The ingredients are so fresh, delicious, I recommend this place to everyone.“
“Excellent breakfast option in the Irvine and Tustin area. French style cafe with a wide variety of foods, coffees and desserts. I recommend arriving early, the approximate wait in the mornings is 30 minutes to 1 hour. The service is very different from what they provide in the USA, if they clean your table between meals and offer you additional items. Highly recommended“
“Server: Madison - She's so amazing and lovely and attentive (but not overly)! Also, a winning personality and very hospitable. Food: 1) House Burger w/ Gluten Free Bun - So tasty! The chef(s) are absolute flavor artists. Love is in all their food creations. (Gluten free bun is NOT dull and dry, it's one of the good ones). 2) Crispy Rice/Spicy Albacore - Dude, what the heck!? We've had these apps at every restaurant that has them and for me this was the best creation/version. It was diced fish, not 'finely minced' like other places, with yummy sauce and red pepper flakes (nice touch!) on immaculately seared rice patties! Ambiance: Outdoor eating area has heaters for when it's chillier, and it's very floral and nature'y. Lovely! Prices:Reasonable for the level of effort put into the food! Love this place.“
“Nice brunch place that has the classics and specialities, with a Filipino and even American trendy brunch style twist, but at slightly lower to comparable prices to other brunch spots.Everything we tried was done perfectly, I especially loved the Birria chilaquiles ($18, not too bad a price for being a huge, shareable portion). We liked the ube cold brew ($7) and even the regular hot coffee (only $3) was very good, as was the ube horchata ($4).The online waitlist is a nice feature, we joined the waitlist on the way over around 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday and were seated immediately“
“Love this place for good food in a chill, relaxed environment. Very comfy and cozy. Service can be a bit slow but that goes with the vibe. Smaller menu but everything has been yummy. My favorite so far is the Elote Mac and Cheese.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but parking is not close.“
“I'm writing this review with a sight hesitation. You know the feeling you get when you like something so much you want it all for yourself? Sunny on South gave me that feeling. I went there for breakfast twice in one month, which is too often for me. I want this place to be there for me from now on, but I don't want to have to wait 45 minutes for a table. However, the wait will be worth it! This place has amazing food and great service! The first time I went I had the Short Rib Birria Benedict (ridiculous)! And I asked the waitress to leave the menu so I could see what else was available. As I was eating I found myself wondering what I was going to order the next time I went. I'm a sucker for a Reuben sandwich and they have a Monte Cristo! That's what I had the second time. The Monte Cristo says they "politely decline substitutions" because they prepare them in-house ahead of time. How bad-ass is that?! The service was friendly and attentive...and the 90's/2000's music made me want to hang out and enjoy a great morning. It's easy to give a restaurant 5 stars when they are good and down the street, so I rarely give 5 stars. But this place gets 5 stars because it's worth going out of your way to eat there. YOU HAVE TO GO!“
“This little spot is a straight up delight. Definitely designed to cater to treating yourself, Postres Cafe is an adorable little spot located in downtown Bellflower. While the food comes with a slightly hefty price tag, the quality is worth it. Came in on a Thursday morning, there was one person behind the counter who functioned as a cashier, barista, and server. They did an excellent job and were very sweet. I ordered a Cinnamon Crunch Latte and a breakfast bagel, not entirely sure what to expect. Cinnamon Crunch Latte: Really smooth espresso, with enough milk to mellow the flavor without losing it. It was sweet without being overwhelming, and had lots of rich cinnamon notes. It was tasty and I can share I have the best caffeine buzz right now. Breakfast Bagel: Don't come expecting a bagel with cream cheese, this isn't your typical bagel. Loaded with egg, bacon, and turkey, this is a protein bomb. There is mayonnaise and shredded cheese, which was interesting and I'm not sure how I felt about it at first, but I did wonder up devouring the whole thing. Somehow it worked. Next time, I'mma splurge on the chilaquiles. Definitely recommend this spot, both for solo dining or for an early coffee date with friends. Plenty of seating and an ambiance as sweet as their postres. Go check them out.“
“10/10 actually 20/10. This place is amazing. I literally don't have one complaint, If you're considering eating here just do it. You won't be disappointed! Pictured: tiramisu coffee Chicken & waffles Benedict Kimchi rice BLT Jam sandwich“
