It's a traditional place that has made it's way into the modern fast food industry.I got a bbq sandwich from them. And their way of making it was unique, and enjoyable. For a fast food shop they were remarkably quick and they provided generous portions.Atmosphere wise, it was a busy night. Folks were rushing around to keep up, and they had ample staffing present. Folks were kind all around, even while rushing to make good time on everything.Customer base stayed out of each other's business. Didn't have any problems with anyone. Area wasn't bad either. Felt good to be there.“

“OMG, any New Yorker or Philly-ian would love love love the Philly cheesesteak from this place. In house made bread, it was well cheesesd, Onions, juices dripping it was so good. I ate my self stuff. Then ate this cold and before I gave what I could to my son to verify I'm not crazy. It was so hard to let this sandwich go but I was full and ut was getting late and it deserved to be eaten I had to give it to him. But Brava!“
“I've been coming here for years. Once you have their subs, you won't want anything else. All of their staff is friendly and worth meeting. Full bar, their signature cocktails are all worth trying ? and don't forget karaoke nights on Saturday ?“
“Great food!! The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because they close waaay too early. They say they close at 3, but there are times they close 30-45 mins before that. Besides that the place is great for sandwiches.Parking: It's a small business in a busy parking lot so it can be hard to find parking.“

The bread is outstanding and their meats and cheeses are real slices not the microscopic see-through slices that the largest sandwich shop in the country tries to pass as food.Vegetarian options: They have a couple of vegetarian options. “Each community has spots that are unique to their culture. Backstreet is one of those places for Riverside. A bit off the beaten path with limited parking, and only open a few hours a day. If you're a local though, you've been here many times and it's earned a special place in your heart. The food is great, but the atmosphere and the opportunity to spend time enjoying the outdoors on their back patio with loved ones makes it even more special. A unique spot that does their own thing and does it well.“

“I used to come in here multiple times a week after classes and on my way to work. I have not been home in 10 years and this was my favorite sandwich. Its still the same amazing sandwich shop. Getting my order and biting in made me feel like home immediately. I do not think anything changed. I stopped at quite a few places I used to frequent and missed this feeling. I have been trying to find a replacement pastrami sandwich since I left and I never found it. I do not think I ever will. I wish I could have gone in every day I was visiting.“

“I ordered the boss footlong with a double toast, and it was the best sandwich from a restaurant I ever ate. The only reason anybody complains about Subway is that they do not know about ordering a double-toasted sub. And with the boss, it tastes like an upgraded hot pocket with much more protein. Highly recommend. Also, the staff is really friendly and answers any questions asked of them. So no excuse to be rude in the end.“
