We love Nurstro! We come here whenever we need to celebrate something or just need some good food! The watermelon margaritas are to die for! The pozole is delicious as the tacos are wonderful! We always leave full and happy. We love the friendly staff and the atmosphere!

I live close. I want to like it. The portions are small and expensive. I got taquitos to start I didn't read they are only cheese 12$ Next enchilada suizas around 19$ still hungry I got a 5$ asada taco which was pretty good. But for a 5$ taco it better be good. It's never too busy, because the prices I'm guessing.

They took my 9 month olds French fries before he was done and they didnt even replace them so my poor baby cried his eyes out it was so sad and all the waitress said was sorry about that while looking at my baby

We came here to celebrate a friends birthday and throughly enjoyed ourselves. This was a first time for the hubby and I so we didn't know what to expect. The decor is very bright and trendy but it is nice. We were the first to arrive so we immediately ordered drinks. Our waitress was extremely friendly and brought out our vodka presses quickly (even though we actually ordered vodka tonics). Once everyone arrived we placed our orders. I got the steak fajitas and the hubby got the Diablo shrimp plate. He said that his shrimp wasn't too hot where he'd be paying for it later and had great flavor. I enjoyed my fajitas but the nopales had a bitter after taste so I pushed those to the side after a few bites. One of the guys in our party ordered the abondigas soup and the meatballs were so hard he couldn't even break them with a spoon! He also mentioned it was lacking in flavor, dousing it with salt and requesting some Tapatio. He powered through and ate it though. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. I would like to go back and try the tacos since I did hear that they're pretty good.

They charge for chips and salsa. Food was mediocre at best. Service was adequate, restaurant was extremely cold, fans on high, most patrons were complaining of cold temperature inside. Not my favorite Mexican food, in fact probably one of the worst in Bakersfield. I wouldn't waste my money there again.
