“Loved the Malibu bowl with the Tahiti sauce. Tasted like poke but with tofu. They recently moved (about 3 weeks ago) and the location is larger and can better accommodate the usual crowds (there are 3 computers to order which makes it faster/way less wait). The decor is super cute; tropical/Caribbean island meets desert…? My kids loved it. The food was good! I do wish they had more than one vegan option, but it was quite tasty.”

“I know it's a saloon, but after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures, I decided to take the family. It was delicious. All the kids liked it. They even devoured the cheese sticks, and I had to order another one. And they were huge. The hamburgers were juicy. The kids felt out of place at first, but as soon as the food arrived, all their worries left. I'm glad they are family-friendly.”

“Hands down the best breakfast my husband and I have ever had while traveling. I had the mexican scramble with beans and the freshest flour tortillas. My husband had the eggs Benedict and he said it was the best one he's had in his entire life. This place is phenomenal.”

“Glad to see Sandy's is back and the food blew our minds! We had actually wanted to get Murrays but they were jam packed and not accepting take out orders. We drove around and saw that Sandy's was open again. The food was incredible. Had the fish & chips, spicy chicken and slaw sandwich and an order of onion rings. Best of each we've had in a long time. Next time we're in big bear we will definitely be back at Sandy's!”

“The primary focus of this establishment is the culinary experience. The ingredients utilized are fresh and quality cuts of meats. They are expertly prepared by their skilled chefs. It looked like a Mexican mom and pop establishment, but the food was amazing!! I had ordered a Chicken Chimichanga with red sauce (wet), and the size of the burrito and generous amounts of sauce was killer good. ( No gristle, no bone, or dried out poor cuts of chicken) Only the good portions perfectly made. My husband had the steak fajitas. He kept commenting on what good cuts of steak they used and how delicious his food was. SORRY, but my huge wet chicken Chimichanga didn't have a chance to get its photo taken!!”

“If you’re looking to get married, or a venue for a large gathering I would recommend Santana Mavericks 1000%!! We just had our wedding here on the 19th. Susana, and her team outdid themselves. They took care of all of the decor, set up, food, and clean up. They completely exceeded our expectations, and made the day incredibly special for us. The views are incredible, and the atmosphere was so romantic. We had the most amazing wedding day, and I can’t thank Santana Mavericks and the staff enough. The food was incredible, and all of our friends and family had the best time.”

“When I was California I lost my backpack with wallet all cc money and DL. I was at Big Bear lake. The beginning of our trip. Well the owner of Big Bear Brewery found me on FB messenger mailed my backpack with all its belongings. Even the cash. Good people do exist Richard thank you! I encourage everyone to try Big Bear Mountain Brewery. The Ruben sandwich is the real deal!”

“The only reason I recommend them is because the desserts are so good. The line to order was chaotic, not very orderly. The girl took my order , rang me up and handed me my treats. I walked out with my friend and decided to check we had everything. We were shorted 1 thing. My friend went back in to get what she was shorted. Soon I went back in to see what was taking so long. The girl behind the counter took all of our treats back, checked a bunch of receipts and had another co worker help her. Then she asked me for my change back but barely remembered I paid with cash not a card. She had charged me correctly but forgotten an item. FINALLY got the correct treats so we took it and left. I drive 50 minutes home and open my bags. Guess what, I’m now missing something. After all that, the incompetent girl still messes up and shorts me. I never write bad reviews but driving all the way home to find you don’t have everything you paid for is such a bummer”

I had the huevos rancheros and they there the best I forget what else the family had but they loved it as well and we are sure to be back next time we visit really recommend 10/10”

“I’ve been coming to Big Bear for years and have never tried this place because HOW can Indian food in a small American mountain town be good? Well, I’m a dummy for not coming here sooner. The Baingan Bharta was the best I’ve ever had and I live in a major city! They have a few vegan sections on the menu with plenty of options. Even the vegetarian options have their own space on the menu. The paratha was warm and held up so that I was able to scoop up my curry with it. The only thing that was a bit different than I’ve had before were the pakoras which were massive and had some thick cuts of veggies in them. They were still very delicious and I did end up eating them all.”

“I live here in big bear I have ordered the teriyaki chicken sandwich no bread 6 to 7 times never has it has it had cheese so how would I know it had cheese I didn't look at menu because I just new they had it so tonight it had cheese on no biggy I thought I can just pull the cheese off oh no cuz the whole dinner was soaking in 2 inches of grease their response is well it has cheese on so basically too bad...we go their so much they new my husband's name just by telling them what I ordered...but no more they make so much money off non locals they could care less about loyal customers I'll take my money else where not sure where cuz nobody really cares any more pictures in comments”

“Classic bar. The decor is great, with lots of hardwood and a fireplace. Bartenders are skilled and friendly. Whiskey selection is extensive. Only 4 beer taps, but they're thoughtfully curated to provide a variety of good, mostly local beers.”

“Charming Spot, Delicious Food, and Outstanding Service
We recently dined at La Pergola and were thoroughly impressed. The location is perfect, nestled in the heart of The Village, which was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights during our visit. It added a lovely touch to the overall ambiance.
We were blown away by the service – truly 5-star quality! The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome.
The food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Pasta Alfredo Di Verde, which was a pleasant surprise. It wasn't something we would typically order, but it was recommended, and we were not disappointed!
We were so full from our meal that we couldn't resist taking a cannolo to go. And let me tell you, it was a great decision! We devoured it later, and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our experience.
Overall, La Pergola provided a wonderful dining experience. The combination of delicious food, impeccable service, and charming location makes it a must-visit when in Big Bear. We highly recommend it!”

“The food here was absolutely incredible. The beef skewers, honey walnut shrimp and twice cooked pork belly was amazing. Food came out super quick. We got 3 dishes between 2 of us and left stuffed. They are short staffed so I found it quite incredible most of our visit there was one gentleman doing it all. Taking orders, delivery food, picking up plates and processing payments. All while being super polite and helpful, he is full of great food recommendations. Definitely a must try, the food was so amazing I forgot to take pictures of everything.”

“I ordered a large pepperoni pizza with spaghetti and meat sauce. The pizza was delicious, fresh, and well baked. I wasn't impressed with their spaghetti. It was bland. The garlic bread was ok. Overall, I would recommend the pizza here. Great customer service. Nice atmosphere.”

“If you are hungry or thinking about where to eat tasty and filling, you should come here! It is very, very tasty!!!! The portions are large, there is a lot of meat and it is really tasty, you have definitely not tried such a burrito anywhere. I tried the Burrito and it is huge and incredibly tasty, today I took the Quesadilla, Oh, God, it is unrealistically tasty. I definitely recommend it!!!!”
