Restaurantji's Canoga Park recommendations for the finest Mexican cuisine.
“Best tacos in the West San Fernando Valley!!! Me and my Family have came here for over 20 years now. This place is a Canoga Park Staple their Salsa is unique making their tacos & Burritos Delicious and Memorable. I have family members that moved away who make it a priority to get Big Burrito when they're in town.“
“2nd time getting from here. First time was with a client. This time I popped in for lunch and decided to try some different than my first time and so far everything I have tried from here has been ON POINT!! friendly staff too. Definitely will be back to try other menu items!“
“Stopped here on the way back from Topanga park. Reviews were good and we were hungry so figured it's worth a short. Boy I'm so glad we did! The food is absolutely delicious, prices are good. If I lived closer this would be my go-to taco shop.We ordered the shrimp, beef and chicken tacos. I had beans on the side and the order comes with fresh made nachos with beans and salsa. Delicious !The only downside was that it was very cold even inside because the door was open and the evening was brisk“
“OMG! The shrimp tacos are amazing. Haven't been by in a wile and stopped by today for a few tacos. Forgot how much this place rocks. Food was amazing serves was great even hot water in the sink in the bathroom. Reyes Rocks!!!! Thank you!!!!“
“They always hold us down. After a lit night, when we want something cheap, or just when I'm fixing for tacos. Best I've had in the valley and better than anything I've had in Ventura county too. Shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, pastor tacos, and those damn birria tacos . And I love the onion that comes with it. Just beware of the hot salsa, if you get everything included on your food - it will be spicy. The only thing that wasn't the best was the birria burrito, and damn that was kinda good too! But I'd probably try something else next time I want a burrito or get consomé with it. It was a little dry without it.“
“I always come here when I'm craving seafood soup, my favorites are caldo de costa brava and caldo de camarón, it has a good flavor, I really like the small soup with clams that they serve you as a complementary starter also the chips and salsa. There are two other seafood restaurants in the area with almost the same flavor and quality in the area, "Los pocos" and "viva la vida" but Los Arcos has the better service and the ambiance is very friendly and family oriented. I recommend going here on the weekends. There are more people working and your order comes out faster, you might have to wait for a table but it won't be over 30 minutes.“
“Came in for a quick bite the tacos durados were ok but the chicken soup was perfect for this weather. Excellent service from Luis. The free refills on the drinks were unexpected. It was overall a great experience I'll be back. Thanks for being open this late. It's a small place not good for big groups or if you have a big group like the bikers Ruthless Riders they occupied the whole restaurant.“
“The food was good. The day that I went, they had live banda music. Service was good as well. I had ordered a dish and then was told that it could either be grilled or sauteed, which neither were on the menu. Anyways, I ordered it sauteed, which was great. Overall experience, was pleasant.“
“I'm in LA for the next few weeks and I've made it my goal to try as many tacos as I can. Stop number 1 was Tacos DeSoto. It was super easy to find right on the road and there was street parking. they make the tacos as you order them and I had a short wait. The customer service was outstanding. The owners are super nice and welcoming. They do take cash and card. I ordered chorizo and steak mix tacos with spicy sauce and cilantro, onion toppings. They were $3/taco and I paid $9 total. They also have drinks on site and a small seating area out front. The tacos were cooked perfectly the perfect size and they were delicious. The steak was extremely tender and it wasn't super oily so the taco stayed together while I was eating it. This is a great place to stop for a quick grab and go lunch.“
“Stopped here on a whim last week and so glad I did. It’s probably the healthiest place on that strip compared to the other hole-in-the-walls I noticed. The tacos are healthy and delicious. It’s not the cheapest place but that’s what you get when you want healthy.I wish I had one of these near Van Nuys.Highly recommended! ????“
“Dunno what anyone should expect from a fast food joint. Everytime I go in the staff is friendly and helpful to me. Its always super busy there. Just went today and I made my own order confusing. I was ordering for 3 people. The folks there always get it right for me. Thank you to the staff.“
“One of the better burritos I've had. Pinto beans are creamy, not mealy or grainy like they can get when not cooked correctly. The asada was tasty and tender. But the salsas were the real star. That red sauce had a beautiful, roasted flavor without being overpowering. The green was good with flavor, and provided a contrast to the red, but it can't compete with the red. I got it delivered so I can't comment on service or ambience.“
“This place has been an escape for me since 2019. Covid really changed everything!! , but Jasmine, Heidi, and Alexis have really made the chaos minimal. These girls are everything!! Good vibes, great conversations, and good advice! Definitely wouldn't go anywhere for a good time.. enough said !!“
“I ordered Asada fries and let me tell you i devoured it. I normally do not eat a lot but man that ssshhhh was so bomb i finish it! Pardon my language. The Service/Workers was equally as amazing, kind, friendly, above and beyond! I definitely got more bang for my buck too because that plate was packed of Asada was packed!“
