Absolutely the best grill I've had in the states. I lived in the Middle East, so I don't say this lightly.Everything is fabulous, we got the mix grill and chicken shawarma plate.The chicken was flavourful and the beef sheesh was tender and the hummus was creamy.If you enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine, you absolutely cannot miss this hidden gem.
I’ve done the Armenian, the Persian, the Lebanese, the Palestinian, but nothing compares to the Shawarma my Syrians make. Wallahi hands down the best Shawarma I’ve had in many years and I’m Middle Eastern myself. This place is owned by a sweet Syrian family that have LITERALLY fed me the entire summer of 2023 while I was doing my internship in LA. I had never heard of foool/foul, but I’m glad I branched out and tried it!! Man, it was delicious! I still am not totally sure what it was - a stew? A soup? A warm salad?
