This restaurant has been newly renovated, with an updated menu. The owners parents are back for a time to help TC with the reopening. The renovation leans into their German roots. The new lighting resembles an old time tavern feel. Gone are the copious amount of well used dilapidated booth seating. They revamped thier menu and did a little remodel. Love it!! Four of us enjoyed a nice dinner here earlier this week. The menu has been updated, if you had even been to St. Pauli Inn on Hwy 50 when it was in it's prime you will recognize the menu. Prices are reasonable and portion size is filling!! The remodeled interior has a great vibe and the service is very attentive. I will be eating here again!!!

Visitng town and family recommended The Forester for dinner. From them, I found out the history of the Past and Present of the restaurant. The old location, the new and still shifting into full gear in some parts. Noting they are getting the flow going, sometimes felt a little hectic, but there were so many redeeming points.
