“Older local crowd. Live music, pool tableParking: There are a couple parking spaces in front. Basically you have to find a place to park on the opposite side of the street.”
“This review is about their Tri-Tip Sandwich. It's amazing! My favorite is the Spicy Tri-Tip. The bread is soft and crispy while the juicy tri-tip urges you to salivate in every bite! FLAVORFUL!”
“What a great little coffee spot in the Santa Cruz mountains. Loved the drinks, food and staff here. Liam is so friendly. Thanks for the Jalapeño Cheese bagel recommendation. That was one of the best eggs sandwiches I've had.”
“Such a great quirky little spot with incredible food. They even had a kids area to hang out!We got the chicken and waffles and an omelete. The waffles were crispy with cinnamon sugar and butter and the chicken was flavorful. With a side of warm maple syrup and sausage gravy it was perfect. The omelete was nice and flavorful. The home fries were so crispy and soft. And the side of biscuits and gravy were perfect.Kid-friendliness: There was kids play area out back!”
“Food was excellent ??. Service was slow but it was Valentine's Day but they apologized profusely I think a comped drink or something would have been nice. The atmosphere is just like true neighborhood French bistro.”
“04.18.24 Service was great, the young ladies working there were friendly and helpful, thank you to them! Location, interior/exterior, decor, seating, lighting were all 5+ stars, such a nice large, laid back environment to sit and work on your computer or for chat/get together w.friends.Now the bad; the hot Americanos were terrible. Tasted watered down, had a slight salty aftertaste. Thankfully did not buy a bag of beans from them. For amazing coffee we like Black Oak Coffee in Ukiah or Peet's in Scott's Valley. Avoid Starbucks as their beans (except for Blonde) is too bitter & acrid.”
“Coffee conspiracy is by far my favorite roaster (and now cafe) in Santa Cruz. Eddie is genuinely kind, hard-working and determined, and I’d definitely recommend stopping in to give his coffee a shot!”
“Small cozy shop tucked along the streets of Santa Cruz. Great place to chill by in the afternoon people watching. Sandwiches were good - buns were soft and eggs were flavourful. ”
“Exquisitely exceptional. Denise and her team have carefully curated a wonderfully enchanting Parisian experience from the ambiance to the decor--snacks & caviar..a truly uplifting experience that Los Gatos desperately needed. Well done, can't wait to be back.”
“I find this restaurant to be a very sweet treat. It's the only place in town. I can find beef cheeks, if you've never had them you should try them. The most delectable mouthwatering, juicy meat falls apart in your mouth like butter. I miss when they used to have the pizza oven, but everything else is rather delicious so I'll let it pass. Don't be over sold by the squid ink pasta, it's not that great. Always order the Barada, it's super fresh and absolutely delicious”
“I feel like there’s an unwritten bay area vegan rule that if you see a GATS sticker or tag, the place is solid - this spot has 3 so you know it’s real, lol. For reals though this is a go-to for my wife and I, the crew are always so damn kind and they have mad vegan options. Come get you a not-chicken sandwich (don’t be an idiot and come here and get upset it isn’t real meat), some fries with vegan ranch, and any of the drinks- they’re all good. Then post up on the patio and chill. Also if they have the pistachio praline soft serve: do it. Twice. Not a giant menu but they don’t need one… everything on it is good.Dietary restrictions: Vegan / Vegetarian only restaurant, the staff is always on point making sure you get what you ordered if you didn’t want the dairy version (thanks guys)”
“Definitely will be back! The food was great, fairly-priced, and there were clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options. Our server Zack was super attentive and all the staff was very friendly.”
“Tried the Charlie pizza and burrata appetizer. The pizza is excellent - best I've found in the area. The crust is crispy and airy but tender inside. Sauce is simple and good and the toppings are top quality. The burrata is served with oven dried tomatoes and fry bread, and is just outstanding. Nice job!”
“Love this little spot and adore Michele ....his hospitality and quality of food/drinks/ambiance make us feel like we're in Florence. Not a spot to be rushed through.”
“Somehow our reservation was not in the system. We reserved through yelp so maybe that's why. When we arrived for a 7pm they couldn't seat us. So we decided to seat in the walk in lounge area. Curiously... the host could have just told us to wait until 7:15 as the reservation system showed availability. Small service issue but everyone was really nice. The steak sandwich was great. The brie was also very good. The artichoke hearts however were not very tasty. Didn't expect the inedible leaves to be part of the fried artichoke hearts. Prime rib was incredibly tender and one of the best we've had. The server in the lounge was great and loved his service. Wish I remembered the name.”
