Solid place to get Mexican food at. It's consistently good and satisfying at a good price. I love coming here. The food is comforting and the staff are friendly. The outdoor seating area is very fresh and airy, cozy- great given that it's in Berkeley near the freeway to it's surroundings are very different.

Great low key Mexican restaurant with a neighborly vibe. Got the spicy mole flautas and will have to return to try more things on the menu. De-lish!!!!!

Great food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff. Choose indoor dining or the quaint outdoor garden patio. I recommend the sangria.

I was surprised to find my burrito to be so dry. Not only were the beans and rice desiccated, but I paid extra for cheese in a beans, rice and cheese burrito and I don't think they put very much cheese in there. Also asked for salsa which did not make it any more appealing. This should be a no-brainer to be a good dish at any restaurant so I won't be coming back here. The only cool thing about this place is it's in an old Taco Bell.

Excellent service, excellent cuisine, the fajitas reign supreme. Many thanks to Axel for ensuring our visit was unforgettable.

I always order the Chili Verde pork burrito with refried beans and NO rice or other add ons. It is so delicious! It is perfect.

This is absolutely delicious food. The mole poblano is my current favorite. Also love the enchiladas verdes - which are sometimes a little spicy. And the fish tacos are great - fresh tasting and much larger than most other places. And if you're in the mood for something sweet the chocoflan is perfect. When the weather is nice the outdoor seating is great, otherwise there are only a couple tables inside. The fact that they have a parking lot in the back makes it convenient.

I ordered the Chicken Mole Poblano burrito. It was pretty big, filled with a lot of chicken. I would have liked a good balance of the onions and jalapeño, but not complaining about how much chicken was stuffed in this big boy.A McDonald’s meal now costs you $16 bucks, basic fast food vs this. I’d rather support a small business and get some authentic Mexican food. It was juicy, flavorful and the mole sauce was a good balance. The jalapeños and onions added texture and extra spice.I came around 9:30PM, was served a hot burrito within 10 minutes or so. Service was good too, they gave me extra salsa and weren’t stingy. Some places charge you extra like Que? I’d come here again!

While the building looks very Tex-Mex it becomes apparently clear the moment you step in that this place is not. With a beautiful patio to sit and enjoy whatever you like the atmosphere is just as good as the food. I highly recommend anything mole.
