I am here now with 4 little kids, when we ordered they didn’t tell me that one of the subs was going to take 20 extra minutes. Then when I asked, they got really rude and yelled at me that maybe I should find some employees for them to work back there since they have so many orders ahead of me. This is a mall and busy, it feels like the staffing is not right and they are stressed about it. I don’t think it’s ok for them to snap at the customer because they are stressed with work.

3.5 stars. I ordered a giant and I think it should have been cut in 1/4-just like the pictures. I ordered famous Philly mike and it could have tasted better.

Working the same mall as this location I order from them 5 days a week. Customer service used to be phenomenal, but there seems to be a shift in the management team.. all the females I’ve encountered working there currently are very rude with attitudes. Prior to this team shift I would be greater by my name as soon as I walked in. They would even joke around and say see you tomorrow after I picked up my order bag. Big mistake letting previous team go! The restaurant is absolutely filthy! Food and trash on counters and ALL over the floor. Disgusting! Clean up that entire store! Won’t be goin back!

Look, I’ve worked in the service industry for ten years.With that said, my wife and I came in tonight at 8:55. The kid at the counter said, “We’re closed.” I said, “It’s 8:55. My wife just has to use the bathroom.”Before I could finish my sentence, he cuts me off and says, “I just cleaned it. I don’t wanna have to clean it again.”I’m like, “Bro, so you’re really gonna treat a person, inhumanely, because it inconveniences you to have to clean the bathroom again?”Anyway, that’s not okay. I don’t like to bring up the personal side of this, but she did end up having a bowel movement on herself.So, let me make this clear, if you’re completely closed, lock your door. But, if it’s 8:55 and you close at 9, you technically cannot close. If someone approaches your restaurant during that time, you’re obligated to let them in unless they cause a disturbance. With that said, you do have the right to refuse service to anyone. In this case, because you didn’t wanna clean a bathroom, my wife faces problems of incontinence, and loses her dignity.I’m definitely going to have to write corporate. This is sad that your management doesn’t preach a better customer service, empathetic mentality.

Good sandwich, great service! Stopped in here with a toddler who was completely melting down, and the young man at the counter recognized my situation and stepped right up to help. Thanks so much for the chocolate chip cookies that restored my little boy to sanity. (And got the California club that provided a great dinner for me.)

Nick at the paseo location with the mustache was the best! I accidentally ordered at the wrong location and was running late and he made my sandwich there and said he would handle it! Wasn’t his mistake to fix and he still did! Love this location and will always come back!
I stopped by after work for an Original Italian for dinner, the guy that waited on me was very nice and personable, very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with and he made a great sandwich. Right away he asked me how my night was going and the best of all they had my favorite Tastykake Chocolate Junior, the hardest one to find, he went to the back and brought me out one. Thank you, you made my night!

I’m working locally at the Flower Fields. Ordering on line to pickup your sandwich at a desired time is difficult with this franchise. I’ve tried on three different occasions to have lunch ready for my 30 min break. And 3 times the sandwich process started after asking my name when I entered the store. They offered drinks, chips, extra bacon! All which was available on menu if I wanted the items. I understand lunch hour rushes but this occurs around 2:30 pm. Should be routine, but it’s not.

Each and every time I've been to this location, I have been disappointed. Today was the last time I will give them my business. Poor attitude. Bad service. Rock hard bread. The Encinitas Ave location so much better! Friendly. Fresh. Fast. Service without attitude. They earn my business.
