“Taquizas Tommy did a fabulous job catering my Mexican themed bridal shower! Tommy’s wife, Maria, and Miguel cooked an amazing feast that everyone raved about. The meat was flavorful, the rice and beans were delicious. Everybody was full and happy. Communication, service, and food were 5 stars and we look forward to using Tommy and his team again soon!“

“Chef Joann was an absolute pleasure to work with. When we first reached out to Chef Joann, she was a little bit out of our price range, but she was able to work with us and our budget in order to be the caterer for our wedding. We went and met Joann and did a food tasting with her and she was so hospitable and nice we knew we had found the caterer for us, not to mention the food was absolutely amazing. Luckily, Chef Joann had worked our venue before so that took all the worries and stress from trying to plan and connect her with our venue and coordinator. She was able to work with us, even through all the craziness of 2020 and we were able to figure out a way to make things work efficiently and safely without jeopardizing the layout or food. The bartenders she was able to bring went above and beyond and really helped to get the party started for our wedding. They were constantly bringing my wife and I drinks as we would be empty handed and socializing with our guests. It was really cool how well the entire crew took care of not only us but all of our guests. With me being the wayI am, I wanted to help Joann and her crew and she would joke with me to be quiet, have fun and get married. It really felt like a family member or close friend was there, had our back and was taking care of us. It was a really cool dynamic and took all the stress out of the day. The food Joann conjures up is not easily put into words. The appetizers she did for the cocktail hour as well as the cheese boards she created for each table were astounding. They were above and beyond anything we had expected. I had guests coming up to me all night commenting on how amazing the cocktail hour was along with the dinner. We are so happy we picked Joann to take control and be a part of our big day. I would highly recommend Joann to anyone who wants amazing a delectable food from someone who is so easy going and easy to work with, you feel like you have known them for years. “Every Friday, our community does a food truck Friday and we've honestly never gone. Most times, I google the food truck and the reviews aren't great, so we figure it isn't worth it. But this was the first time I saw an all 5 star spot, so we had to give it a try. Their menu was concise with three options: burrito bowl, burrito and tacos. They had four meat options: barbacoa, cochinita, asada and pollo. I decided to get the cochinita burrito and my husband ordered the barbacoa, but the burritos accidentally got swapped and we ate each others. They were both good, but the cochinita was definitely the winner! I'm not usually someone who will eat beans, but I loved the ones they used in this burrirto. They were peruanos and were super soft and tender. I really loved the spicy salsa that it came with. It had a nice kick that was super fun! I really hope La Burre makes it back to our community because their food was delicious!“

“I want to start this review stating, I do not eat fish unless it is battered and fried. So, naturally, the only way I'll eat a fish taco is a battered and fried fish taco. I ordered the chipotle fish taco, not knowing it was not a fried fish taco. I was hesitant, but after I took my first bite... I couldn't believe how insanely delicious this taco was!!!! Not only was it absolutely flavorful... it was a large fish taco!!! So many good flavors! The fish was not fishy or mushy and was seasoned and possibly pan fried to give a texture contrast. The chipotle sauce was yummy and had that kick that I love. Loved all the fresh toppings too which makes a fish taco so yummy and balanced! We all ordered something different. My daughter ordered the Baja style and the ginger fish taco! She said she could eat probably 4 more that they were that good! My youngest, who is not a fish person ordered a plain carnitas and she was impressed! Last, but definitely not least... I have to mention the staff! Hector and staff were so nice and friendly, which I always appreciate! Will definitely be seeing them again to eat more fish tacos! I'm so impressed with their fish tacos (not battered and fried btw) that I must try their others! It's funny cause my mom can't even get me to eat fish like that... haha!!!!“

“I’m obsessed with this place. It’s family owned and they’ve been around for a while. I’ve been coming here since before the pandemic. The food is top notch and they give great portions. I typically get the gyro plate & hummus. The man who takes the orders is always so friendly and sweet. It’s an all around great establishment!“

“I am so incredibly late making this review, but Terra was absolutely phenomenal for our wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden in September. They are a preferred vendor for the Garden, but they were by far the most personable and down to earth of all the recommendations. Terra is so incredibly customizable and they work so hard to make sure you are getting what you want and it's honestly for an almost unbelievable price. Everyone we worked with was so awesome, and the food is excellent! The catering went off without a single hitch. They were perfect!“

“First made the drive down to Blue Poke for a Yelp event, but came back a few times when I found myself in the area. There are a few other blue pokes that have since opened closer to central San Diego with one in North Park, but I think the quality varies from location to location- this location in National City being the best! First of all, the design of the store is so fun and I could tell it was clean and well maintained. I had a delicious poke bowl with my favorite spicy ahi (minced style). They have a good number of toppings to choose from along with great sauces. This is what I like to call "chipotle style" poke where you build your bowl, but everything was good! Easy parking to grab your bowl for take-out!“

