“Love traditional burger joints. I have been coming here my entire life and though its changed hands a few times, the current family is really sweet and helpful. I wish they took down some of the decorations and opened it up more but its cool as it is. It works for what it is. They make the food really good and are super sweet. I buy treats for my grampy and friends (I dont eat this kind of food) and the food is always top notch. Careful in the parking lot, there are cactus with a vendetta. Oh, get the hot fudge sundae and boss burger. Both great.“
“Solid spot for brunch in Los Gatos! They have both indoor and outdoor patio dining. The outdoor dining area has heat lamps, and they'll open up the awning when it gets too sunny out! I got the Crab Souffle Omelette, and I really enjoyed it! The omelette itself was huge! I was impressed with just how fluffy it was--way better than an ordinary omelette! The Crab Souffle omelette is filled with crab, avocado, tomato, mushrooms, and topped with hollandaise sauce. All of the souffle omelettes come with a bakery item and herb potatoes and grits. I love that you can get a specialty bakery item like their carrot walnut bread or raspberry coffee cake in addition to their selection of breads/English muffin/bagel. You can even add their cinnamon roll, but it will cost you an extra $5. I recommend getting their carrot walnut bread! It's tasty--a little savory and a little sweet--with a great combination of textures. I tried some of the raspberry coffee cake but did not like it as much. I would also recommend getting the herb potatoes instead of the grits. The herb potatoes were quite yummy! We were expecting the grits to be like cheesy grits or shrimp and grits (something with flavor) but these ended up just being plain grits. So unless that's what you're looking for, go with the potatoes! Service is pretty fast and efficient. Parking is street parking or park in one of the nearby public lots. There are a bunch of these in Downtown Los Gatos, so I've never had to walk too far!“
“The music hall is really cool. However, the dirty veggie tots were drowning in cilantro but didn't have cilantro listed on the menu, which was really frustrating for a cilantro-soap gene person. If you love cilantro you'd love them.“
“Such a great quirky little spot with incredible food. They even had a kids area to hang out!We got the chicken and waffles and an omelete. The waffles were crispy with cinnamon sugar and butter and the chicken was flavorful. With a side of warm maple syrup and sausage gravy it was perfect. The omelete was nice and flavorful. The home fries were so crispy and soft. And the side of biscuits and gravy were perfect.Kid-friendliness: There was kids play area out back!“
“The food was delicious. The scalloped potatoes tasted like the ones my mom used to make, scrumptious. The ribs melted in your mouth. The he bbq sauce was perfect, not too thick, just right and flavor was fantastic. We had a large party and everyone loved their choice. The server Clay, was friendly & attentive. The restaurant was busy and the volume was quiet and relaxing. Definitely a wonderful experience overall. Can't wait to go back. Thank you to the complete staff.“
“went here for a quick hangover breakfast on a Sunday morning and it hit the spot! It truly captured the 60's diner vibe and the food was simple and affordable. Only criticism is that the tables are very close together so everyone can hear your conversations.“
“Overall a great place. Down town Los Gatos as a whole is lively and the restaurant is clean and nice. The service is good. The burgers are super great and the shakes are delicious. I was also surprised by the versatility of desert menu: carrot cakes, cookie platters, lava cakes, and more. It's a bit price for a burger place but overall I would recommend.“
“I had the cheese burger and even though it didn't come out prepared as I ordered it (med-rare), I was pleasantly surprised by the texture and taste of a charcoal kissed beef patty chard to perfection,of which I had not tasted in, so very, very long. The regular style fries were also seasoned and delicious on their own without the help of ketchup. After tip we still ended up spending more than $20 per person (almost $50 for two) which is rather high in my opinion. I'd love to be able to enjoy this regularly, but it's going to be every once in awhile at these prices.“
