I took my kids out to eat and had the worst experience ever. I've never had an experience where I couldn't find something redeeming about the experience. The food was horrible and the managements response was even worse. The rice was crunchy. The "sesame" chicken had no sesame. The chicken was over cooked and dry. The steak was flavorless and not cooked to instruction. The lobster was dry and when I asked for butter was given it raw and not melted. I asked to speak to management after taking a couple bites and realizing we were not going to eat our food and was told that I would have to pay for everything regardless or they would call the cops. Hands down the worst food, the worst customer service, the worst experience. Pictures of our plates to show we didn't eat our food.

Wow! So natural delicious taste. This restaurant I ever enjoy at. Chef shows off cooking skills at the small sizzling table with customers. So fantastic fun! Little expensive but so worthy.

On Wednesday Valentine’s Day my group went all together to have a nice lunch. We had 12 in our party and was seated at two different teppan grills. We had reservations mind you. There were a set of 2 people at the two tables behind us. One there before us and one after us. (Which he served them first)The only teppan cook in the house served these two tables. When get got to us he cooked at our table while the other table he had his back to them and they couldn’t see to watch him. Mind you we had a reservation! They charged us a gratuity of their choice and never came back to remove the dirty dishes or refill our drinks. Very disappointed because one of the ladies, it was her birthday, and she sat at the table where he wasn’t cooking. Probably won’t be back ?We had our reservation for a week in place. They should have accommodated us.

not the same as the old akira... owner of akira that was here before opened a quick dine in restaurant in town called Kyoto and that's where i will be going always

1st time going since it was akira. The only thing new is the sign & name but I was expecting more. It's just feels old in there. But not classic old, just old & dated. Food quality didn't look good enough for date night. Service was ok but ended up leaving after sitting down. My advice, update the interior.

Bad customer service. Came 2 hours before closing and they refused to let us eat even though their sign said close at 9pm. And there was someone else who walked in right before us. It wasn't busy and there were other customers there. They lost a good tip.

Unprofessional people. Wanted to take my wife for our anniversary dinner. I called to make sure they were open and it was ok to go as a walk in. 10 min later we arrive only to be refused service saying they were closing even though they had 2.5 hours before they were going to close. I'll take my business elsewhere like Tokyo Garden.

Everything was so good! We shared the Filet mignon. They weren't rude about doing the split unlike some places I've been. I can't wait to go back.

They were just rude. When we entered the store we were ignored, it wasn't that they were busy or didn't see us the women who was seating people looked me right in my eyes and then helped the person BEHIND us. But looking past that we were there for pick up and once we finally just walked up to a member of their team she said she didn't see our order and then said she would get her boss.I tell him the situation too show him my receipt and everything and he say " no we can't help you, we don't have that order, we weren't paid"... my only issue was that he didn't try to help at all or explain the situation he was just clueless, unhelpful, sweaty, and rude.

Came in for my sister’s birthday and had an amazing time! The service was super friendly and accommodating. The chef was funny and we all had a blast with a couple of sake bomb rounds. The food was sooo good the filet mignon literally melted in my mouth! I’ve gone to a couple of other places for fried rice and this place is definitely the one to beat. We were so full there was so much food we had a good amount of leftovers to take home, but could not resist the dessert that comes with the meal. Absolutely recommend!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Never have I ever thought I needed to leave a negative review so badly until I went into this place! The server was new so I understand he didn't know alot of the answers, but the lady training him didn't know how to explain anything correctly. They wanted to charge us $10 extra per person for a little extra rice and we told them we didn't want it, we just wanted an extra empty plate so my 2 year old daughter could share my food. They are charging well over $30 per person. And the manager tried to tell us we would get those charges anywhere but that's not true at all because we just went to another restaurant similarly a couple weeks ago and it was an amazing experience and the prices were so much better. Please people, save your money do not go to this place.
