“We were in town visiting from Orange County and definitely wanted to get some great barbecue and based on the reviews, we decided to visit the cook shack. Despite being a little tricky to find, it was well worth the effort. We had pulled pork burgers and brisket burgers, and they were fantastic. And the sides were amazing, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese. And the service was fantastic. One of the cofounders came out and made us feel extremely welcome and appreciative for our business. Would highly recommend people venture off the beaten path to dine at this fantastic restaurant!“

“I LOVE this place! the service was great. we were tended to quickly and the hostess and waitress were extremely kind. the food was mouth watering. the outdoor patio was adorable. the hostess, Jackie, was an incredibly hard working young lady and made sure we had a great experience.“

“The food tastes just like any other McDonald's. I found it weird that they had 3 windows i was waiting for awhile to see someone at a window until I was at the first window. Someone waved their hand I just that you pay and receive your food at the same window I guess.“
