My buddy and I were on our way to the Ace Hardware in Ben Lomond close to lunch time and on his suggestion we stopped in. We ordered a half pepperoni and since it was a Friday during lent, half artichoke / anchovy. Being from Chicago, I tend to be a little picky about pizza but this was really really good. Thin crust, fresh ingredients. The pastries look awesome as well but will save those for the next visit.
WOW! Killer spot. You must go. I went on a whim on a rainy night in Felton seeking pizza to bring me warmth, and La Placa brought me the joy I needed and more. The spot itself is big and spacious and comfy to just hang out in, but I was on a mission to bring home the pizza and had to return another day (morning, in fact) to try the pastry. This place is amazing and worth the stop! The pastries and coffee are delicious. You must try the bombolini! The pizza looks and smells appetizing but I have yet to try it. Staff is friendly, facilities are clean and I've never had trouble with parking.
