Koja has been in the area for a few years now and while it was okay when I first tried it, I've had a much better experience now with new management and their menu.They're known for their koja which is a bun made of crispy rice with your choice of protein in the middle. I recently ordered takeout from Koja Kitchen, and I have to say it was a fantastic decision! The flavors in their Korean-Japanese fusion dishes were outstanding, even when enjoyed at home. Close to Cal campus and really good food. I ordered the short rib bowl and the ribs were very tender and the sauce was good. I also ordered the loaded fries and they were tasty too. Would go again and try other things.
