“Went for a bachelorette party. We had such a great time the strippers, the service for most, was taking good care of us. Our drinks were coming on time. If I felt too drunk, she went to the restroom to check up on me really great experience. Hazel was really attentive and gave us an awesome experience. The ambience there gets lit by 10 PM. I recommend this place to anyone that's trying to have a good time in a super nice less crowded place like downtown, they had reggetton in one room and Banda salsa and bachata in the next room. It's a 4 because I asked for a shoutout and paid the DJ and he never did it but props for the good music lol thank you will be coming back with my girls!!“

I'm a 2nd generation repeat customer with my 3rd generation of family members happy joining me for the following reason. There is NOTHING on Caribbean Taste's menu that we wouldn't want to order... Everything made is fresh, deliciously tasty and made with original Jamaican authenticity that cannot be compared. Although I live 45 minutes away, there's still no other Jamaican restaurant I'd consider as a substitute just out of convenience. Ever since my parents and family became repeat customers, the service has always been that of quality and genuine good vibes. Like the owners and most of the staff, the ambiance of the restaurant is incomparably authentic Jamaican as well. No regrets.“

“So happy I was able to experience this lovely cafe. The gentleman behind the bar was there was so pleasant. He answered all of my questions and engaged with each customer in a such caring manner. For dinks they had coffee, regular kombucha, and hemp infused kombucha. (There were probably more options but that's what I saw)Both flavors of the hemp infused kombucha were delicious. That was my first time having hemp kombucha and it totally relaxed my mind and body. I ordered 2 Jamaican patties cabbage & tofu. I had to wait a while because they were being made fresh. When they came out both were so delicious they were seasoned, soft, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. My picky 5 year old loved the tofu patty. This is the best cafe I've ever been to. It's afrocentric, healthy, and everything is of the highest quality!“

Only thing is sometimes u don't get plantains with your order and sometimes it's a smaller order when u order a large but I always get the oxtails they're so good and they always put gravy on the rice without asking it's my favorite Jamaican restaurant in San Diego !!“

“After a disappointing day u craved Jamaican food I was closed to this location so I stopped by. I ordered the curry goat and it was very flavorful and spicy just how I love it. it's very rare to find good jamaican food ij san diego so I really enjoyed this meal. not very pricey compared to other Caribbean restuarants I've tried. the people ser ING is very hospitable. I definitely recommend“

“Literally my favorite Caribbean cuisine spot in all of San Diego. And I've tried damn near all of them. Hands down best jerk chicken. Only reason why they got 4 out of 5 is because I like Mac and cheese. Which is literally my deciding factor“
