After passing Yin Ji Chang Fen on Center Street about a thousand times, I stopped in one day for a to-go order of rice noodles. Specifically, I selected the rice noodle roll with dry shrimp and scallions. The price of $8.50 + tax + tip suggested that I was taking home a full lunch. There wasn't all that much to eat; I'm glad that I had some handy leftovers in my fridge. Love this place! The ingredients are good quality, and everything is so well prepared. The rice rolls are a perfect lunch, my favorite is the marinated beef and shrimp. The way they make congee is so good that my friend who's spent a lot of time in China says it's the best she's ever had. Try the li wan assorted congee if you can't decide which one.

Everything here hit the spot for me! All the food was so comforting for such a cheap price. I'd definitely recommend any of the beef stew noodle soups, congees, and steamed rice noodles! It's a lowkey spot and all the food came out super quick!
