“Mingalaba is a wonderful restaurant - interesting mix of different food types. They do have my favorite spring roll of any restaurant I've ever eaten at - a spring roll (not deep fried) with tempura shrimp wrapped in avocado with a Burmese sauce that is really delicious. Also like the string beans with tofu, the Tea Leaf Salad and the vegetable chow fun - just very delicious. The service is wonderful, the people are nice, not long waits - just a nice place. Very casual - nothing fancy but if you want authentic food that tastes great, this is a wonderful place. I've also found that their take-out is really good too - comes hot, timely and not overly-priced. Strongly recommended.“

“I found out about this gem because a coworker told me about it. I am so glad I came here after a work meeting for lunch. It was a delicious lunch. I got the spicy beef noodle soup with extra spice and beef and the beef, lamb and fish dumplings. It was out of this world. The service was friendly and super attentive highly recommend.“

“Cozy, family-owned Chinese restaurant located in old downtown Burlingame. The Mongolian beef and general chicken were both well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. Friendly and efficient service. Not a lot of street parking spots, but there are several parking lots within a 5-minute walk.“

“The photos look legit. Rating was high and I'm in the mood for some ABC style chow mein (the thick round noodle).
The chicken chow mein was not bad. Tons of wok air. I liked the fact that it has lots of vegetables. Decent size noodle. Only thing is, it's a bit too salty and has a little bit of bitter after taste. 澀味. I suspect it's the soy sauce? Could be the salt. Or overcooked soy sauce. Otherwise, it's pretty good.“

“I have to say this is one of the cleanest Panda Express I have been to. The food here is always served fresh or you can wait for the new batch, which I usually do if I’m craving that dish and I have high patience so I do not mind the wait. Staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and friendly. I have been to this location in fact tons of times. I usually stop by for a bigger plate when I visit, just so I can have three different entrees. I always leave happy and satisfied. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite or if your on a limited time. I definitely will be back!“

“All the food is fresh, and choosing what's in season makes it even tastier. For larger groups, the big round tables come with the added bonus of individual hot pots built right into the table. It's easier to order dishes when you have a bigger group here ( 3+ people)“

“Absolutely delicious! The food was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The skewers were tender, juicy, and packed with that authentic smoky spice that makes BBQ irresistible. The garlic eggplant was soft and fragrant, bursting with umami, and the vermicelli dish added a nice, tangy contrast. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the presentation made it even more appetizing. If you’re craving real, flavorful Chinese BBQ, this place is a must-try!“

“Just found out Serramonte Center has Yang Guo Fu in the food court 😂 Perfect spot for a hot bowl of malatang on a foggy Daly City lunch break. $14.99/lb with fresh veggies, meats, and three soup bases (beef bone, tomato, spicy dry). Loved the beef & lamb rolls, mushrooms, lotus root, and konjac for a lighter option. Their red oil wontons ($5.99) are freshly made and so tasty—can’t wait to try the dim sum they’re adding soon!“

“My first time ordering door dash for this restaurant and it did not disappoint!! I ordered 6 dishes total and it was only a little over $100 subtotal, wow, can't get this amount of food anywhere else in the bay area!! All the dishes came piping hot (thanks to the door dash driver) and each container was filled to the brim! I felt like this $100 was well spent, I'm so glad I found this little gem. You guys just earned another loyal returning customers :) please stay in business so I don't have to cook as much!“

“We went here for the first time and the food was so GOOD!! The beef noodle took me by surprise!! The soup was rich and the beef is very tender. We went there on a week day so the there's no line waiting and the food was delivered very quickly as well.
We ordered the oyster cake, beef noodle soup and the other noodles. Everything was so good and we will definitely come back again!!! So delicious!!“

“Fried chicken wing - Don't underestimate fried chicken wing, you can taste a good one compared to bad ones and this is one of the best I've had. Good garlic flavor and crispy fried flavor.Baked Spaghetti Bolognese - I was surprised how good this is. They use the good cheese and you can smell it. Crispy cheese on top and the sauce flavor is very good as well.Baked pork chop over rice - The sauce is above average. However, the pork chop could use more marinate, garlic and sesame oil. I think the pork chop they use is pork loin. Using more fatty pork will make it more tender and juicy.Portuguese style baked chicken rice - The flavor of the sauce actually was pretty good but I thought it taste a little sourness. All in all, I'm pretty impressed because I didn't expect it's this good.“

“Town of Dumpling – San Mateo
I’ve lived in San Mateo my whole life and somehow never tried Town of Dumpling until now — no idea how I missed it, but I’m really glad I finally went. The food was seriously delicious. The soup dumplings especially were a standout — super flavorful, juicy, and perfectly done. You could tell everything was made fresh and with care.
Prices were totally fair too, which was a nice surprise given how high quality everything was. It’s just one of those spots that does great food without trying too hard to be “trendy.”
Definitely coming back. Can’t believe I slept on this place for so long.“

“Great service, super generous servings, and delicious! We ate here for mother's Day and I think we may have ordered too much as we were not expecting the large servings, which is totally not a bad thing! I think the HK noodles were my favorite and I'd say the salt and pepper shrimps were my least. It's lacking a bit of saltiness or umami compared to other places. Overall, I will come back but probably order less. 😅“

