It's $19 for some rice porridge to go.. I mean sure it's authentic and hit the spot but with all the extra fees I don't think it's worth it. The lady was also not very friendly either (and I'm Korean, spoke to her in Korean, I was polite but when I simply was making sure all the side dishes were included she was pretty rude about it). Save yourself the $ and go to Han Yang down the street for $20 you get a way better meal (recommend their galbitang)

Ate here for lunch today! I'm Korean and the samgetang was so good! I also loved the banchan. Yes they only give you a small portion but they are quality and it also discourages waste which I love. I also love that they don't use MSG in their food- as mentioned by the owner in other comments below which is always something that is important to me. Yes MSG may not be bad for you but it does make me sleepy, thirsty, and gives me a headache. Many Korean restaurants in LA and OC also over salt and over sweeten their dishes to cater to a wider population but I'm glad Mountain does not. Will definitely be back!

Abalone porridge went up by $5, but it was recklessly calculated without updating the menu. They charged to-go fee also, but they don't say anything and just include it in the bill. They were like gangsters extorting money.

I always go to Han Yang when I'm craving Korean soups, but I decided to try Mountain out & it hit the spot just as well! I got the samgye -tang, which had super clean and refreshing broth. The sticky rice inside the chicken as super tasty as I let it sit in the broth and soak up the moisture! Def a clean dish if you don't want something too heavy. The galbi-tang and yukgaejang were also really tasty and hearty! And I really enjoyed the seafood pancake, which was packed with shrimp.

Abalone porridge was excellent. So glad Yelp helped us find this place. Will come back again soon.

I was craving abalone porridge and found this place on Yelp with 41 reviews that mentioned abalone porridge and decided to give them a try even though they are 35min away from my house - it was definitely worth the drive. I ordered the chicken ginseng soup and abalone porridge. Both dishes tasted very authentic to what I had when I was traveling in South Korea, the ingredients tasted very high quality, and they both tasted like a lot of care and time were put into cooking them - giving that very comforting home cooked feeling. The portions were very generous as were all the side dishes the included in my to go order. They also included a braised beef side dish that I haven't seen at any other Korean restaurant that was delicious. I will definitely be returning for these two dishes as well as to try the other dishes on their menu. I hope they will work with a delivery partner in the future so I can enjoy their amazing food without having to drive over and hour back and forth for it.

We went early for dinner and the restaurant was empty. The service was attentive and the servers had masks on. The food portions were good and all tasted good. The side dishes were plenty and tasty as well.

Good authentic Korean food. Abalone porridge as good as it is. Fish egg spicy pot has perfect temp and spicy level. Waitress is very nice and informative.

We just enjoyed a wonderful meal at their outside terrace. Staff is so friendly and food was delicious. I adore their Korean little bowls accompaniments. The Kimchi was so fresh! We had the Bibimbap hot bowls. And steamed dumplings. Thank you so much, we will be back.

The ban chan's here are so well made! But they don't really want to serve it to you until your meal come out. I was so hungry so I asked them to serve me sooner. UGH. The oyster dol sot bap was delish. The charred / Crisped up rice was perfection. The GAMJA TANG / Pork Back Bone soup was ok. But the broth was not piping hot so the meat was a bout luke warm. It tasted ok. Service was aloof. They did end up bringing me everything I needed eventually.
