“Low & Slow BBQ. Tried tri -tip, pork loin, and shredded chicken. All were cooked well and tasty. They have variety of sauces. Their sign indicated closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. My first experience and it appears they have specialties each day. I enjoyed their fried pickles it was great.“

I paid $16 for a carnitas burrito, plus tip. That’s borderline inexcusable. I could go to any other local Mexican restaurant and get a complete dinner for that same price.The price increase makes me never want to go there again“

“Frankies has become a staple treat, can’t find a better bagel or flavors!!! So many roatating choices and all amazing. I went weird this week, Kalamata olive bagels, jalapeño cream cheese and red onions, I could eat that combination every day and never get enough, we appreciate how many ways we can customize our order and my son loves the donuts I am not much of a sweet person but the original donut holes are my go to! “I enjoyed my meal at Kebab Cafe. The food tasted good. My large falafel sandwich left me full and had a great combination of flavors and textures with each bite. I wish there was a tahini sauce option, but the red pepper sauce is tasty in its own right.“

“Holy cow. I had the Korean street tacos with shrimp and I think I realized what heaven is. They were so delicious. We sat outside because it is a food truck but by no means is it fast food. I would eat these tacos for breakfast lunch and dinner. The only issue is they don't have a location in Arcata or Eureka. I WILL BE coming back. We enjoyed the tacos on a beautiful, warm but arguably windy day and we had been struggling to find a place to eat and luckily this place was open and operating.“

Have gone to a couple of popup food events and the drinks and atmosphere are great. The fold-open front with heaters is perfectly comfortable even on a February evening. Recommend.“

The prices are good but being an outlet store I try not to buy what won't be eaten shortly after purchase. I know the price here was low because right after I went to the restaurant supply store and noticed my savings.“

“Every town deserves a delicious soup shop. Great place for a cup of yellow curry soup. I highly recommend both the hot noodle bowl and the cold noodle salad. They are both HUGE portions and so customizable you can get something different every time you come in. The basil vinaigrette is my absolute favorite on a cold noodle salad, but my partner loves the wasabi vinaigrette. A great place for a fresh and delicious lunch or dinner. I always feel good after I eat here, the food makes me feel energized rather than tired and sluggish.“

“Best lunch place in McKinleyville, best sandwiches in Humboldt County for sure, but the staff has been struggling lately and things are inconsistent. After some recent staff changes, I’m now charged a different price for the same custom sandwich every single time I order it and twice I’ve ordered ahead only to receive the incorrect sandwich. Staff is apologetic, but it’s annoying to have this happen frequently and it seems maybe it should be made right with a sandwich on the house or a coupon for a bag of chips or something. The last time they messed up, they didn’t answer their phone, so I had to drive all the way back to get things fixed after I had already driven there once and waited in the long line just for them to give me the wrong sandwich. I love this place and appreciate the kind staff, but whoever is training them on logistics needs to step it up. Not sure what the point of ordering ahead is, if you then wait in a long line for your food anyway. Online ordering system only lets you select one “extra” so you can’t pick avocado and cheese on the same sandwich and it wants to charge you $1.75 to cut the salami portion in half, which makes no sense. This place used to run like a well-oiled machine. I’m hopeful they can get back to that.“