“A neighborhood gem serving the usual Chinese takeout fares as well as more authentic dishes. There is something for everyone to enjoy. I personally really like the dan dan noodles, fried rice as well as a number of the chicken and beef entrees. Very reasonable price and generous portions that are great for sharing.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Solid (1=Avoid, 3=Standard, 5=Can't Miss) for fast, casual Chinese food to-go. There's no seating here, but plenty of parking in the surrounding lot that has a lot of empty businesses around it. But there's a reason Rickshaw is still around because it is one of the best deals in town. Just when you think they are finished loading your plate, they keep going! The garlic noodles are an additional $1 and it is very garlic-y. 😉“

“How I just LOVED this restaurant. Me and some family members went here after a boring fishing trip and it made my day! The rice was perfectly cooked, the dishes had large portions enough for the three of us, and the pot stickers were cooked to perfection. The service was great, it was fast and easy! I don't have much more to say about it! The atmosphere had that wonderful Chinese restaurant feel to it with wonderful smells wafting through the air along with the friendly waiters always making you smile.“

“The seats in the restaurant are comfortable, the place is clean, and the waiters are attentive. It has a Hong Kong-style teahouse style, and the food is of average quality. The company's sandwich menu has a Hong Kong feel, including garlic fried chicken wings, baked pork chop rice, and stir-fried beef river. I think the milk tea doesn't have enough flavor, there is room for improvement. This is a restaurant I will visit again.“

“Love the food here! Best Chinese food you will ever get and for cheap too! Atmosphere could use a bit more work, decorated kinda plain and there's no music, just a TV we can't even hear. My biggest complaint is that they close at random times and often for long periods of time and I have no way of knowing unless I call in beforehand to know what time they close that day. If they don't pick up, they're closed.“

“A no-frills place for authentic comfort Chinese (and a few other non-Chinese but still Asian) dishes that is very convenient for those arriving late at SFO airport (they open past midnight). Walking distance to a few hotels or to a bus stop along El Camino Real, which passes several hotels in the area. I ordered the beef rib pho and fried oysters. I was satisfied with my meal and the beef rib was tender and flavorful. If ever I arrive in SF late at night on another trip, I won't hesitate to eat at this restaurant again.“

“After having an amazing whole fried fish at another Chinese restaurant, I have been looking for the same dish at a nearby restaurant. This one met my expectations. Our mapo tofu and curry mixed veggies were good too. The only item that needed improvement was the white rice which was lumpy and too soft.“

“Sesame chicken was the best in town and very large portions. What sucks is the parking?
Parking: Parking sucks on the street. You have to pay or you’re get a ticket. There’s no free parking only at Starbucks for 10 minutes but everywhere else you have to pay. It’s a big mess for San Bruno.“

“We just moved here from San Mateo and have had lots of amazing Chinese food but this is our favorite!!! It’s a special place and the gentleman inside is very pleasant each time I’ve gone and everything tastes home made and so delicious!. The food flavor is just amazing! We especially love the salt and pepper wings (the salt flavor is so tasty!! I don’t know what salt he uses but it’s so amazing) and it comes with a blend of green onions and other things sprinkled on top that are just awesome! The chicken fried rice is also amazing!!! Hot and sour soup also a favorite - you just have to go and at least try these few items. The other thing is it tastes healthier and less oily than other Chinese food we have had - sort of how it would taste if you make it at home! Best egg rolls we have ever had! It has a spice in it that really makes it taste good I think it might be allspice or cloves or something like that but wow! If you are in Brisbane you must try it!“

“I travelled from Riverside County to come eat at this restaurant and have heard such great reviews about it from my relatives and friends who live all the way in China! It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back again. Each dish is unique and they also have gluten free options as well as requested options. (My f5 year old is Gluten free). The bamboo and mushroom dish had a hint of sweetness with an undertone of spice, the Chong qing 🌶spicy chicken was mouth watering, along with the eggplant 🍆 dish, dry stir fried fish, and glass noodles with pork! I enjoyed every dish and my kids enjoyed their shrimp fried rice dish and greens as well. Our family is a foodie family and we love ❤️ traveling far and near to try dishes from around the world. The Chef came out and greeted us and was So kind. The staff was very attentive and friendly with our children. I would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you!! 🙏💕😁“

“I’m a huge fan of Malatang, and Zhangliang in San Mateo has the best in the Bay Area. It does get busy, but the wait is always worth it. The ingredient selection is extensive, and I always go for the classic bone broth—it’s rich, flavorful, and has that perfect numbing kick. Orders come out quickly and are piping hot, ready to enjoy.“

It’s like a hole in the wall that serve authentic Chinese dishes at great prices. Also the service was great and the food was very delicious. I definitely will be back to try out other dishes.

“Yan gon is a family own Burmese restaurant on broadway Burlingame. The owner and the entire staff were extremely friendly , attentive , courteous . helpful, and welcoming . Their dishes are delicious . I have tried their Burmese Style Curry Lamb , Singapore Street noodles, Deep fried Chicken Wings , and Wor Wonton Soup. All four dishes were delicious, but my favorite is the won ton soup . This soup is perfect , it's so healthy and brothy. The broth is so rich that left a long lasting mouthwatering and coating sensation lingering in my tongue. The wontons are so tasty , juicy , and flavorful with the right amount of , I believe was pork , ginger , garlic ,chopped onions , sugar, salt , pepper , and shrimps . . The shrimps were very tastey and fresh . It didn't have that strange scent of ammonia or fishy smell like spoiled shrimps . The restaurant is simple , bright , clean , casual ambience with ample seatings. I have been here many times and got seated right away. No wait . This restaurant is a must try if you have the craving for Burmese food or just want to try something new.“
