The BEST cookies I’ve ever had. Amazing classics like oatmeal raisin, sugar cookie, chocolate chip and snickerdoodle shine alongside seasonal/rotational flavors like peppermint, Halloween candy concoction, and lemon. Also offers banana bread and blonde bars. Always greeted with lovely service! A neighborhood favorite.

I only got the cookie bars and they were unfortunately very underbaked. And while I usually prefer soft cookies, these were inedible. My mom also bought a cookie bar and hers was the same. My stepdad, though, was very happy with his peanut butter cookie. Perhaps they excel at cookies and need to still work out their bar methodology. It was an expensive test on our part.

I only had the chocolate chip cookie. It was pretty average. I'll try them again but order differently.

Paris has come to Burlingame. If you aren’t buying these pastries you’re missing out. Soooo delicious! Glad it’s located right on Burlingame Avenue.

The workers were very sweet (pun intended) and the space was very clean and aesthetic. They had a solid range of cookies. I was excited to try oatmeal raisin bc it is such an underrated cookie but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be. Oatmeal raisin (3/5) the base of the oatmeal cookie was a bit mealy but the other flavors and mixes were greatSnickerdoodle (4/5) really great to eat I thought the overall taste and texture was exactly what I wanted to be, but it's not better than anything I could make Chocolate chip (3/5) I'm super picky about chocolate chip, but the base dough was really great. I juswasn't a fan of the chocolate used as the chip part.Celebration (3/5) it's giving sugar cookie with sprinkles but it's got a salty aftertaste I can't figure out Cookies n Cream (5/5) we have a winner! It's different than many places, it's got that cookies and cream look and taste and I would go back to buy a box of these and snickerdoodles.

I'm sorry, but I can't in good faith give this place a good review. My family and I stopped by after dinner because we were craving something sweet. What drew us in was that it was a female owned business--we thought why not give it a shot? The space was sufficient, but I would like to see their baked goods protected with a glass cover over them.We decided to give the s'mores cookie and best brownie a try, but similar to a lot of the 1-2 star reviews on this page, we were sorely disappointed. Both were one note, not overly sweet and most importantly, there was absolutely nothing special about them especially for the price point. I swear the brownies tasted exactly like one of the boxed ones you bring home and bake from the grocery store. I will not be back nor will I recommend it to others until there's an improvement to those two recipes.

My favorite spot in Burlingame Ave to stop for a sweet treat for myself or my Cookie Monster at home. Our favorite is definitely the celebration cookie with sprinkles. Overall love the cookies and the banana bread. There is a beautiful step up inside too which makes the baked goods look even more enticing. Service is always friendly and helpful.

4.5/5It's my favorite pastry/cookie place now :) I just tried their oreo cookies and banana bread which are really great (moist, freshly baked and no after taste). The lady is very helpful with her recommendations since there is a lot of options. Will try other cookie flavors next time and their famous house made pudding.

Man, I was super excited to hear about another baked goods shop near home. I really wanted to like Busy Lizzy's but after stopping by here and trying their pastries, it was quite a disappointment! First off, upon arriving and looking at the pastries, it was very obvious the pieces were all unequal sizes. For a fixed price, you would expect the sizes to be close to each other but it was almost like comparing a newborn baby's hand to an older child's hand. I love chocolate chip cookies and had tried many of the pastries shop in the Bay Area including B Patisserie (known as the best chocolate chip cookie in CA), Cookiez by Sara, Backhaus, Jane on Larkin, and many out of state including NYC's famous Levain. Even with a craving for chocolate chip cookie, Busy Lizzy's could not satisfy my tastebuds! The chocolate chip cookie tasted like an inexperienced baker's first time baking with barely any flavor and random pieces of larger chocolate chips in the center. It did not have the perfect crispy layer with chewy texture. Tasted like an old cookie. It was not even comparable to the shelve cookies sold at Costco or Safeway. The Oreo and cream had a bit more flavor but the middle tasted like dough. The so-called best brownies was far from the best brownies. It was worst than the box ones you could buy at Safeway to bake at home. Even my own brownies tasted better than the dried one I bought from here. Lastly, the random specialty bar with everything on top was probably one of the worst sweet pastries I had. It was like biting into sugar and eating a large graham cookie that was overbearingly sweet and hard. It actually made my teeth uncomfortable. Then, the young girl charged my husband wrong and he almost paid $28 for the four items. She "corrected"herself so the bill was $24. So not worth $24 bucks for two cookies and two pastries (one brownie and one specialty bar). The total price we got charged including taxes did not even match the prices they listed. We were quite disappointed with the pastries. Now I wonder how they ended up with 4.5 Yelp stars... we felt deceived. This was also just a pastry shop for pick up only. For a place that was new, it was not modern. Nothing about it stood out except being in the middle of downtown Burlingame.

Cute bakery & nice workers!Brownie: 3/5Alright, similar taste to the Ghirardelli brownie mix. It was the right level of fudgy for me. Eat it at the beach for extra vibes!Chocolate Chip Cookie: 3/5Also alright, maybe could've used a little more salt maybe? or some oomph.Cookies & Cream Cookie: 4/5I like that this had a more dark chocolate flavor, added a nice depth that the regular one lacked.

Cute bakery with a craft/artisan atmosphere. Everything is laid out so aesthetically and looks and smells amazing. It was more of a novelty shop to me but it's still fun to go in and try a few things. $4 cookies are not bad, especially for something more small batch. I'd recommend a quick stop here to try your favorite flavor. Or even just grab a couple to bring to some friends/family/coworkers haha.Matcha: Good matcha flavor with a subtle sweetness. I enjoyed that it wasn't overly sweet and it was nice and buttery.Food: 8/10Atmosphere: 8/10Service: 6/10Value: 7/10Edit: Fixed the price. Thanks for the correction Lizzy!

Love this place! It's definitely a favorite. Their banana loaf is to die for! The entire loaf has a great banana flavor, very soft and moist, and has a good occasional crunch with the nuts. The chocolate chip cookie was perfection - soft, good thickness (not too thick or thin), sweet but not overly so! Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out!

They had 2 vegan options and 3 that were vegan apart from honey. I got a date bar and it was good, a bit pricey but what do you expect from Burlingame?
