If there is ever a place to host going away happy hours for VP-level biotech execs, then Chandlery at the Shore is the place to do it. They might as well have written the book on it. I hosted a going away happy hour here for my VP. He was pleased as it was just as he had asked - low-key, yet classy. The thirty guests were pleased since it had what they were promised - a wide array of expertly crafted American fare and drinks to please even the most challenging palate. I was pleased as it was exactly how I'd imagined it - a large open space for all of us to reminisce about the good times at work, to share in the memories of current and past coworkers, and to garner final thoughts on surviving biotech from someone who'd done it all. Chandlery at the Shore made a night happen that I'll not soon forget. I doubt anyone would. Though I will ask, if it has our endorsement, well, why doesn't it have yours?

arrived 15 minutes after opening time.ambiance doesn't make up for low points : a pasta dish not available ( menu is limited to begin with).pizza selection limited at this hour - not sure why. one soup available when online menu states two available. burgers "cooked only one way" - no choice, not medium rare, not well done, no choice, no request honored from the person actually eating the burger. cocktails not a available. apparently only available on certain days? certain hours? never received a clear explanation.

What a lovely venue for our annual meet and greet event. The food was very good, the atmosphere excellent and the service perfect. It couldn't have been better for us.

Great spot for drinks with co-workers or friends. Super large space indoors with a pool table. Patio right on the water! On a clear day, you can see the ferry going from East Bay to SF. I'm surprised there aren't more people here. Friendly bartender, quick service. They have rotating happy hour menus and bites.

Didn't get to experience the kitchen, as it was being used for a private event. This left the cold sandwiches take-out case. Turkey sandwich and tuna wrap were very uninspired, somewhat below what you'd expect in a regional airport in the southern states. Even with so few options in that overbuilt area, this may be reason enough to get in a car and drive yourself downtown; or to order from the corporate-sponsored delivery service.

Nice view on a sunny day, food and drinks are bar service only so order up front and grab it yourself. This is located in a work building so it does have a more secluded feeling

The hubby and I had a day off. We purposely parked here so that we can walk the Bay Trail and the loop back here for a lunch date. After a 3 hour walk, we came back right in the middle of the lunch hour. Since there are several large biotech companies nearby, it got pretty crowded. We can still easily get a table but waited a bit for our food. The food was good and reasonably priced. Overall good experience!

Incredibly expensive and terrible food. Most of the food is premade and sits in the refrigerator - although the "hot" food does come out quickly. The place closes by 3pm and the sandwiches have almost no meat. The best thing on the menu is the breakfast burrito, but it costs almost $2 more for a slice of bacon. If there was another option nearby, I would eat there every time.Parking: Lots of parking nearby, but not in front of the store.

Really friendly and attentive staff and a great place for lunch. They have a good quantity of grab and go items from salads, sandwiches, pastries, and etc. They have a really refreshing watermelon and basil kombucha on DRAFT! Btw the scenery is really nice. Definitely have to come back here on a lunch break again

Pretty expensive. 3 small tacos with two small shrimps each: $19. It was ok. You have to order first and then go find a seat. If you set outside and then need a hot sauce, you have to walk all the way back into the restaurant to get it. Not well thought through. Also, no "No Tip" button on their credit card processor. You have to choose "Other" and then specify 0.

Solid (and really only) lunch/to-go option at The Shore campus. Pricey, but decent quality. Menu is a mix of salads, cold/hot sandwiches, and a few entrees. They usually have a rotating special(s). Drink selection is expensive and only so-so.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair-accessible