“Came in from the hotel close by and the hostess was fantastic with suggestions based off my food allergies. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long long time. The hostess was phenomenal as was the staff and food. This is a hidden ”
“The staff really make the spot. They clearly care about the job which speaks volumes to the quality of the restaurant. This is one of the hidden gems of Santa Cruz as far as high quality food, but expect to pay accordingly. Staff is there every day prepping even in their days closed and they receive fresh local ingredient deliveries daily.”
“What an amazing food experience, the sandwiches are FAT and the options are many. We had the Cove and Sunset Sandwiches. The mozzarella melts in your mouth and the Brisket is accompanied by several other melodies of flavor. The merry band of people there serve amazong food with a smile and 5 Star Service.”
“Awesome sushi and fast service. To be honest, you are really missing out if you are in Scott's Valley for dinner and don't come here. Service: Fast, polite waiters have your food out in minutes and always check to make sure you are enjoying the food. Food: Undoubtedly the best sushi place I've been to. The popcorn lobster roll is great but the chicken katsu is incredible. Bento boxes come with tons of food: salad, fruit, rice, sauce, extra veggies, and choice of two main dishes (rolls, tempura, etc.) Sushi rolls are packed with ingredients and are super tasty. You will always leave feeling full. Ambiance: Red lights on shelf close to ceiling, creating a strip light like effect. Walls are filled with Japanese paintings. Seats are red and black, including booths. There is a sushi bar to sit at, and multiple TVs playing sports games. Price: A bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Ingredients are always super fresh and leave you super full. In reality, you won't find a sushi place much cheaper anyways. In all, amazing resturaunt!”
“Fantastic experience there. We were treated like royalty even though they were about to close. Definitely recommend. Thanks to the 2 gentlemen working there that day. Amazing food too.”
“Great experience! Food was amazing, service was outstanding, our server was super friendly and since it was our first time eating there he made great recommendations.”
“I love this little restaurant and will definitely return to try many other menu items from the dinner menu. I had the spicy calamari red sauce on bucatini this time from the pasta bar menu for lunch. The pizza my husband had was delicious.”
“Everything here was amazing. We got the pork dumplings and hot oil which was probably some of my favorite dumplings i think I’ve ever had, plus they’re handmade. The Dan Dan noodles were phenomenal, perfectly spicy and numbs the back of your throat with how much Sichuan pepper they put in it. Then we got the Red chili pepper chicken, which had an abundance of chilies, peanuts fried garlic, and was also amazing. Plus they home make their own soy sauce, which is also amazing. 10/10 would Chinese food again.”
“This is probably the most authentic tapas place you can find in the bay area.Their cold items are exceptional. So are the rest of the warm tapas items. They have only 1 dessert menu and they have perfected it.We got two anchovi plates, pulpo, oyster mushroom, goat cheese, chorizo omlette and bacon wrapped dates. Everything is absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. You can tell they care about the food they serve you. They prepare the food as the order comes in and the wait is well worth.”
“I hesitated a long time till leave a review because I WANT this to remain a locals little know secret.Alas, if you like coffee and want a pleasant and calm experience this is the place to be.”
“After Hours is the bar attached to 11th Hour Coffee, the primary coffee shop that also hosts pop-up kitchens and events throughout the week (including trivia).I grabbed a drink from the bar to go with my dumplings from Full Steam. I got myself a Lavender Lemonade Cider ($8) which was a great deal and a fun drink to visually see being poured on tap. Service here was quick and painless, and I was able to get my drink and pay with no issues. For a bar inside a coffee shop, they got it going on and I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a more low-key experience.”
“Had an absolutely stellar burger here today and the carrot cake was gorgeous. Great vibes in this place and the ladies running it have wonderful energy. It's so rare to find healthy, tasty and fulfilling plant based food at this standard.Needless to say, I'm looking forward to returning.Highly, highly recommended!”
“This may be the best restaurant in Los gatos. Food, service, atmosphere fantastic. Lamb and beef are perfection. Appetizers are unique in taste and textures. The bar makes incredible mixed drinks. Coupled with great wine, and amazing desserts you can't go wrong. This is a great date destination, but also for business dinners or to impress your friends and family. So stop reading this and make reservations - it will not disappoint.”
“Wall-to-wall ice cream flavors to rival Willy Wonka. Bring a friend, loved one, or family members to share in the best sundaes experience and memories. I highly recommend the 'Epicenter' on the menu. Staff is generous with the portion-sizes and very customer focused.”
“This place is amazing and worth the stop! The pastries and coffee are delicious. You must try the bombolini! The pizza looks and smells appetizing but I have yet to try it. Staff is friendly, facilities are clean and I've never had trouble with parking.”
