“Came for a visit from LA and the customer service was beyond exceptional. Food was top notch too. I had the ribeye and my dad had the rack of lamb. Child had spaghetti n and meatballs. We were all very pleased. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: They were very accommodating with my 7 year old. Have a kids menu and crayons and coloring sheet.“
“Visiting Mariposa/Yosemite with some girl friends and went to 1850 Restaurant & Brewery for our first night out! We were seated fairly promptly for a 5 top table with no reservation and the service was great! We got all of our food quick and in the perfect time sequence - drinks first, appetizer second (with time to finish and digest), and entrees shortly after we finished our appetizer. The decor was adorable, between the wine corks and sliding doors between 2 tables. The Ahi nachos were unreal! I highly recommend those - the ahi tuna felt and tasted fresh, and the ginger soy + wasabi ranch drizzle added so much sweet, spicy, and creamy flavor. The wonton nachos were also deliciously fried. The chicken salad was the perfect, light meal. The baked salmon was another good option, although i didn't love the sweetness of the fig dollop on top - the fig taste took over. The drinks we ordered were creative, fun, and tasted delicious. A little sweet, but can't complain too much about that. Great first night out in Mariposa!“
“This place is a slice of heaven. Not only are their drinks delicious, they have this hidden menu worth exploring. I recommend their tacos where their meat is smoked daily, their pizza whose crust is to die for and their company who are always welcoming and a good time. Check out this hidden spot for its vibe isn’t so hidden.“
“On a road trip from Yosemite... Passing through town and wanted breakfast after a couple days hiking... The happy goat opened in September 23, and everything inside looks new with an old touch of the 1800s.. The weight staff was super friendly, and Melissa and Mercedes helped us get settled. All the many options of crafted food looked awesome, I got the avocado toast special, which was small portion, but delicious... with a side of chicken unduly soup, which was also delicious... Come support this place. The history behind it from their farm 10 miles away. Holds true good luck with everything. Thank you“
“The desserts were delicious. We got a lemon bar, toffee bar and chocolate chip cookies. All were great with the cookie being our favorite. I also got a candle for $20 which is made by an artist who sells her product in this shop. I love the opportunity to support small businesses.“
“Love the liver and onions but better still was the bartender, Anthony. True professional. Sometimes you go into a place and think ‘what the hell am I doing here?’ He was the answer. Friendly, smart and as hard working as anyone I’ve seen. And made the perfect martini.?Thanks bro, and thanks Miner’s Roadhouse. As Arnold said, ‘I’ll be back.’“
“Since moving to the Yosemite area from LA I miss good Mexican cooking but got a taste of it today at The Oasis. My husband stops in on his route and raves about the breakfast burritos. (They offer 2 sizes,) Today I visited for the first time and tried the Chile Rellenos. The generously portioned dish was great, perfectly cooked just how I like it! The owner Araceli showed me the cute little park area they're developing right next to the cafe for parties, BBQs etc. She has plans for this corner! Thanks Oasis, I look forward to returning to try more of your delicious food. The Oasis owner Araceli showing me an Old Rose. The Oasis owner Araceli showing me an Old Rose. “This restaurant is amazing! The menu changes slightly every day so you have a variety of options to choose from. The dinner menu rotates from different varieties of steak, pork, chicken, fish, and sandwich. They also have vegetarian options and vegan options. The breakfast and lunch menu remains the same though. For dinner, I liked their fish dishes the most. I had salmon and rockfish, both times the fish was cooked perfectly. For breakfast I recommend the huevos rancheros or American breakfast. The hash browns are some of the best hash browns I've had! They're crispy and cooked to perfection.“
“❤️Rakeye steak: just the right amount of doneness and sweetness, the mashed potatoes are delicate and dense, a classic American creation❤️pasta chipotle: Thin flat Italian noodles with slightly spicy sauce, I really like this special Mexican taste❤️Cheese Cake: Rich and salty, mellow and milky, this must-have American dessert is a sinful choice.Mariposa, a small, chic town near YosemiteThe atmosphere is very good, the clerk seems to have specially selected them and they are all pretty.Warm service, good food, a little romanticIt’s a good choice for a dinner date. Don’t forget to come after visiting Yosemite.“
