This is absolutely delicious food. The mole poblano is my current favorite. Also love the enchiladas verdes - which are sometimes a little spicy. And the fish tacos are great - fresh tasting and much larger than most other places. And if you're in the mood for something sweet the chocoflan is perfect. When the weather is nice the outdoor seating is great, otherwise there are only a couple tables inside. The fact that they have a parking lot in the back makes it convenient.
I ordered the Chicken Mole Poblano burrito. It was pretty big, filled with a lot of chicken. I would have liked a good balance of the onions and jalapeño, but not complaining about how much chicken was stuffed in this big boy.A McDonald’s meal now costs you $16 bucks, basic fast food vs this. Solid place to get Mexican food at. It's consistently good and satisfying at a good price. I love coming here. The food is comforting and the staff are friendly. The outdoor seating area is very fresh and airy, cozy- great given that it's in Berkeley near the freeway to it's surroundings are very different.
