“The restaurant has a very nice view of the ocean in a cozy place. You can expect a few minutes waiting for a table if you come in a peak hour, so I recommend stopping by early to get a nice spot. The food was good and prices are high, compatible with the place.“
“Chicken apple sausage and mushroom Benedict, my favorite! And the breakfast potatoes are great!Vegetarian options: On the eggs benedict you can choose what you want and you can choose all vegetarian if you like. There is also great French toast and pancakes so a lot of breakfast items could be vegetarian.“
“Majestic experience, I felt transported into a shared but intimately private experience. The gentle decor and soft spotlight created a welcoming environment for conversation. The food was top notch but seasoning was not always to my preference. Nonetheless, I plan to return and recommend it to anyone considering visiting!“
“Quiet little place, good menu, great coffee and even better food. The salad was extremely fresh and had a light and flavorful dressing. Dishes are fairly priced at between $12-$19, which is a deal for the quality of food. Enjoyed the Greek dish with pita and hummus as well as a finely cooked hamburger. The ambience is great. The front side featured fire pits while the back offered a unique dining option of seating along the edge of a relatively steep drop-off overlooking a river (among traditional tables). Highly recommend visiting if staying in the area or passing through while visiting Big Sur.“
“We unfortunately got stuck here on Hwy 1. , N and S both ways -due to mud slide- have been blocked today . We ended up visiting 3 different restaurants near by, and first 2 were over priced yet super busy and not sure about the attitude we received was kind enough. I really do appreciate the kindness and the good quality food & service we received from this beautiful restaurant. Not sure if I am coming back to Big Sur area again but I live in LA so I am definitely recommending this beautiful place . Please do yourself a favor and order the beet salad ! Make sure to crown your dining experience with a scrumptious dessert ? ?Dietary restrictions: I appreciate the vegetarian and seafood dishes !! As a Mediterranean, I am not into eating bacon, sausage etc ? Need to come back for breakfast for sure !Kid-friendliness: They offer pasta for kids, fresh squeezed OJ is yummy !!“
“Close to the campsite we were staying at, this looked like a nice place to get dinner. I wasn't hungry but at the same time, I wasn't sure what time breakfast was going to be the next day. I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich which had chips and a pickle. For a drink I ordered a light beer. My friend ordered a chicken quesadilla and a rootbeer. The vibe is definitely a cabin feel the rain outside made it feel like that even more.“
“It has a great American vibe and the fish tacos where really great! My friend got the meatloaf and that was also pretty tasty. The prices are reasonable and the whole experience was just goodParking: It had it own parking spots, when we were there it wasn't too busy“
“Super intimate sushi bar overlooking the ocean. Wild Coast Sushi at Treebones is one of our absolute favorite places! They have two omakase seatings a night for around 8 people at a time. Focus is on local fish, and it's super fresh and delicious.During our stay at Treebones last year we had a Friday reservation and ended up loving it so much that we scooped up a rare last minute opening for Saturday as well!“
“Had dinner here. Ate inside but deck looked inviting next to flowing river and with lots of heat lamps. Had the best salad of my life, their winter beet salad with salmon and avocado added. Everything was perfectly cooked and service was friendly and attentive. Pricey but worth it.“
“Recently had dinner here for an event. The staff was so kind to heat up my boxed meal and even provided a plate of mashed potatoes complementary when I missed out on them. The food was top notch and the location is one of the best most epically beautiful venues in the world. Sitting my the fireplace and eating the superb mashed potatoes is something I'll always remember. Also a staff member assisted me in retrieving my things from a dark place in the forest where I had left them and didn't want to go alone at night and another staff member gave me directions.“
“The buffalo cauliflower bites, beer-battered fries, and burger were all good. The orange chicken salad was big and good; only remark was they forgot to dress it. Our waitress was clearly inexperienced but that just made it adorable. The atmosphere of the Lodge, taken as a whole, with the lobby, gift area, trails is great. The outdoor river side dining is nice. Bars inside and out. Drinks were reasonably priced but the prices of the food offset that.“
“while you driving by pacific coast over route 1 and lunch time and you are near to bixby bridge , wanna eat and enjoy serenity of pacific ocean , then this is the perfect place to enjoy your gustatory and visual satisfaction, serve professional and friendly , foods are “
“Our lodge in the middle of the night drive home was Big Sur. My family was frustrated to learn that a recent landslide had blocked a road and had to take a detour. So we decided to grab a bite to eat and drive out to survive, and we went in there without even thinking about ordering a sandwich. Oh my god, it was such a tough chicken sandwich to describe how I felt. An old lady at work made it for me. We baked the common bread and added some tough chicken and dark muggy leaves in between. I highly recommend it. It was a tough chicken sandwich.“
“Food & drinks: Well, the Angus rib eye steak was great bar none. It was the roasted chicken. i ordered it and immediately i could not stomach the taste. The waitress was wonderful, but i felt that the waitress saw that the chicken was still whole and knew i could not stomach it. It just tasted like chicken and it needed more herbs. There was nothing to accomodate my distaste for it. Well, i guess me explaining that it needed more spice was enough, but nothing else was offered to me to make up for what i didn't like. Case in point, even if you like chicken, don't eat this one because you will be disappointed.“
“About a week ago my now husband and I eloped at the Post Ranch Inn and everything about it was perfect! We wanted a stress free and intimate ceremony amongst the trees and that’s exactly what we got. The event coordinator, Derek, was great and made sure that we were taken care of and happy each step of the way. We stayed in the pacific suite and it was beyond beautiful, along with the entire Post Ranch property. It was magical and we cannot say enough good things!“
