“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat. Everything I have ordered has been amazing. The French toast has a delicious flavor with this cool light sugar crunch coating. The blueberry pancakes are wonderful and taste better than my pancakes which is saying something because I make great pancakes. The corn beef is perfectly smoked and is the best I have ever tried. The home made biscuits and gravy are too die for. This place is definitely worth the try you will be pleased with the deciduousness. The coffee is amazing as well. The only down side would be they are closed three days a week and that's not good if your are craving their great food and coffee.“

“We can’t recommend the staff at THE LUCKY BUCK enough! While driving, we hit a deer right near their restaurant. We pulled into their parking lot and realized our car was undrivable. They took very good care of us and let us use their phone and wifi so we could make arrangements for another vehicle. The waitstaff (Christina and Charity) took really good care of our kids while we made calls and worked with local law enforcement on the issue. The next day, Jennifer and Jessica let us stay in their sideroom/bar area while we waited for our new vehicle and they made sure to check in on us every so often to make sure we had everything we needed. They were so kind and caring and compassionate and we will never forget them! Thank you all so much! (We have even recommended to friends going to the area to stop at your place!)“

“My first experience here when it was brand new wasn't fantastic . Looking for food, saw good rating and 3 ribs for a reasonable price. When I got there and ordered 2, the owner offered the same price for 1/2 rack. Tasty with dry rub and sauce on the side. They have brocoli for dinner and made me a side for lunch .“

“We've had a cabin in Groveland for 20 years! Over the past couple of years, there has been some 'new life' in the Groveland area. Provisions (Groveland Motel) is a breath of fresh air! Live music, very chill outdoor seating, full bar, etc. My wife and I had dinner this past Saturday and it was just amazing! We have a plant based diet and chef Sean is awesome! “My wife and I spent our 34year anniversary at Seven Sister's for dinner from a gift card our kids gave me for my birthday, and our waiter was Tim. It was fabulous and Tim was top notch. He is an excellent waiter and such a delightful personality. I think it had to have been our best experience ever at this restaurant. The food was the best ever and again the service couldn't have been any better. “The food is DELISH here!!!! We were visiting the area for 3 days and ended up having breakfast there 2 days. We HAD to go back! They have the standard offerings as well as some creative and amazing options too. I highly recommend the Papa’s Hen House Hash, Country Fried Steak, or any of the Hash’s. They were great. Service was fast, personal, and knowledgeable. Looking forward to our next trip out so I can eat here again!!Kid-friendliness: Good place for kids. The servers were great with providing high chairs and have a kids menu. Didn’t feel out of place with my newborn and 2 year old. “We arrived in Groveland today in anticipation of visiting Yosemite. It was too hot to cook, so we headed to town and found this place for dinner.The history here is really cool, having been a business in this building (in one form or another) for over 150 years. The food was good and the service was excellent, as was the atmosphere.My only gripe is that we were charged "large group" gratuity for my wife and I and our four kids. That was sketchy by itself, but in light of the fact that servers in CA are already being paid a living wage by force of government, it feels even sketchier.It wouldn't stop me from coming back - the server was great, and I'd have tipped him anyway. I just don't like surprises. I've always tipped well because I knew servers depended on it, but that's just not the case anymore in California.Vegetarian options: They had a few vegetarian options.Parking: There is free parking across the street, but I could see it being difficult when they're busy. We were there at 3pm so it was no problem.Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly, with a kid's menu too.Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure about this. Parking is a little difficult and there are steps at the front door. There may be an accessible back door that I didn't see, though.“
