Food got there and we didn’t have silverware. Then the waitress never came back to check on us. I asked for a coffee refill and she forgot. “Located in Studio City and serving patrons since 1964, Vivian’s is a classic diner option in the valley. It’s very small on the inside with only a few large tables. They also have more seating in the back, but we were able to find a seat for two in the front for a 10:30 Sunday brunch. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot so it will be metered street parking, which is not that hard to find in the valley. Our server was polite and all of our items came out quickly. I am giving 4/5 stars because the food quality isn’t as good as some other places close by like More Than Waffles, Bob’s, or Paty’s and the inside could use a cleaning. The floor was very dirty under our table and the table next to us even complained about it.I started off with a Coffee, which is my go to order at any diner. For my meal I chose the Eggs Benedict with a Biscuit on the side. The Eggs Benedict had a nice flavor but the eggs were undercooked and runny. They did not have the true poached consistency with the yolk covering the dish, it was too watery and splashed out as soon as I cut into it. Also the biscuit was as flat as an English muffin and really lacked the biscuit or buttermilk flavor. We also ordered the 2x2x2 and the pancakes were actually very good, but it’s also very hard to mess up pancakes. It was not a bad meal by any means, but certainly not as good of one as others I have had close by on the same street.Overall I would say it could be an option if you’re already in the valley and the more popular spots have too long of wait times.Parking: no parking lot, only metered street parkingWheelchair accessibility: no stairs or incline to enter/exit“
“I just went to Red Maple Cafe for the first time today and really enjoyed the experience. My wife mother and daughter all loved our food and the ambiance. The fried chicken and waffles were very flavourful and unique because of the blackberry sauce they served with the waffles. The fried chicken was juicy crispy and flavorful. The blackberry sauce also mixed nicely with some hot sauce! The brisket burrito my wife got was very good, flavorful and tender brisket. Their house breakfast potatoes were also very good. Spiced but not spicy so that even my daughter approved and enjoyed. Their custom coffees were very fun too as you can have them take a picture of your choosing and put it on the cream of their coffee!Our server Brian was also excellent and attentive. Very helpful and patient. We could not have asked for a better first experience and server.Thank you Red Maple we will be back !“
“Visited Cafe Jane on a Tuesday around noonish. There was ample seating available and the wait time for our food to come out was very minimal. The americano was deliciously bold and my mom was delighted by their mocha. We shared two entrees: the breakfast sandwich and the orange french toast. The breakfast sandwich had really fluffy soft scrambled eggs and the brioche was a nice bite. The French toast was OuT oF tHIs WoRLd! - loads of citrus and balanced with the subtle sweetness of fried bananas. Will be back to try their rice bowls. Overall score: ?/?.“

Also I recommend driving because the area around the shop is a little rough with all the homeless people off their heads. Other than that absolutely incredible food.“
“What a great place!! Had an early morning appointment nearby & stopped for breakfast because of the great reviews!! It did not disappoint! Excellent service from the staff & the Manager was friendly! Their menu is huge! We had chicken fried steak and eggs chicken cordon bleu. Both were excellent! We especially liked that our English muffins came to the table with whipped butter and jam & each table has their own toaster so you can ensure they are hot and just right? Great atmosphere & very clean!“
“I grew up in Texas and have spent a lot of time in Mexico. Chilaquiles are my favorite food and I have eaten 100s of different versions. This is hands down the best. I'm in a state of pure joy. The red sauce was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much! The chefs here are very talented.“

The Burger is really really good.I honestly just hate the fact that every time I come here usually around 9:30-10am the music is blaring like “Evanescense” like I’m inside some Hollywood bar.It’s honestly really bad. I came here once and brushed it off… but then I came back it was literally same playlist vibe with “Ac/DC” in the mix. All really bad & doesn’t really match what I’d expect w/ the neighborhood or interior of the place.I could not hear my friend talking . So if you’re down for that this place is good. Side note- I love Black Metal & Death Metal, love loud music. Just not Dad Rock while I eat my expensive croissant sandwich“
“First off, the prices are pretty reasonable for the area. In the Arts District where you can expect your coffee to be $7, $9ish for a full cocktail is not bad! I've enjoyed everything here, the fried chicken in particular was well-seasoned. The only thing I thought was meh was the fried broccolini, the batter was a little too heavy for me so I didn't finish it.You seat yourself and can either order using the QR code at your table or try to flag someone down, but mobile order seems faster. There is also self-serve water.My only suggestion is that sometimes it can get quite sunny so would be nice to have some kind of shades when the sun is getting low and get in your eyes.Update: sounds like the shade issue has been resolved since I've last gone! “Really sweet place with a quiet cheel vibe, old timey decor, filled with little pictures and you can see the cook working through the little window.Food was great, arrived piping hot, hashbrowns were crispy on the outside but hearty and soft on the inside, omellete was cooked great and with the right amount of additions(i took feta, mushrooms, spinach), toast was hot but not burnt, pancake soft and yummi, only thing i would improve is capuccino arrived too hot to drink with my meal.Waitress was very kind and sweet with a good service attitude. The manager, Hannah, I believe was her name, was so personable and recommended the Sunny Toast, which was out of this world delicious. Also, the outdoor seating is so cute and very ambient. The matcha was so delicious, would highly recommend. Def gonna be a new favorite spot!“

I came here after reading that they used pearl sugar and I hoped it would taste like Belgium and shops in the USA that make it (Waffles and Dinges in NYC for example or Zinneken's Belgian waffles in Boston). They're very good waffles but not Liege Zuckerwaffles. SUPER nice staff, service is Great! As long as you aren't dying for Zuckerwaffles, try it. ? If you want those, either East coast or Belgium?“