“Good Italian restaurant with a dog friendly patio. We were here on a Monday night and for the most part we were the only people there. The patio has glass around it which made it feel pretty well enclosed, which was nice since it was pretty overcast. Of course the service was great, it would have been surprising if it wasn't since we were the only ones there.They do cheese wheel pasta here! My wife and I both got it, and we could have honestly shared a single serving because it was so rich! Our waitress also gave us chicken and bacon for our dogs, which was sweet of her to do. The pasta tasted like it was freshly made, which is always a plus. I appreciated that the cheese wheel was done table side, some places it's a centerpiece you have to leave your table to see, so I was glad we got to experience it with no effort.I will say the one thing against this place is it was pretty expensive. It doesn't have the trappings of a high end place, so when we saw the prices on the menu our eyebrows raised a bit. However, it's definitely the type of prices that are justified with the quality of the food. The food is definitely worth it, don't get me wrong.Overall I could definitely see coming here again. It's a few doors down from our dog groomer, so the timing worked out that we picked up our dogs right when parking switches to free. Of the places we've tried with cheese wheel pasta, this has been my favorite so far.Parking: The spaces around here are metered, but free after 6pm.“

“I'm left speechless. Just a flawless performance from start to finish. We used Sierra and Billy for our wedding last weekend and they were the absolute best. Beginning with communication, they respond almost immediately whenever you reach out. They are super helpful and know what works best for almost any situation. I really felt like we were in good hands throughout the process, which when you are planning your wedding is incredibly important with the amount of stressful things happening. The food quality was a 10/10. Our guests were raving about all the items, from the passed apps (crab Rangoon style rolls, fried chicken biscuit sliders, bacon wrapped dates were all particularly popular) to the actual entree (we went with a taco bar and it was fantastic), we were so pleased. Couldn't recommend this team more highly. I went in to meet with them prior to the event and they were all incredibly pleasant and excited to be there. “I hired Taco Love to cater my wedding in February and would happily look forward to hiring them again for any future event. Consider this a glowing review, and a recommendation to hire them for your events! Guests are still raving about how great the food was ... many of them were so taken by the appetizers that they didn't even realize a dinner course was still to come! After being super disappointed with the attitude and racist comments from a *different* caterer that had been highly recommended to us, we found Randy and Taco Love and it was a perfect fit! From the first phone call, we knew we were on the right track for our event. He was always kind, very laid-back (something that vibed really well with my personality, but something to note if you want things super formal and in writing right away), and very accommodating to the unique needs and vision of our event and venue space. He would always tell us "it is your wedding ... you let me know what you want and we will make it happen!" We used some of his serving dishes, and some of our own. At our tasting, he made sure we had one of each thing on his menu and it all tasted so great! The meat and veggie options were very delicious, and the salsas were incredibly flavorful. From there, the process was very smooth. There was no limit on the menu, he allowed us to choose from everything they make on the truck. The price was reasonable, and he even added a dessert option only two weeks out from the wedding! Our guests LOVED the churros and ice cream. He was right on time for our wedding, and from what we could tell everything ran so smoothly! We had plenty of food for our guest count of 130. My only regret, is that as the bride and groom we were so chaotic that day we didn't get to eat as much as we wanted to! “We recently hosted our wedding and had the opportunity to work with Eco Caters for the event. Christine did an amazing job of helping us navigate options and coordinate logistics throughout the process. Once we had scheduled tastings, Chef Esteban was phenomenal in preparing our dishes and really setting up the experience for us; we had even requested to taste items that weren't part of the usual offerings and he had no problem with completing those. On the day of, both Esteban and Randi smoothly prepared the food and made sure everything was ready on time. In addition, all of the servers were quick and attentive, so we never ran out of drinks or had empty plates/etc hanging around for too long. The total food prepared was just right for the number of guests; we took home only a few containers of leftovers, even after several guests went back for seconds. We got tons of feedback from our guests who also loved the food, especially the braised beef and popcorn chicken. Overall we had a fantastic time and would definitely work with Eco Caters in the future!“

“This place was so good! It's not very big The food was very fresh and the portions were bigger than I expected :) We got the special tostada and aguachile. The restaurant didn't look very big but it had a constant flow of people. I saw a lot of people come get takeout so that would be a convenient option. “Affordable Affairs came highly recommended to me from a venue, the Bernardo Heights Community Center. They had just recently used their services for their Christmas party. I was having my father’s Celebration of Life and needed a catering company. I was then given David’s card. I called him and received a response in a timely manner. After we briefly discussed what I needed he sent a recommended menu and an estimate. We liked the menu he sent over but also made a few small changes. David was very accommodating and easy to work with. His prices were fair and reasonable. The service and food were outstanding just as the Community Center had said, and I highly recommend this catering company!!“

I ordered the County Fair Sandwich which consisted of pulled pork and Mac n cheese in between sourdough bread. It was so yummy! My wife ordered the rib tips which were very flavorful. The sides- potato salad and country beans were also very good. To top it off, The portion sizes are huge ! They don't short change you. I would definitely recommend Cali BBQ!“
