Asked for nacho's with no meat and he delivered!!! Owner explained everything he added to the nachos and seriously the freshest nachos I've had!! So good, friendly owners. Portion of the food is just great. Definitely highly recommend!!

Very Tasty Al Pastor Tacos. Delicious. I have to try some other menu items as well. Nice people, large menu. They do not take Credit Cards (I thought they did so I went to 711 bought something and was able to take out $10 from 711. I wish i could have gotten $20 , I owe that nice lady a tip next time I'm there.) Chatsworth Has some very good Mexican Restaurants and Taco Trucks. This is one I would recommend (Cash Only) Like Fast Taco :)

OMG guys. This place is the BEST!!! I got the carnitas wet burrito with the verde sauce. BOMB!!! I can't express how I feel about this place. After I found it. Never going to any place else. Always awesome food.

I was able to try Tacos Playa De Oro tonight and was pretty excited when ordering because it smelled SO good. We ordered a chicken quesadilla, Mexican chicken salad, Nachos Supreme and a carne asada burrito mojado (Roja) to share and was incredibly disappointed. Spent over $50 and we ended up throwing half of our order away. The chicken salad was nothing like what was advertised, think a small bed of lettuce on top of a mountain of rice and a few bland chunks of chicken. I never thought I'd say this, but El Pollo Loco's salad is tastier. The chicken quesadilla was super basic, nothing special and was no where near as good as the many carts you find thoughout DTLA. The nachos had so much potential, but for the price, it was not worth it. There was not much carne and the chips were stale. Like sitting uncovered for a couple days stale. My burrito mojado also had potential, but 95% of it was rice, 4% beans and a whooping single percent carne. I'm not even exaggerating, I took pictures! With so many better food trucks, stands and other options, take your money elsewhere. It just isn't worth the price. Other details - parking is easy. They're located at the intersection of Lassen and De Soto, in front of Carl's Jr. Just park in front of Carl's. For my handicapped friends, it may be easier to park near the driveway in the parking lot if you have a wheelchair. There's a 2ft wall and some grass separating the parking lot and the sidewalk where you order.

The mulitas are delicious!!! I got the tongue and pastor ones. I liked the pastors better. I also got the nachos, hunting down the best nachos in the valley, these weren't it... tho they were also pretty good.

I have to be honest - being in southern california there is no lack of availability of any type of any food. You can literally get anything you want anywhere you go. Out of all those options, I have found that this location has my hands down favorite Carne Asada Fries. You know a taco truck is good when you see cars driving up and parking behind it, in front of it, in the parking lot across the street from it, all to place an order at the truck then wait in their car till its ready for them to drive back home and enjoy. In food, consistency is paramount. Nobody likes to order something they've previously liked to find they received a variation of that item they aren't so happy with next time. This is not an issue for this place, every time I have ordered I get exactly the same thing as the previous time, whether it be Asada Fries, Nachos, tacos etc. it is always just like the last and that's critically important to a reliable experience for the customer. The food is always bomb, every time. Every. Time. The staff are always friendly and polite, my only gripe is that I don't have a bunch of spare income with which to tip them because they all do a great job in there. Keep it up guys, and thank you!
One of my favorite tac trucks in SFV. Always friendly always delicious. I would recommend the Molitas or the OG tacos.

Never returning again, even though they were a reliable taco joint. Why, you ask? I watched the guy ahead of me in line open his tacos, do god knows what with them for a couple minutes in his car, get back out of his car and return them to the people working the truck... because apparently they got his taco order wrong. I then witnessed the cook not-so-sneakily unwrap them, repackage them, and pass them along to me. Already a yikes but during COVID-19??!! Unacceptable. I didn't Karen out on them though, and just sadly accepted my used tacos (which promptly went in the trash), but they most definitely lost 2 loyal customers. My partner (whom I was with at the time) has known them because he's eaten here for years... so if they'd do this to him, who knows what the hell else goes on here at this establishment. Also, they charge whities like me extra for salsa, when you realize they neglect to give you complementary salsa in the first place.

What a wonderful food truck. They make some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, and they are so reliable - they seem to be there all the time ! I got some terrific tacos for Taco Tuesday, but they're great for any day & any occasion . Can't wait to go back ! MUCHAS gracias por todo!
