Even the cauliflower bites have the seasoning on it. I get the ‘Cool’ style - which basically means all the seasoning but no heat. But that’s just me. It’s amazing.

The owner, Mike, is super friendly. I see him come out to talk to people all the time. He spoke with my husband and I for quite a bit. I’m so impressed at the ingredients he uses and the care he takes in hiring certain employees and then how he treats them. He seems very conscientious.

I sampled the chili lime mango sorbet, which was refreshing and delicious, but this time I was in the mood for ice cream. I got the Chocolate Covered Strawberries flavor which was absolutely delicious! Joe brought it out from inside and his friendly service made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Lilo's was our Valentine's Day dinner, and it was wonderful. The evening began in the courtyard, then moved inside to the Chef's Table. The dinner lasted about 2–21/2 hours and finished with a beautiful tea service outside in the courtyard around a fire pit. All of the courses were beautiful and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the wine pairing. I had asked for no cocktails, and they graciously made adjustments; the pairing included a couple of sakes that were fabulous. I loved the stories and history behind every dish and every wine/sake. This is definitely not a bargain—quite pricey—but for a very special occasion (think a 40th birthday or a special Valentine's Day), it's worth the splurge, especially if you enjoy an elegant, immersive food experience (and don't mind not taking home leftovers!).”

“This In-N-Out is especially wonderful. They run an efficient shop and I’ve never seen as line as short as this in any In-N-Out and they are extremely welcoming and have good energy. It was Sunday after sports and there was a large lunch rush and Ethan was kind enough to help us find a retainer that one of the kids had thrown in the trash by accident and did so with a good attitude. This in n out will always hold a special place in my heart”

I was clearly upset and was just trying to stay close and keep my mind busy. I met Brance who was so compassionate and kind. He made me feel safe and welcomed while I waited in tears. I have been living in the village for a while and this was the most exceptional service I have experienced. As a fellow hospitality business owner, the way he treated me will be something I will continue to share as an amazing no expectation, true guest hospitality experience. “Heard about this coffee shop at the San Diego airport so I wanted to check out one of it's brick and mortar locations. I ended up asking for what the most popular drink was and the answer was the Mocha. I ended up ordering the Aztec Mocha which has dark cacao, cinnamon and cayenne. You could really taste the cayenne spice. I enjoyed the drink. Lots of spots to sit inside and outside. Nice coffee shop and looks like the food is solid as well!”

I read through the bad reviews and happy to share some advice. As far as wait time, it’s to be expected for this type of dining. I went in with the expectation of waiting, just check in and they will text when ready. As far as the quality, everything tasted fresh!! You get a full plate of veggies with tons of oils, sauces, and spice to add to your broth. Make sure to ask questions about the broth, some are simple so that you can add your preferred flavors. It seems like this isn’t a typical traditional hot pot set up and I’m totally okay with it. I actually enjoyed having my own pot and I was able to eat the entire thing.

Paid a little more for the premium meat, ribeye and short rib… I regret NOTHING! I guess I’m only sad that I didn’t have more of their pumpkin slices - pairs so well with the meat!!”

“A very quality coffee shop to get a “real” coffee beverage in a sea of Starbucks and commercialized coffee options.

The vibe is hip and modern, and the seasonal offerings are very unique and very good. A winter flavor that really hit was the orange vanilla pine latte. I avoid carbs but hubby had it and it was really balanced and creative.

They sell cute and functional merch as well as the beans! They roast a spectrum from light Ethiopian to medium Mexican, to espresso roast and mix of medium and dark. Decaf, too, I observed- processed minimally.

Bonus- the food looked very premium. And the Pop Pie is right next door.

I have to admit I was there twice in one day – I didn’t mean to, it just made sense the way my day was going.

I guess that means I definitely would, have already returned!”

“Had a fish taco because I was starving but I had dinner ready at home, needed something to carry me through. It was a bit pricey but it does have 2 types of cheese, and it was really good. Would def come try the other tacos.”