“Honestly the name says it all, this place is definitely a great joy to have a bite at. Cozy and at the same time cute and warm.I think this is a must visit when coming to down town Fullerton.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetation and vegan selectionParking: Free street parking if 15 min or 2 hours and parking lot a little far from the place but decent distance.“
“I have been going to Uncle Bud's for over 33 years it's like eating at home in your grandma's kitchen. Great food great service reasonable prices highly recommend it it's only open till about 11:30 I believe her the hours may want to check but totally worth it!“
“Delicious, unique brunch food! (My friend and I shared ube french toast and mango habanero omelette.) A bit expensive compared to other nearby brunch restaurants, but the food is much more unique that makes it worth it. Will definitely be back!“
“There is a limited gluten free option. The servers are friendly but the service can be slow. There are more seatings at the back of the restaurant. The acoustic makes inside loud and difficult to hear people who are sitting at the same table. The food is good but a little pricy. Parking is limited.Dietary restrictions: Limited gluten free options“
“My aunt I came for the first time.I do therapy next door so I thought I try for BD celebration.Wow, never heard of this place. The chicken and waffles qhere so good.I had the coconut orange juice. Very delicious. Now my kids are taking me for BD in the Downey one.Praying they are just as good.“
“I loved my visit! It did not take very long to get seated if you get there early enough. The food was great I got the smoked salmon avocado toast. Such a big portion. It was delicious! I also got a tea and it was a lot! I would highly recommend going there for breakfast!“
“came on a sunday & was able to get seated right away due to opting for an outdoor table. Food was phenomenal & one of the best flavors I've had in awhile. I got the breakfast bowl & the taste was just awesome. Inside was super crowded so glad we sat outside. Waiters were okay, but the food made it worth while. I would definitely recommend despite it being on the pricier side.“
“Nestled in the heart of a bustling plaza, Early Bird is a culinary gem that stands out for its unique blend of Peruvian and American dining experiences. My wife and I decided to visit this popular spot for brunch, intrigued by its promise of a fusion menu that piqued our culinary curiosity.Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. Despite its popularity, which was evident from the hour-long wait for a table, the plaza offered ample parking. However, due to the restaurant’s busy nature, we found ourselves parking further away than anticipated. Early Bird utilizes a phone texting system to manage its queue, though in practice, it seemed they preferred the traditional method of calling out names. This slight disconnect in their seating process led to a longer wait for us, possibly exacerbated by a mix-up with another guest sharing my name.Once seated, the service quickly took a turn for the better. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that our food arrived promptly after we ordered. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the Lomo Saltado, a Peruvian classic that was executed with a flair that married well with the American dining style Early Bird aims to fuse. The flavors were robust and satisfying, a testament to the kitchen’s skill and creativity. However, despite the delightful culinary experience, the cost of the meal gave us pause. The pricing at Early Bird is on the higher side, especially when compared to other brunch offerings in the area. While we understand the premium ingredients and unique culinary fusion may warrant higher prices, we felt that the value proposition could be better balanced to reflect the overall dining experience.“
“Atmosphere is cute and clean. The food is a bit bland and didn't meet my expectations but I'm glad I at least tried the food. I wouldn't recommend coming here but it's always good to try new places. So just don't come in expecting the best tasting food.“
“It was 11:30 am on a Saturday morning. It was very crowded upon arrival but waited 40 minutes for a table. We ordered our food and it took 20-25 minutes to get our waters. Kind of annoyed, as it was hot outside, on the patio. The long wait was probably my only complaint. I ordered the classic pancakes with scrambled eggs with a potato side. My friend ordered a skillet dish. The food came out on bright blue plates and the pancakes were so fresh. I'm literally obsessed!! Hehe. The eggs were cooked well and everything was delicious. We met "Auntie" as she came to our table and said some really kind words. I asked if she was the manager and she corrected me and said, the owner. I'm Auntie! That's sooooo cool! My friend and I will definitely return when we visit Whittier again!!!“
“Great little brunch spot! They seem to be known for their shaved ice but their breakfast items are amazing! The avo toast has delicious ricotta on top. They also have an amazing french toast and other items. The macaron flavors are also super underrated! It's about $45-50 for a couple with coffee drinks and breakfast.“
