So we come here all the time and never had any problem until my two-year-old son was watching something on YouTube while dining which is no other problem anywhere else we didn’t even get our drink order in and they said you guys can go to another restaurant because the baby can’t be calm down and he’s two who can predict the behavior of a two year old? I felt so discriminated on because my child was a little loud but if I came in there with 15 people, it would be a hey okay ?? Zero out of zero for me not to mention this was the first ever restaurant in my sons two years of life of them, asking me to leave because of a babynot only that I try to avoid the crowd and go during the day and because I feel like they had some clout that they would choose the only two other people in the restaurant we had to leave which is so sad.You are so wrong no one apologize you asked us to go to a different restaurant. Please stop because that is not how you respond to people first of all just rude. You can’t tell me about my experience. You guys drop the ball . Really unprofessional to say to go somewhere else. I guess things will be different if I came in with 15 adults and we were doing saki shots and being loud would be more acceptable. FYI this is NOT A 5 star restaurant sorry not sorry

My family has been ordering sushi from here for a long time now, and each experience has been a great one. From dining in on a birthday and getting a little light show and music from the staff, to ordering takeout for a birthday and being gifted a complimentary set of cute chopsticks. The staff is skilled, kind, and attentive.
I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I just discovered this place by random chance today and it was so lovely I needed to review. The food is quite literally some of the best I've had. I didn't think I liked sushi or fish, but I had just never had it done so well. It was spectacular, and no matter what you order you will leave happy. The atmosphere was just perfect, the music was calming, everything was very clean. Also, the service was exceptionally good.I really can't say enough good things about this place. I can't wait to bring my friends :)!

These last 3 months since I've moved to bakersfield, I have been on a personal crusade to find a sushi spot to replace the one I lost. Today during my journey, due to complete whim, I found myself inside Sushi Hanashi. The place was very quite and relaxed, I'm guessing not too busy on a Thursday afternoon. After checking out their menu for a minute I noticed no popcorn lobster roll listed. Moments later a friendly worker introduced themselves to me. I mentioned about my dismay as she then reassured me that, although not listed, I can still order a popcorn lobster roll.After I ordered, barley able to check my phone to see any decent places to get some boba or a nice cool drink, my order was ready. I was in complete shock, fully prepared to wait 15+ minutes for my order. My order came to 19$ which to me was a better price than some sushi spots I've been to in the bakersfield area. I left skeptical thinking that my sushi will turn out bad due to how fast it was prepared. The fool I was. Past experiences with other sushi spots, the popcorn lobster that sat atop of the rolls would often have a hard chicken tender outer feel or a very soft non fried feel. But this roll was different, the second I felt that perfect crunch from the perfectly deep fried lobster I knew instantly that I've finally found my new spot.I will continue my patronage with Sushi Hanashi, and plan to try their Red Bull Roll next!

I guess they are closed Mondays too. Just went and it is closed! The webpage says they are open and are supposed to be closed on Tuesdays not Mondays.

This is my favorite sushi spot to go to- great selection, great service, and lovely atmosphere. I always recommend sushi hanashi to others because the prices tend to be the most reasonable with flavors to match. My husband and I tend to keep track of what we get and our favorites to get every time are: lemon tree roll, nude roll, and any sushi with salmon!
Unfortunately nothing authentic, a mid-range diner. All in all, it was tasty but not overtly fresh.

Absolutely love this place. Many people come here for sushi and i’ve heard it’s super great. I personally ALWAYS get the Bento Box. It comes with so much delicious food and a side of miso soup. It’s very fulling. I believe it’s $19 which is a reasonable price (: The service is amazing. the food wait time isn’t bad. i usually wait around 10 mins for a party of 3.
