. I didn't get the gentelemans name but he and his staff of 1 did a amazing job. Thank you again. All is appreciated. -the mountain dew refill“
“I came here for the first time today and it was so good, a treasure restaurant. This is a family restaurant, which really gives you a warm and friendly feeling. The food and drinks are top notch. I couldn't wait to come here for the second time today. A cucumber drink is highly recommended. “
