I was expecting it to be of the same level as the one on the Hollywood walk of fame street, but it was not. Not bad but not as good as the original.

Sad to think there's no way this place survives on Burlingame Ave. I REEEALLY wanted to like this restaurant as I live just down the street. I remember the anticipation, seeing the "coming soon" sign outside for nearly 2 years as they prepped it. And the Grand Opening... it was a PACKED HOUSE! Now it's a shell of its former self. There's a lot of things this place has going for it: Great location, big spacious dining area, friendly customer service, and good atmosphere. The perfect place to hang out with friends & family. Well perfect if it wasn't for one thing... The food. The food isn't inedible, it's just not... anything special. The burgers are eh (like a 5 out of 10), but the chicken sandwiches was so lame; tasteless. And I completely agree with another reviewer, the $8 Milkshake was outrageous because it was so poorly made. Small size, like 8 oz, and it tasted as if it was blended with ice; that's how flavorless it was. I'd pay $8 any day for a five guys milkshake, but come on Wahlburgers... step your game up.The saddest part is every time I've visited the restaurant, the streets of Burlingame Ave are bustling but the inside of this restaurant is dead with zero patrons ?

Super busy on the streets that day but know one eating at this place. They didn't have some of the menu items available. Felt like an over priced in and out burger.

Nice little spots on Burlingame avenue. I tried a fish sandwich with the wahl sauce and sweet potato fries as a side. The fish sandwich tasted great. Service was excellent. I would definitely come here again when I visit Burlingame avenue.

I tried it, but the Our burger was disappointing across the board. It was very basic without much meat flavor. Their special sauce was rather bland as well, and the roll was too soft. It got soggy/mushy real quick. The onion strings were pretty good, but some were slightly burnt.

Pretty decent burger. A little on a sloppy side just because of what I add to it but it’s kind of the way I like it. It doesn’t fall apart at least. The fries were a little bland because they don’t seem to have much salt added. And a little on the floppy side. But not bad.

When I took the first bite of the SUPER MELT all the flavors combined to make the sandwich deserve That FIFTH STAR. I recommend the SUPER MELT.

I wonder why the owner opens a restaurant that is the opposite of his lifestyle. If you are wise, you know what I mean.

UPDATE 10 HOURS LATER AND I AHVE FOOD POISON.I hurt my mouth on the chicken it was hard as a rock. Went to say something was told this is how it is. I plan to write to whalburgers customer care and hopefully get a refund. No one at the bar when we arrived. The atmosphere was terrible. I've been to the one in Palo Alto a few years back, and it was really good. Idk if it's location staff mix of both, but I'm super pissed and disappointed. For the price, u can go to Super Duper and get way better quality.

First visit and disappointed. Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing I noticed was the full bar. Strange for a burger joint. With the many TVs hanging, it's hard to figure out if this is a sports bar or a burger place. Looking at the menu, they don't offer any type of combinations like 'burger with fries and drink'. The burger I ordered was the bbq bacon, and it was just a basic flat burger with no flavor. The onion strings pretty much needed to go with the burger to make it edible. The prices are above average for what you get, so that doesn't help. The staff was friendly, and the food was served quickly. As for cleanliness, the table tops were so sticky that the napkins stuck to the table. For being a celebrity owned chain, I expected better quality than the golden arches have to offer. All I can say is save your money.
