My Carribean island here in San Diego! Everyone is great here. Food, music, and company.Every Saturday night is Caribe night! The main floor plays Bachata, Salsa, and Merengue! They even have a free salsa / bachata dance class from 8 that 9.Other than that, my go to plates is the Papa Rellena with the Jibarito plate with steak and fried plantains. (Video shown)
It’s the Pollo Frito y Arroz con Gandules, Maduros, y Flancocho for me. I so love this place! Every week the Flancocho flavor changes, but my favorite is the pineapple. Try any meal with a Kola Champagne. If you know then you know! As a Dominican woman, this is the closest thing to home in San Diego for me. ???

Family centric and friendly with a variety of Puerto Rican and Dominican dishes. The owner sat with us and have to say was impressed by her hospitality. Looking forward to trying more on the menu! My fav was the Yucca dishes, Dominican Burger, Plantain bowls, Tostones… yummy!?
