Interesting place. Not what I would have expected in Bakersfield. Service was a little slow. But then again it was a Tuesday night.The food was good.The music was a little too loud and seemed to be on a disco Latin soundtrack. I left with a headache.

Service was horrid, food was great drinks ok. But starting with the blonde hostess she was rude, she’s acts like she is better than her customers. Someone should train this young girl properly and explain to her that she is in the service business. Server forget to bring my drink, dinner took way too long to arrive and the wine came even after. I wish that they had take-out so that I don’t have to put out with their horrible customer service.

Zama has the best Latin food in Bakersfield and if you like Latin food it is a must stop. This place is just beautiful, inside and out. It kept so clean and the service is amazing.When you arrive, you will be greeted and seated by the nicest people. Make a reservation or there will be a wait. The servers know the menu so well and can guide you to Latin fun. They also have great burgers and steaks. They have items for vegetarians as well.We loved everything we had and we ordered a lot of food. We started with this amazing spinach dip with the best bread. The guacamole is so good. It has goat cheese and green salsa. The beet salad was out of this world. So fresh and with such flavor.For dinner you must try the Ora Salmon, and the pollo con mole with black mole sauce and rice and beans. The have an amazing lava cake and you won't want to share so get two. They also have other great deserts.Everything at Zama is perfect. Enjoy.

When you walk in you are met with beautiful smiles and a greeting that is welcoming. As you continue to the bar you feel right at home. The lighting is perfect and the seats are very comfortable. Once you get your food and drinks it's like an experience you probably didn't think kern county had. The salsas is authentic and the drinks will sit just well in your body. Don't forget to order dessert, the flan can't be replicate.

We had to get up over 8 times to ask the waitress for things. In the middle i told her it's hard to find her, she apologized and proceeded to disappear the entire meal. Completely crap service on a 600 tab. NO TIP, and a great reminder of why we don't come to this establishment. GET BETTER SERVERS! Especially on these high of tabs. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SEASON THE CHICKEN. Thanks.

The food was delicious, it is so beautiful in here and the service was excellent. Spectacular cocktails. I will definitely return and hopefully often. Great place for special celebrations and fine dining experience.

We went for the first time and was very pleased. The decor, the sound, the guests made it a great night. The specialty drinks are pricey for me but they have lots of alternatives. I found the menu prices are on par for a restaurant like this. Dinner for two with lots of drinks was only $170 the same dinner in San Francisco would be about $300.Wheelchair accessibility: Ample space for moving around.

10/10 absolutely love! Everything is perfect for a date night! Zama Tama is a must! We got the two person plate and tried several drinks. Benjamin was knowledgeable and provided fabulous recommendations. The lighting is dim and intimate. The seats are comfortable to the point you want to stay. Exactly what we were looking for. The ambience of this establishment reminded me of fine dining back home in Los Angeles. I loved every minute of it! The food was amazing plus I finally stepped into the emerald green ladies room. That's definitely a selfie worthy location. I will be back for my bday.
Very classy and a VIBE! Our food was on the table exactly 5 mins from the time that we ordered. The drinks were great and the best part about the whole place is the bathroom! 10/10 recommend!
